Next morning...Both of them were getting ready for the office...
Jodha : so what u are saying is that nothing can be done now?
Jalal: yeah.The list has been sent to the company over there so...
Jodha : is it a necessity that i should go? I mean it is to finalise a deal right? So why should i be there?and why aren't u coming?
Jalal: Jodha u know na that i have a meeting with the mehra group of companies & i cant let anybody else attend it...and what is ur work over there?well as u know that even though the Adham case is not known to the public but within this industry a lot of them have a vague idea about it and also a sudden dismissal of one of the board director has created a lot of suspicion..and u being a lawyer will be able to make them understand the situation nd make them realise that it wont affect their company..and moreover u are my wife nd owner of the company..so just chill...
Jodha : i am fine with attending the meeting but the whole team... i don't know them i mean not even a single person...
Jalal : thats becoz they are our marketing team from the Pune branch...now get ready...
JOdha got ready...she went downstairs...Hamida and Humayun were informed about this tour by Rasheed and all the 3 were not happy with..
Jalal and Jodha : we are leaving ...
Humayun : just a sec. Jalal i need to talk to u...(they stop)What is this?is everything fine between u guys...and why are u sending Jodha for the new deal...Rasheed is fine now he can handle this deal then why Jodha?
Jalal : abbu i know that u are not happy with my decision of sending Jodha to New York but...its just that i think...she can handle it...let us give her a chance...i know she is a trainee but she has really good experience..and 1 day she has to handle it alone...so why not today...
Hamida : we have confidence in her but sending her alone...i know its a team of 10 but still...
Jalal : ammi she is my wife and the company belongs to her...she can handle it all alone and the team members know who she is and they ll take care of her...and moreover if she can handle Shareef..this is just a meeting that too with quiet a dignified professionals...
Jalal was able to convince Hamida and Humayun...So after the convincing session..they left...
In the car
Jodha : what a liar u r Jalal...quiet spontaneous too
Jalal : thank u for the complement...even though i lied to them regarding the reason for sending u...but whatever i said was true..i believe in your professional ability...
Jodha was happy hearing it from him...
They reached office...
Legal Advisor's office...Jodha was searching for some file...
Rasheed : That means u r ready for the meeting..
Jodha : yeah sir...(Jalal entered the room but unnoticed by Jodha)..Jalal...i mean...Mr.Khan has a lot of faith in me which gives me confidence...and i have started believing in his decisions...and if he thinks that i can handle...i would definitely want to show him that what he thinks about me is correct...but at the same time i am a bit scared too...i mean what if something goes wrong...i don't want to lose his trust on me...it has been a month and a half and its now that i have started understanding him as a person...and (turns around...shocked)
Jalal : and what Jodha?
Rasheed : u guys talk..i ll just come in a while...
Jalal : (side hugs Jodha) seems like uncle is a better friend of urs than i am...thats why u r so open to him...Jodha u have the freedom to talk to me whatever u have in ur mind...be it utter crap but u can talk to me...and regarding the meeting, when u believe in my decision why are u tensed...and if something goes wrong...it will not affect our relation...may be our relationship as a husband and wife is not that strong but i have faith in u and i believe u also trust me which i think is the foundation of all relations...Jodha i hope u understood what i meant coz speaking these things...it just makes me weird (to himself-cant believe i am talking about these things)...so i hope my friend understood everything...and next time onwards make sure that others are not listening to u...i mean whenever u talk about me to others...i end up entering the cabin...be it our first meeting,private meeting hall or even today...
Jodha liked the way he was comforting her...maybe now she has started seeing a good friend in Jalal...even Jalal saw a good loyal friend in Jodha...
Lunch time in Jalal's cabin
Jodha : where is uncle?
Jalal : uncle went to meet the doct...hmm went to meet one of his friend..
Jodha : u were saying something else?
Jalal: no
Jodha : stop lying Jalal.
Jalal : arrey but(saw Jodha's angry face) haan toh what i was saying is that ki uncle has gone to meet Dr.Nath..his best friend...
Jodha : achcha...
Jalal : jodha if i ask u something...dont be annoyed but i haven't seen u enter the kitchen...as in i haven't seen u cook at all..so do u know how to cook?
Jodha : actually..i (Knock on the door)
Abdul : hey Jalal i need to talk to u its important..so
Jalal : yeah i am coming..Jodha u continue with ur lunch
2 Hours later ...Jalal in his cabin...
On the phone
Jalal : Jodha i forgot to tell u that today evening we have planned a party...so go home wear something decent but still fashionable ok i ll come directly to the party..the driver will drop u..i have told him the address...
Jodha : but why are u not coming with me...and where is the party who all will be there...
Jalal : i ll come...the party is in our farmhouse...so quickly complete ur task for the day and leave ok..and take a casual dress of mine and if u want u can carry 1 for urself ok...so see u in the party...
Jodha went home..Hamida and Humayun were more than happy to know that both of them are spending some quality time with each other...Jodha wore a royal blue tea length frock and a matching high heel...she left her hair open...packed a pair of casuals of both her and Jalal's.By 6 pm she was ready...Hamida and Humayun looked at her and smiled...She expected atleast Hamida to appreciate her look..but both of them just smiled...she took the bag and her purse and left...the driver was already there...
They reached the farmhouse by 7:15pm...It was for the first time that she was visiting their farmhouse and was quiet impressed...she entered the farmhouse...it was pitch dark...
Jodha : Jalal...Jalal...Jalal...Jalal...
And suddenly all the lights were switched on...and there she got a pleasant suprise...She saw her cousins Sukanya,Sujamal and Maan...and saw Jalal's cousins Mirza,Ruqaiya and Salima...and Abdul...They came with their better halfs...
They thought that it would be a surprise for Jodha but they themselves were surprised when they saw her...in that dress...
Ruqaiya : hi Jodha how are u...
Jodha : hi i m fine...but what are u guys doing here i mean Jalal told me that he has invited his friends but didn't say anything about family...
Salima :well we are his best friends... it was supposed to be a surprise party for both u and Jalal...but Abdul couldn't get hold of his tongue so Jalal came to know about the whole plan so we were left with u...and i think we have done a good job...
Mann : yeah di...look at Jodha's face she is totally shocked so...our plan worked out pretty well...

Jodha : Sujamal bhai even u were involved in this plan..we just had a conversation today morning and u didn't say anything about this...
Sujamal : this is how a surprise party works...
All started chitchatting with each other.. ...all were happy...But Jodha's eyes were desperately searching for her special friend...
Vikas : are u looking for Jalal?
Jodha : yeah...no no no i was looking at the decorations that u have done...
Abdul : achcha...well he wont be coming today...
Jodha's face became gloomy...she never expected him to ditch her...she felt a bit lonely...it was not that she was missing her husband but was definitely missing her friend...seeing her lost somewhere..Vikas tapped her back...-hey where r u lost?
Salima : he has got some urgent work...and is out of station..he tried calling u but...
Jodha : oh yeah...yeah i forgot my phone..but by the time i recognised it we reached halfway...
Sukanya : but Jiju has asked us to entertain u...and strict orders have been given to us regarding ur food...----.no cold drinks or ice creams as she is leaving for New York day after tomorrow...
Jodha smiles...everybody is busy in their own talk session..Abdul finds Jodha all alone...
Abdul : Hey...are u angry with Jalal?
Jodha : No Bhaijaan its just that i...i don't understand him...i mean when i start feeling that i am understanding him he proves it wrong...i mean isn't it too childish to...
Abdul : i know...Jodha...its just that he loves his work more than anything in this world but also gives a lot of importance to his family..Rasheed uncle is actually not well...he has been daoignised with pneumonia and is a bit serious but is adamant and wants to be a part of this deal...apart from me,Jalal and uncle nobody else knows about it...and Jalal wants uncle to be away from all these tensions and just rest..and it is for this purpose that he had sent ur name coz he has started believeing in u...not only as good professional but also as an honest human being and a...and a lovely life partner...
Jodha : but he didn't say anything regarding this to me..why?
Abdul : coz he knows the kind of relation that exists between u and uncle...and didn't want u to know about uncle's condition...and get panicked...
Jodha felt guilty for being a bit rude to him the previous night...but at the same time was happy that Jalal has started trusting her...and the sentence lovely partner made her curious (to herself): he really said something like that cant believe...oh god when will my husband be a bit more expressive towards me...but suddenly Rasheed came into her mind so
Jodha : so how is uncle now, today morning also when i met him he was a bit sleepy..
Abdul : well medications have started certain test reports are yet to come...but if he takes the medication at the right time everything is gonna be fine...it might take some time...
They had a discussion about Rasheed's health ...for a while...then
Abdul : Jodha i know that u and Jalal fight and argue a lot...but don't take them seriously instead take them in a positive way...u wont find Jalal arguing with anyone apart from his near and dear ones...he is a person who is least interested to fight or argue with someone and waste his valuable time but if he is doing that with u that means he enjoys arguing with u...he enjoys ur company a lot..and i feel now a days he has started discussing stuffs apart from business with u which is a good sign...he just doesn't want to limit ur conversation with him and has started seeing a companion in u to whom he can share everything to...Jodha, Jalal is an extremist..if he wants to do something he gives his 100% and if doesn't he is least bothered about it..his relations are also like that if he loves someone he will make sure that the person feels special and..he will even sacrifice his life for his loved ones..and if he hates someone he makes sure that the person's life is nothing less than a hell...he likes u,trusts u...will love u a lot...u'll understand what i am saying one day, a day when u both will fall in love...just give him sometime i am sure u guys will make a great couple...god bless u...
Jodha felt as if Abdul has answered few of the queries that she had in her mind...and was happy to hear that Jalal enoyed her company a lot...she knew it but felt great to hear it from someone who knew Jalal a lot...
Hours passed it was 9:30 pm...
Ruqaiya : come Jodha have something...
Jodha : yeah...i forgot my purse..its in the car...let me just take it out...
She heard some noise and it was from the car...she tried calling out the driver..but no one reacted to her voice...she came near the car...and saw a man..
Jodha : how dare u...
