hi finaly caught up wid d epi in d aftn and I mst say it ws a fantastic epi...full paisa wasool episode...I ws really amazed dat d cvs actuly followed histry and showed d document whch abhay u were tlking of...thnx a lot 2 u actuly cz of u we gt d inside stry abt d mazhar/document otherwise as radhika said we wuld hav considered as nothr NR of cvs trying 2 show Akbar powerful 😉 (I mean he ws powerful bt we mite thnk d cvs are exaggerating...)...cuming 2 d couples lite banter and romance it ws really gd dey are d magical couple I mst say cz I feel evn if dey bcum 80 yrs old and are romancing stil we wil never feel awkwrd or nythng...dey stil try 2 grab d eyeballs of d viewrs by der nok-jhok romance as if dey are newly wedded couple...and stil njoy each other's closeness like d couple who njoy aftr der newly marriage...in shrt dey are d heart and soul of dis show dats d moral of d stry... 😛 regarding ruks... 😆 actuly I m amzed by myself dat d 1st time I wsnt irritatd by her smirks cz infact I ws laughing at her stupidity for demanding d shawl thou she or ny1 nt being aware of d poison being in it...bt still... 😆 at d end wen she ws sitting in frnt of d mirror and saying 2 hoshiyaar dat d shawl wil suit hr well I ws lik ya dis shawl wil perfectly suit only u and u and nt evn jodha...last bt nt d least hopefully hamida cums up wid sum plan 2 avoid d war cz I posted a pic of daniyal in war attire... so dnt knw whthr it is angst iran or sum1 else...if d promo is goin 2 cum true dn I hope hamida has sumthng upto her sleeves...hoping fr d best...bt overall it ws a relief epi aftr a longgg timeee...waiting fr 2dy's epi hw it unfolds hs 2 b seen...

1 I personally don't think the Indian T.V audience is mature enough to accept a detailed analysis of the Infallibility decree. Having said that these two nations were engaged in hostilities over parts of Afghanistan, so it is not all the imagination of the CV's. Besides if there is any King who could have been a serious challenge to Akbar in the battlefield, it was Shah Abbas of Persia( I am assuming it is Shah Abbas because Akbar took Multan during his reign.)

Shah Abbas is regarded as a Great in Iran. He was a superb military taction, with a a formidable infantry and a truly frightening cavalry. He had a long series of victories all over Asia and Europe. He even gave the Turkish Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent a worthy challenge. Shah Abbas never took on Akbar because he had too much respect for the Mughal military but if he had, who knows what might have happened.

Besides, he was just the man who would have taken umbrage at Akbar's secular policies. Shah Abbas blinded and murdered his sons in a paranoid rage. More pertinently for us, he tortured and killed a Georgian princess who refused to convert to Islam.

Today's episode was good. It can be watched.

You are almost right as per history.

But the makers are showing some other stuff on screen. They have shown not Abbas - I, but Khubdabanda only, who does not fits in the "strong" role, because she was a partial blind weak ruler, and it was his wife who had authority. Though, none of the sides cold afford a war.

Abbas was a head ache for Jahangir also, as he wrestled Kandhar back which Akbar had won, which Mughals could never gain back from Iranians.

Right now its NR and exploiting maximum potential from the religious conversion angle.
