Misplaced sense of justice

Murad called Salim many times but he never went - not because he was sitting with anarkali as Murad told in court but because he thinks Murad has no right to order him around just because he is shah I shah suddenly which was actually his right(as told by Akbar from childhood)

Just think any of us will behave same way if our sibling shall order to come and meet them if our parents make them next to head of family(especially if they are younger to us) taking away what we think was our right

And then Murad goes and asks Salim why are you not coming? when he knows Salim is already angry at the injustice to him. It was like putting ghee to fire

If Murad had understood Salim was pissed off and went away to speak later than it was OK

But first anarkali tried to tell salim state of mind to him and he lost his cool and shouted at anarkali

Salim told him to not shout at her yet he went on saying she is slipper of legs and not to sit on his head etc

Actually Murad was removing Salim anger at anarkali.

And he forgot for salim anarkali is not a bandi and rakasha she is his lover and whom he wants to be future wife. So salim in fit of rage slapped him.

Till this time Ok we can see some sense of logic

But after this logic and sense of justice totally lost

Salim slapped Murad who is a brother. If Murad was angry he could have slapped back Murad like in childhood they used to have fist fights or get angry etc but this matter reached Akbar's ears

Now an intelligent father will never add fuel to fire and call both sons and ask what is matter and ask Salim to say sorry in private if he still not agree give him sometime to realize his mistake. The kind of fights Murad and Salim have are played out almost everyday bet siblings in every household. That does not mean parent will ask son who slapped to ask sorry in front of panchayat, parliament, assembly(DEK is like a parliament). Jodha tried to put sense in Akbar but no he called DEK 🤣😔 to ask Salim to say sorry to Murad his younger brother no matter Shah I Shah.

A family does not run based on designations no son, brother cares if their father is shahenshah or crown prince for them they are family first and foremost and some position later on that too in public.

Murad and Salim had fight in private rang shala not in public. So why make such big issue of this matter. Best part is Murad allowed his dad to set up DEA for this silly issue if any other brother he would advice dad that leave it we shall resolve in our way over a drink etc. But no this silly issue has gone too far now.

Now tomorrow Akbar will ask salim to say sorry and he shall refuse then he may give some punishment etc.

In childhood when Salim by mistake in anger threw a vase at moti a maid he made him stand under sun full day till he fainted

Now Murad has called anarkali another maid aka rakasha royal courtesan(who is above maid in hierarchy) a slipper etc that is fine. Where did Akbar treating all humans equal bandi or prince go now?

Why did he drag such a silly issue to DEK?

If that is case when salim was small Murad made him go out by disguise to return anarkali ghungroo? Why he did not call a DEK to punish Murad?

Why is Akbar's all great justice reserved for Salim only?

He never dared punish Adham, Sharif, Abul Mali, Haider, Maham, Ruqaiah, Bakshi etc for even graver crimes

Its obvious Salim feels targeted as only his small faults are seen in lens rather telescope and not any other family members.

As a father or parent should be seen impartial while delivering justice. It cannot be one rule for one person and another rule for another person for similar errors not even crimes. That is missing totally in JA and logically I do not find what this song and dance is about Salim slapping Murad into a DEK issue.

The answer is that Salim over reacts to situations. His responses are provocative that angers Jalal always.

When Salim was punished in childhood it was for leaving the hurt boy to his fate and absconding from the scene, not for hurting Qadir by mistake. That was cowardice.

He didn't hit Moti by mistake. He intentionally hurt her. Of course his bachpan ki dost also hits and slaps people. But the moment Jalal questions her she apologises to him and even the party concerned if Jalal insists. But Salim invariably defies him and refuses to apologize. That is why he was made to stand in the sun.

Salim never complies with Royal Etiquette which is mandatory for Shaahi log. And Salim was a to be Emperor. Even when he burnt the scales of justice he refused to apologise.

Now again hitting murad is not an issue but hitting Shah Shah and disrespecting the position. The incident took place in the rangshala in private only but in minutes the whole palace knew of it. murad had approached Salim only for an important political consultation as a yuvraj. but salim felt that crying to Anarkali was more important.

Where has Jalal been lenient to others. With Shariffu and Ruqs he was compelled to forgive them. He was ready to slay AK long ago but MA apologised and begged forgiveness. AK too apilogised then. But none of the evil lot defied him like Salim. Most of their faults were known to us the viewers but not to Jalal. He did jail MA when her fault was exposed. He was prepared to go against BK when the latter rebelled. He refused Hussein to Ruqaiya as he felt it was unjust. He was prepared to punish her when she faked pregnancy. Even with Zeenat Ruq was unaware of Zeenat's truth like others. How could he punish her there without intentional guilt.

Now what is wrong if Salim apologizes to Murad for his unruly behaviour? Even now he is only angry that Murad spoke low of Anarkali. If Anarkali means so much to him why doesn't Salim tell everyone the truth? Why hold Man bai on hooks?

Salim doesn't show firmness and inner courage. He only displays insolence and defiance. This is what makes Salim deplorable.

As a society we love two faced people whether in serial or real life

If people act as if they are sorry while back stabbing behind we think they are great humans and forgive them again and again

Salim does not hide his emotions and true feeling towards anyone or any situation - he is not a good actor like all others so he is a bad human not great family guy not great son not great brother not great to be king

Salim what you see is what you get - he speaks his heart out whether mom-dad like it, anarkali likes it, murad likes it he gives a damn etc so he is insolent, bad, misbehaving person
