Jodha Akbar..30th March 2015..Montage Changed again+DT NT Pg8

Following are the major events which happened in today's episode, which was very good.
All in all a fantastic episode..

1.
Salim comes to meet Jodha in her room and joins her in her prayers and also does Aarti. Salim said he was concerned about her health and they both mother-son looked quite well.
There was also a scene of Jodha-Aram Bano-Chama-MM..

2.
Some messengers of the ruler of Iran arrive in Agra. Akbar asks Abul Fazl to give them all comforts.

3.
Jashn..happens...2 minutes dance of Anarkali...
Later, Akbar announces title/honor/award for his Begums..

Salima Begum - given some sort of "award" / designation of "Nor-e-Haram".
Ruqs - given some "honor" of " Tajdari "
Jodha - given the "title" of Malika-e-Hind

Note:
Writers need to know that the first begum is NOT Padshah Begum/Badshahi Begum. They are confusing this term with first wife, like today it was said - "Ist Wife Badshahi Begum Ruqaiya Sultan". Ist wives were called Zan-i-Kalan, NOT Padshah Begum.!

4.
Later, Jalal was about to declare Salim as his sucessor. But the messengers of King of IRan stop him, and ask him to tell all Hindus and all ladies to leave the place, and then they will announce their message which the King of Iran has sent for him..

Jalal himself leaves the Jashn and asks them to follow him. Mirza Aziz Koka and Abul Fazl also join Jalal. The ladies and all other people wait outside...The messengers announce -> "Since Jodha Begum is an idol-worshipper and a Hindu, hence she is not a Muslim. So her marraige with you is alo not valid, and hence the existence of Salim is also not Valid. So, Salim can not be declared next king and can not be given the crown. "

Note:
Folks, what those people said was TRUE, according to their religion.. But, Akbar was a different man. And hence his reforms were remarkable. I wrote last time, that his reforms were considered remarkable by some and blasphemous by some. It depends on how we perceive it. You might have understood what i mean here. Akbar was a rationalist, and not "by the book person".

Mean while, we hear Birbal , Man Singh and TOdarMal praising Akbar for his religious tolerance..

Evil Ruqs is NOT back. But, jealous Ruqs is back, as she thought she deserved this title. Haider was planning to take revenge of death of his father.


Precap:
Jalal gets up angrily and says - "What if i do not agree with your message." The messsengers reply - "Then, all the people who go for Haj wont be allowed to carry on their Haj journey."


Note:
This track is an extension of God Track, as i said on Twitter yesterday. It is related to religious issues. I have given some brief explanation here in this writeup BEFORE anyone of you ask here, to keep the discussion limited to episode only.. Rest i will write in update openly on blog, there you can read it. The count down to those reforms by Akbar has started. The execution was excellent today. I liked this episode, as it was within proper NR limits. I will make an update soon on this, before tomorrow's episode airs. Was busy, hence could not post till now.

Montage has changed. And now it shows Jodha and Akbar together. This is different from the old montage. We saw New costumes for our leads.

Btw salima begum was given the title of 'noor e haram'
I agree that according to islam (no offense to anyone) does not recognise children born from inter religious marriage.
I am sure real akbar must have faced these questions too. What a remarkable man to stand against all that and if this isnt a testimony to his feelings for jodha what else can be. If she was just another wife he would not have given a damn abt her feelings or decision n stood by her thru so much opposition.

Thanks for the details...I mentioned in my post now. and have added the "designation" of Nur-e-haram given to Salima Begum..

So, now Salima Begum is the one who will manage Harem.. At least , some course correction by the CV's.. :-P

BTW, Akbar stood for the rights of women(all) in those times. His reforms show it. :)
The thing about him was -> he was THE ONE who had the authority. He "guided the result of events", and not the vice-versa. Seldom he could be challenged by anyone. We will see all this in his reforms. :)
