CHAPTER- 1

In one of the chambers of Harem. A woman who is in the sixth month of her pregnancy is sitting on the couch and she is weeping not only for what she has lost recently, but also because of the fear that what is left with her will be snatched away from her. It had been more than a week since Atifa had entered Jalal and Jodha's life and everything changed so drastically that the beautiful world of jodha was shattered. It was shattered beyond repair, because the repairer of her world was busy flirting correction busy loving some other woman. The woman was none other than Atifa. Jodha had thought that jalal was acting because she had full faith in him as well as his love, but her heart was shattered when jalal told her the truth that he does not love her anymore . He loves Atifa deeply and madly, but when Jodha asks him what about the promises he had made to her. He replies in a fit of rage- Hum apka sukriya ada karna chacenge jodha begum kyunki apne hume mohabbat karni sikhai. Par hume galatfami thi ki hum apse mohabbat tho. Par jis din humne Atifa ko dekha humne ek ehssas mehsoos kiya. Jo humne aj tak kisi ke liye mehsoos nahi kit hi. Hume uski vakat pata lag gaya tha ki hume Atifa se mohabbat ho gaye hai aur humari sachi mohabbat woh hai. Hum apse ab mohabbat nahi karte. Kyunki apne humesha humari mohabbat ka mazak banya. Apne humari mohabbat ka faida uthaya hai. Aur rahe vada ki bat hume shehanshs jalalludin mohammad akbar hum chace toh soh vade kar sakte, aur soh tod bhi sakta hai. Vaise vhi ab apka humare upar koi hak nahi. Aap mehez ek aurat hai jo humare bachon ko iss jahan mai layegi. Ap kabhi unki maa nahi ban sakti. Hum sub kuch cheen lenge jis se ap mohabbat karti hain. Yeh shehanshah jalludin mohammad Akbar ka wada hai. Yada rakheayega. Jodha was taken aback by jalal's words. Pieces, millions of tiny pieces her heart was shattered into because of jalal's harsh words and his behaviour. If only jodha could reprimand or reciprocate the hurt that jalal had given her, but Alas! Did was not possible for her as she had never imagined hurting him in dreams then reality was far more away than dreams. She just left jalal's quarters saying - Pyar sirf ek bari ho ta hai. Aur agar insane ko dusri bar pyar ho ho jaye toh use samjhana chayie ki voh pyar nahi ek samjautha aur akarshan hai. After saying this she leaves the room and proceeds her quarters with a heavy heart, full of pain and anguish. She came into her room and let out her anguished cry. Jalal's ego was hurt badly by what jodha had said. He wanted to chuck her out of his life, but could not because she was going to give birth to his children, but he took a oath to chuck her out of his life as soon as she gave birth to his children. Know he had completely forgotten that the children were not only his, but they equally belonged to jodha also. It has been four days since this incident has taken place in jodha's life. She tried to forget this incident, but she could not. She wanted this worst incident of her life to be a nightmare, but Alas! It was not. It was crystal clear reality. She tried to be strong not for herself, but for children. Again she embraced failure. She remembered how jalal eyed at her belly saying-. Hum sub kuch cheen lenge jis se ap mohabbat karti hain. They way he stared at her belly made her fell terrified. Jodha's heart kept on asking her the same questions repeatedly in these four days that why had he betrayed her? Did he ever love her or was it only lust? Because Mughals had always had lust towards woman that was what she had always heard from others. Was he just mere womanizer who wanted to get the body of the woman who was ready to accept him? Was her love not sufficient for him? Did her love towards him lack something? Did he just play with her emotions because he had promised to destroy her? Did she ever misuse the freedom that was given by him by her? Was she only a toy of jalal which had faded recently into oblivion as Rukaiya had said? Most important of all questions was that what was written in her children's future? Her head throbbed, and her body ached due to restless nights. Whereas in these months of her pregnancy she must be sleeping in peace and she should be awaiting for her beautiful future to unfold. Her beautiful life with him and their children, but here it was the opposite in the months of her pregnancy she was awaiting for the horrifying chapters of her life to open and each chapter worse than the earlier one. Her heart cried saying to her that jodha do not cry over what you have lost because he never loved you. He believes that he had mistaken his obsession to be his love for her, but his eyes had opened seeing Atifa that whom he was really in love with? Be happy for him because at least he had found someone who will love him more than she does. But will she be able to love him more than she does? Jodha's heart asked her to go away from Agra because could see the love of her life and the man of her dreams submit himself to some other woman in front of her very eyes with which she had dreamed of staying with him and love him till eternity? No she could not see any other woman claiming her husband, but she could not go out of Agra because of two reasons. First, She was not allowed to travel anywhere after the beginning of her sixth month of her pregnancy by the Hakima and the second reason she could not defame Mughal saltnat because she has duties towards the saltnat as a queen. She did not know what do with her life which was becoming much worsened and complicated than before. She did not want to get parted with her kids, so she prayed to kanha to do some miracle.

Promo- jalal asks jodha to come and meet him, but she refuses because she is ill, but jalal misunderstands her .

So, guys how was it. I'm just trying to get used to update long chapters. If u find long chappy's boring i'll update short ones from next time. Should I continue with this story or stop writing.
