Jodha Akbar : Salim and Jalal

Zee TV's Jodha Akbar is headed towards an interesting phase. The show has taken a leap and Ravi Bhatia has entered the show as Salim, Jalal (Rajat Tokas) and Jodha's (Paridhi Sharma) son. As we have seen, Jalal gets angry at Salim for drinking and watching dancing girls and confronts Salim about it. Salim ends up talking back to Jalal and Jalal throws him out of the house to make him fit to become a king someday. Jodha tried her best to change Jalal's decision, but Jalal stood firm, not because he didn't love his son, but because he wanted Salim to be a good leader someday.

We know that Salim still harbors ill feelings towards his father and the fact that some people around him like Ruqaiyya (Lavina Tandon) are constantly filling his ears with negativity about his father doesn't help.

In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Jyotsna Chandola will enter the show as Salim's first wife, Manbhawati Bai aka Man Bai. According to history, she was betrothed to Salim at the age of twelve, however, in the show Salim was thrown out of the Palace before that. The show might take a dip from the historical account.

We will get to see many twists taking place before the wedding, espcially all of Ruqaiyya's plotting and planning. Things will also take another interesting turn when Anarkali's story is introduced in the show
