I too stopped watching due to the opium factor. In spite of several feedbacks regarding the issue, both BT and Zee continued incorporating the abhorrent theme in the plot. No wonder the Trp's dropped, however, I don't think any lessons have been learnt.

What is the point in just severing ties with Rukaiyya? All her atrocities need to be brought out in the open and she also should be publicly punished just like Salima and Maan Singh were. If the chief consort behaves inappropriately, then the punishment meted out should befit her behavior. I don't think Jalal will be shown penalizing her in any way. Since she is the chief negative character in the show, the Creatives will not part with her company easily. They need her presence to spice up the plot.

Jalal severing ties with her will not suffice. All her abhorrent acts need to come out in the open. If the chief consort displays inappropriate behavior, then the shehenshah needs to mete punishment befitting that behavior. Her audha, relationship , bachpan ka dost factors, etc should not influence his decision.

Somehow, I feel that Rukaiyya will not be severely punished. Since she is the main negative character in the plot, the Creatives will not part with her company, they will use her presence to spice up the story.

I'm curious to know how the Creatives are going to show damage control. Salim has already been emotionally affected by the cunning and vicious BEK. Jodha and Jalal have an uphill task of proving their true love to this young prince.

I want to see Maan Singh and Salima's dignity being restored in Diwaan-e-khaas.
