Till yesterday I was thinking why Salim making big hungama on his punishment

He was at fault he ran off from the sport leaving injured boy and lied in DEA
But now I feel he is right
Imagine a child of 9 years he is a helpless defenceless human dependent mostly on his mother and father for everything that includes food, dress, education, money etc
That also includes the child depending on parents for love and protection even if he has done wrong
That is why in courts an criminal/accused family support him although they know he is wrong or go to visit him in prison and also defend him its not considered as lying because it is natural human emotion to defend your family members even if they are at fault
In Salim case the child has been conditioned to be scared of father so much that he lies to anyone to save the fathers wrath be it running of mahal to give ghunghroo secretly or lying in DEA etc.
Now Salim is a child who did fault of hitting an arrow and how scared he was he knew he did fault but ran off place and was too sacred to tell anyone in fear of the wrath he will face. When nadira told witness Salim could have lied again and all court would have supported him but he agreed to what he did. That is where my point comes if an human agrees to his fault the court or judge should not punish him stringently that too here is a small child. But the punishment given was a bit harsh considering Salim is a prince and a child at that.
Add to that Ruqaiah goes to meet him frequently and his mom-dad do not go to get him. And to bring him back to house his mom-dad do not go Akbar could have gone right or was it some prestige issue for him that an emperor cannot go to hut to get his child? And why did he not wait for Jodha to come and go to bring Salim?
Above that neither Jodha or Akbar sat with him and gave him much attention after he came back or showed joy and extreme emotions.
Now Salim being brainwashed by Ruqaiah that his parents do not love him as a child they only treat him as a waaris a property to be used at later date and for them their position of Shahenshah and Muz more important than being mom-dad to Salim.
So it is but natural for a child to get scared and insecure and start ignoring mom-dad like Salim is doing. Any child would do that and even worst if it was 21st century kids. Atleast Salim has no option no where to go neither grandparents house or uncle aunty house to protest and show his feelings only by getting angry.
That anger is not anger against parents it is more an cry for love and care and protection that he think he deserve as a child from his parents. If Salim was an adult 30 year old he would not have got so angry would he never because that time he has wives and children to fall back on for emotional support. He also is capable as adult to provide for himself food, clothes and also protect himself in danger. But not now not as a child.
Only problem is Ruq is using this anger of Salim to get even with Salima begum and Jodha

Jodha- you know boys are possessive of moms anyways 😆
He is angry mom never come to meet him once in hut because she has to maintain her muz post and not even to get him back
Akbar and him are more formal relation in serial not that daddy's boy of real history
Anyways dad has many wives and many kids why will Salim expect that dad shall come to pick him etc mom is only his na so he will expect more from mommy
If its a girl they would get angry at Akbar because daughters are possessive of dad not mom so Akbar is saved of high voltage anger this time 😉
Imagine if Salim was girl and he would stop eating, stop talking, not listen to daddy and give him all sad looks Akbar would have stopped all DEK DEA and run behind his daughter begging and manafying (Aram Banu case of point in history was similar, no matter what she did Akbar loved it 🤣 if same thing his sons do they shall be slapped 😲 and sent to war field or some far off place as governors 🥳 )

I agree dear
Giving punishment to someone who done a wrong things is not bad thing but the one who giving punishment should be aware of what punishment is he giving and whom
And when it comes into a child matter there should be maturity in that punishment
Jalal should be aware of this fact in this situation becoming rude towards is not a good option ...

even I agree with you... the punishment given to salim was too harsh considering he is a child of merely 9 years... jalal should have understood that the lesson which he wanted to give salim should have been given if he was matured enough to understand that... even I feel what salim is doing at this moment is absolutely natural... any child in his place would have done the same thing...
