... I didnt start knowing abt mughal history after this show from some blog on INTERNET

I know you are well versed in Mughal history and I also dont want to discuss much here. I also have very authentic information and also dont just rely on internet. Just like you I too have books that I read and not just rely on Blogs.

In spite of Feeding opium and what not Ruks tries, I was Glad to see Salim telling that his own mother is his God, which speaks volumes about Jodha and his respect for her. Of course he will care for Ruks jut like Salima but will not be the same as his real mother and it never can. No Titles that Ruks boasts, is given and is hungry for can match this. So in my eyes the title for this thread is very apt. Ruks trying to snatch Salim from Jodha but her every attempt fails.

@red, all our hatred is for Ekta's Rukaiyyaband not the real one!

Ekta's Rukaiyya is nothing but a plain irritating character who is NOT grey anymore! We do respect real Rukaiyya! Many of us were dying even to watch MA being humiliated and now ruku-the 2nd MA! At the same time you have to remember that as a queen, she insulted other queens in DEK which was cheap!😃

@blue, This show is supposed to be about Jodha and Akbar! Most of us have no interest in watching titles given to Rukaiyya or Rukaiyya-Jalal relationship! All we need to know about is Jodha and Akbar! Rukaiyya has no important role to play here its just that she is given unnecessary screenspace sidelining heroine! Though Jodha was given 4 titles, none of them were shown here and now they are showing a sidecharacter's titles and all without showing heroine's! This is what we are complaining about!😃

I find it funny that ppl claim to be a know all about mughal history...Now I too am supposed to be MP's descentdant but does it mean that after so many hundred of years and after hundreds of generations what I know by the world of mouth or by reading spicy books is all that is true abt MP...I have never claimed so...I would say that the ppl who at present atre doing research and writing serious books know more abt MP then me..

And as far as I know real mughal descendents are having a tea stall in Calcutta as per zee news...

However this story is about Jodha and Akbar and their struggle , so more importance needs to be given to them. Here Jodha and Jalal are always fooled by others and Jalal is under Rukaiyas control. Salima Begum and MUZ helped in administration and Salima and HB took care of Harem. So in the serial Rukayaa is shown to do do all of this, so in serial she is shown to have more importance than what she had in real history itself.

As Akbars wife she is respected, but if for someone who is vicious and cunning will anyone honor or respect from deep down their heart. People can show it as they fear her, but what is the use if it is not genuine. Real Rukaiiya may not have been so vicious but in history too she was known to be cunning and cruel.

if people have any doubts to if Jodha was important in Akbars life, all they need to visit is Fatepur Sikri

By the way Rukaiyya was buried in Kabul and not near Akbar.

ye track doo din ke mehmaan hai lolz mean to say rukiya will success becoz cv love jaan begum even more then jodha...aage jo ja ke fight bhi hone wala hai cv salim ko bhi jodha se dur rake ge cv ko galatfehmi hai ke main lead ko rula ke trp aa thi hai tabhi har baar jodha ko target kiya jaata hai jodha ko rulao aur trp badao 🤢

Well said ela... And not just zee news even bbc did a documentary on them, and Last known begum is surviving on pension given by indian government and had even tried to sue EK prior to airing of the show. For all the mughal greatness one only needs to see Rajputs still thriving and maintaining their way of life
I wonder if the respect and regard for Mughal begum is restricted only to ruk, why don't the cherishers of their heritage come and help the living heir instead if trying to bask in glory of dead ones!

And anyone who claims to know history should also know that if it weren't for rajputs Akbar never would have been that great. Even with such a huge army and strategically important footholds he never could conquer large parts of India especially southern and Maratha regions.
