Jodha's Kanha is made of neither brass nor gold. It is bronze, and from the face, it looks not like Rajasthani work but like a Chola bronze.

In those statues, which are unique pieces made by the lost wax technique, the male/female deity's vastra are part of the carving. We all have statues like that in our puja rooms and they do not need any extra vastra. And they are definitely not naked! Of course if the bhakts want to clothe the deities, that is another thing altogether. Jodha's Kanha is perfectly decent as he is!😉

I am posting this here as per Khushi's fatwa!😉

I love the Kaanhaa statue in MP. It's pure marble & the best quality I've seen on a tv show. Pls see it if you haven't. That's the one I wanted in JA movie too & I was a bit surprised that they didn't have him in marble in the movie.

In reality, they all had them in gold. On the show Jodha even tells Nigaar (when she was playing Shehnaaz) that she had taken it from her BaapuSaa & later, in Agra confirms that it is made of gold. It's actually brass & too obvious, is another matter. 😆

Khushi JA showed a rise of only 1.5 after diwali but other serials like DABH ,SNS AAND YHM have shown a rise of 2 and more then 2 %...and none of them have shown a fall this week as JA...

Khushi it is obvious that Jalal did blame Jodha after Hussain's death and that is why he attacked Rajwanshis...and not only that but even Jodha is carrying that guilt inside her which Ruku and Jalal have instilled in her that she was responsible for Hussain's murder...That is why she keeps saying sorry again and again...The biggest proof of it is that soon after Salim's birth ruku said that Jo was responsible for Hussain's death...This is the perception ppl carry abt Jo in harem...Why has Jalal did nothing to change it? Three years is a long time...Oh he did tell Ruku that she is responsible for Hussain's death but only after Salim's death...

3...I agree that Jo is shown blissfully happy and this is totally unrealistic again...Why do makers show that a woman would not be bitter abt the man who ditched her for three long years..? becoz they know that they can get away with it...There will always be a small section of audience who will defend their wrong depiction of women...Is this right Khushi?

4...I am sure that each and every audience will matter to the maker...and in feeling bitter against Jalal I am not alone...Most of the women audience are against it as trps show...and I am proud of it...It is time that makers stopped showing such regressive acts against women...

5...Yes khushi like moves on...and so should we...But does it mean we should just forget the past and bury the mistakes? Well that is the easiest route...We will never learn if we just kept moving on and never point at the mistakes of done by our favourate ppl...No wonder our serials show such regressive...

6...the backbone of the serial is not Jalal alone...It is Jodha too and this serial is selling in the name of JA...and as far as RT is concerned I too like him but I am not in a race to beg the prize of being his biggest fan...and why should I? I would rather be true to myself and call a spade a spade...

7...When I said that forum had accepted that kids were from concubines I meant that though they are Jo's kids in real history but here ppl are accepting them as other women's kids...I too emphasise with those nameless woman in harem but to bring justice to them I can not justify wrong being done to Jodha...You have championed so much for Ruku and Salima but I have never seen you saying that Jalal should not have left Jo living in guilt for three years...Was it so difficult? Will it make you any less of Jalal's fan?As you urself have stated that women were nothing without their husbands in those times, so dont you think that Jalal should have understood what Jo was going through after loosing her kids? Did not he realise that his standing strongly on Jodha's side will clear her name in ppl 's eyes and will bring her back to normal ...It was the time when Jo needed him most and he let her down...

I am very fine khushi and enjoying life...and I hope so are you...

@bold...me too...but anyways what appeals to me needn't appeal to somebody else...to each his own...Mandy...the problem with most heroine oriented shows is the misconstrued view of a "strong" heroine...does holding a sword or gun make her more strong than someone who wields the knife in the kitchen day in and day out? ...nowadays Jodha is mostly shown as looking after her son...and so people say she is shown as a doormat...is it not nice to see a mother and child bonding...what is weak about it?...as long as she tramples her husband's male ego, she is strong...but in real life women know the tricks and trade of handling the male ego...and that comes from an inner strength and confidence in our love and also shows our chaturaayi in getting a man around and not even make him realise it...but here Jodha has to put down Jalal and only then she is a strong heroine...I think then she is a dumb heroine coz she doesn't know to handle her man smartly

@ela & all friends here, this argument will go on & on, we will keep on banging our heads but there wont be any solutions. look for jalal/rajat fans like us, we have nothing to loose bcoz we had seen the worst previously as well. so for the script or the screen play we dont want to ignore Rajat's efforts. if today TRPs fall or the show shuts down we will be as happy as u bcoz Rajat will be free for a better project. so just lets agree to disagree. u have ur complains, so does we. ur have ur frustrations so does we. i will just suggest to all & its just a request, no offence to anyone, its better we if stick to our respective threads otherwise we will keep on arguing & fighting for no reasons.

Ela...no point in arguing over the same topic over & over again, with exactly the same exchange of words again & again...I guess we'll simply have to agree to disagree on this topic n move on...

Coz acc to me, Jalal himself (like Jo) was in a trance in those 3 years due to extreme devastation of losing the children, that too, due to gruesome murders...I have seen various shows n read extensively on extreme devastation of parents after such tragedies, where they blame themselves, each other, God, sequentially...The ifs & buts don't end at all...&only time heals them both...The way it healed JJ...in modern times, relationships have broken up too, under such circumstances...hence kudos to JJ for over coming such a big tragedy to go on to lead a meaningful & fulfilling life...

So, I don't think it's any point in continuing this argument any further. I rest my case.😳

But please, do drop in at times to say a hello here too...would love to bump into you more often, dear...😃
