2)u told salim to oppose ruk🤣..really jalal??wat did u do til now al these years?standing numb infront of ur bachpan dost n dnt hv spine to oppose n punish her for all blunders n crime..u r asking now salim to speak against his badammi.. how can nine years kid do wen his abbujaan til now dint oppose ruk infront of evryone?

he has stood up to her or circumvented her many times when her faults have come before him - he gave her a dressing down in murthi issue, opposed her in hoojra shifting issue and supported against her in harem elections. Even in baby sharing proposal till Jodha intervened.

Jalal only adviced Salim to ignore minor faults by others whic he certainly done umpteen times.- he has forgiven even major blunders- he forgave jodha for the narnaal disaster , he forgave Ruqaiya for playing with his feelings in fp track, he forgave bharmal and shivaani for bringing disgrace to the mughal khaandaan , he forgave jodha for Khaibar fiasco, he overlioked the faults of so msny.

Jalal never stood up against Rukaiyya publicly, while he publicised every fault(only according to him) of Jodha!

All he did in murthy issue was blast at her for some 4 mins and talk to her next day as if nothing has happened!

Clearly, this is not standing up! Again he may have supported Jodha during harem elections but behind Rukaiyya's back!

Standing up against someone is solidly/boldly opposing their moves and punishing their mistakes. Jalal never did that!

And, when minor faults are forgiven again and again, they lead to major faults! Faults can be forgiven, ONLY if the accused understands the extent of damage he/she has done by doing so, and honestly regrets for his/her faults!

Comapring faults of Jodha to Rukaiyya makes no sense! I had said this before, every time Jodha does something wrong according to Jalal, she honestly regrets for her deeds and apologises people whom she hurt by doing so, but Rukaiyya?

And most of the faults comitted by ruks arent minor, during the sujamal fiasco, she joined hands with MA without even thinking of harem's safety, which was a major fault! She let some gair mard stay in her harem without informing Jalal!

And again, she just apologised Jalal later just to save her skin, but what about Jodha, who was hurt the most by her act?

Again during FP track, Rukaiyya played with Jalal's, Jodha's,Salima's and HB's feelings! She never aplogised to any of them! She used Jodha as her baandhi and later barked at her, on knowing that she was saved because of Jodha!

And now see, what this all has led to! It was resposibility of Jalal to make make sure that Rukaiyya was completely aware of the consequences of her faults before forgiving her!

Again, Jalal never stood up against Rukaiyya!! He let Rukaiyya shout at Jodha everytime and publicly insult her, though ruk was at fault!

Lastly, Jalal did abandon Jodha for three years ans punished her though Rukaiyya was at fault! He closed the screens of his room right on her face! This IS abandoning!

Jodha is not a girl who can be stopped by a curtain. Remember what she did post dhakka? Simply charged into his rooms and say that he may punish her if he wished but she will explain herself. If she kept quiet this time it is out of guilt - guilt that their love was responsible for Hussain's death . Something that he too felt but was more demonstrative of his bitterness .

We cannot compare Post Dhakka to this one Sandhya. Post Dhakka both had not admitted their love for each other, so its different. Once she truly became his wife and that too after giving birth to twins we do see a wife supporting her husband. After birth of twins I have not seen a Jodha who is going against jalal or I should say she has been shown more foolish the same way jalal is shown.

I do get your Point Sandhya, but for this he does not talk to Jodha for 3 years but spends time with his other wives. I totally totally agree Jalal NEEDS to equally spend his time with other wives but not when he does not talk with Jodha for 3 yrs. He is equally at fault here and cannot get over that 3 yrs part. Him sleeping around with other wives or concubines is not the issue, him not talking to Jodha is the issue. Will any normal husband do this.
