Jodha is singing Hey Muralidhar in front of Kanha with Salim and Sh also comes and sits quietly beside Salim folding his hands and keeps looking at Jo as long as she sings. She finishes her song and is happy to see SH asking when he came. Then Sh asks Sheku baba(SB) why he is inside when all are practicing sword fighting then why he is inside and SB replies he was very tired so that is why he is not practicing when SH asks he tells all about how Nadira insulted and made fun of him not caring for his position and how badiammi scolded her and removed her father from his job. SH though does not understand he asks him to go and practice as Khanekhana is waiting and he is the future SH so he should be good in Shamsheerbazi. Salim looks at Jo who also asks him to go after giving him prasad. He reluctantly goes and after he goes SH asks her about the incident. Jo tells him everything in detail in mute and the visuals are shown and she ends with she could not stop Ruq. Sh says he feels SB not at all interested in ruling and war and learning to fight whereas all the other children are practicing. Jo placates him saying he is too young and he will learn soon. Ja says it's a long time since we went out somewhere let us go out for Vanvihar . Jo asks for roaming or hunting. SH reassures her saying when the time comes he will go for hunting but fo present SB should see the world outside. Jo agrees.
Ruq is playing chess with some smaller queen who keeps buttering her up saying you did not give in to MUZ and kept your argument. Ruq says she did not want to compete with MUZ but wanted to show the girl her place for insulting the heir SHE SAYS WHEN SH DOES NOT STOP HER then how will MUZ raise a voice against her judgment . The other person says that is why Salim listens to you and comes to you Ruq says that is why I am his badi ammijaan and thinks how she will make Salim come to her and hate his mother Jo and then she tells the other smaller queen saying she made a bad move and defeats her in chess .
SH Jo and SB and lot of soldiers in the forest and SB asks his abbujaan why they have come to the forest. Just then some soldiers come and tell him that there are some dacoits ahead and he should not go as the young prince is with him. SH says why not and SB asks his ammijaan who are dacoits. SH says this is my area and I wont let anyone occupy it and tells SB that these dacoits loot people of their valuables and many a time lot of accidents happen in this places. He says why are you letting this happen as you are SH . SH tells he is going to fight with the dacoits with a few soldiers and instructs the others to take care of JB and SB. He also instructs SB to take care of his mother. SB is thoughtful.
Murad is telling Haider that SH took SB and not him as he is Walihaad . Hyder says SH loves him more but Murad says no its not like this and his mother told him that shortly SH will take all for hunting tigers Daniyal says he will never go for hunting and will prefer to stay in the palace and eat good things. Murad reassures him that they will have a lot of fun and he will save him if the tiger comes .MUrad and Hyder share a secret smile. Daniyal says let us eat something and play as the Maulvi will come shortly and then they will have to do riyaz.
Jo is sitting in a tent and SB comes and asks her why the dacoits steal Jo says they are bad people but not to worry as his father is a very good swordsman. SB says he says and he saw Abbujaan in sword fight and imitates him and says looking at him he was afraid Jo laughs
Jo tells SB go and sleep come I will make you sleep but Sheiku says no I have to protect you as Abbujaan told me to TC of you. He brags you know why he left you in my care as I can swordfight better then him but looking here and there so that suddenly his abbujaan does not come. . Jo laughs and teases saying SH you came back Sheiku gets nervous saying I meant to say that SH is the biggest swordfighter. Jo laughs and Sheiku sees no one is there again he says he is not afraid.Just then dacoits attack them and SH disguised as one attack them and comes and catches hold of Jo and tries to steal her jewelry then Sheiku baba goes and shouts at the dacoit to leave his mother and he is a heir to the throne and he cant do this but he pushes the kid and Jo picks up a knife to attack and SH throws away the knife and says what will you do now but then after some hesitation Sheiku picks up the sword and injures SH and then is surprised to see the blood .SH removes the mask and congratulates him and asks all to stop Salim says Abbujaan and Jo is also surprised. Jalal then teaches Salim the lessons of king and says he should always protect his praja and safeguard their interests and not show power over them and he says he should ignore minor faults of them . He asks him why did he not stop Ruq from removing Nadira's father from job and make them homeless and without food. He should make his own fortune not work according to fortune and he should take ahead the legacy of his family. Jo though 1st angry later proud liked the way SH was teaching his son how to rule and says SH Salim is too young to learn all this and SH says I was younger then him and those who want to make a name for him will have to learn . Today he made my blood flow and tomorrow he will write history with that blood and he goes. Jo hugs a thoughtful Salim with tearful eyes.
A beautiful soul talk about how he taught the lessons to his son and how he learnt from it. SH says but history was changing we were planning something else and life taught us an unexpected lesson and something else was to happen.
