It's disappointing to see the show which has now become totally rukayya rukayya n rukayya... No matter who the leads r whether Jodha akbar or salim anarkali or shahjahan mumtaz.. Only rukayya wil b main lead controlling evryone with drugs... I wanted parijat to quit aftr big leap as the show wil b anar ruk salim...
I wil hv watch if Jodha akbar Salim anarkali both r portrayed by parijat only... But our cvs love for ruk wil never give proper justice to JA or SA characters... I wanted parijat to play JA SA Salim manbai salim nurjahan too...

salim was supposedly a weak character
so may be it will not be a good choice for rajat

frankly I dont want RTPS to play other roles in the same show...they r already playing the legendary characters! nothing can match the level of JodhaAkbar...so its better for them to stick by playing JA only.

about Salim, he is nowhere near authoritative/strong Jalal...and Anarkali has a cameo role in JA...as she was burried/freed and Salim moved on.

so I dont see RTPS as SalimKali...casting fresh faces will be best.

yesterday I was thinking what if Salim is played by RT and Anarkali,Maan Bai, Noor Jahan all 3 played by Pari? main toh khush houngi😆😳 humein Pari urdu bolte hui dikhegi😳

but seriously nothing can match Jalal-Jodha..they r legendary..Salim is nowhere near Jalal ki popularity and among the 3 ladies; Anarkali cameo hogi, Maan Bai dies early (best than the other 2) and Noor Jahan was power hungry...toh Jodha is the best here.

so RTPS as Jalal Jodha is the best option.

I would like to see how he plays something so different... remember, while he wields the sword well enough, me thinks it was his tears at the Dargah that got him so many awards for JA!

Strong fighter-warrior roles would end up typecasting him - and that's primarily what he's been playing off-and-on since PRC times. I am not saying he SHOULD take up Salim... but I'm saying we should welcome him in other seemingly 'weaker' avtaars too... there's no risk in him taking up something different once in a while na... just my opinion... 😊

@ TM - Another point why Pari could play Anarkali... she's learnt kathak.. she is a good dancer!

agar mera bas chale toh main RTPS ko Salim-Anarkali, Salim-Maan Bai, Salim-Noorjahan ke liye cast kardu and phir leap aur RTPS as Shahjahan-Mumtaz
