Divs, there is a beautiful poem by Tennyson - Home they brought her warrior dead - which goes - home they brought her warrior dead, she did'nt weep nor uttered a cry; all her maidens watching said, she must weep or she will die - and Divs, this is true for every human who has been thru a shocking and traumatic experience of extreme grief - they have to weep or they will die - and Akbar and Jodha said the same for Akbar - he was slowly dying becoz he had not wept at all - and since the morning when Hussein died is shock turned into trauma and pain which he never let out in tears to cleanse himself and this now has become the volcano of anger which is bursting out and thus causing extreme destruction - but interestingly the soil around a volcano is supposed to be highly fertile aluvial soil - and as they say every act of creation is based on destruction - this destruction is necessary for any further creation

That is very true ... but everyone doesn't have to go the Jalal route ... thankfully 😆

While I understand where Jalal is coming from, it is not a path to recovery I would recommend

but then divi not every one is Akbar the great na

Well i enjoyed yesterdays epi for the freshness it brought. I got to see a fiery jalal n a fiery jodha. All i worry abt is that the destruction left in the path of this churning ocean may cause life long scars coz one never forgets the pain given by those u love the most. Loved how jalal screamed to stop ruqqaiya from performing the ritual. Half of it was to bend jodha to his will but the other half of him refused to let anyone take her place in his life.

you made a very good point here at he refused to let anyone take her place in his life thats the reason he stopped ruqiya from doing ritual could it be other reason than that ?

I didn't know we could actually choose a path to recover from things like this. Jalal's personality and his past has made him go this route. Jodha knowing his past, his present with her ... is holding on to the knowledge that he can change...and he will change again. She just has to wait at the other end for him.

Unless Ekta decides that Jo has to interrupt his journey with some shocker.
