Here a girl was married at nine years of age, jalal was the only friend she had.she believed no matter how many girls he married she will always control him ,but jodha changed everything not to mention the first meeting with jodha wasnt very nice, now rukiya has lost everything her friend husband and now to be a mother, yeah power hungry title grabber whatever cvs want to show.now she doest want to loose this chance with hussain hes all she has,to get her lost glory trogh this baby, there must have been a reason why akbar gave khurram to rukiyya out of pity yah to make up to her ,for all the pain he gave her by maring so many times.history is a big mystery,nd of the day he was her husband he must have felt somthing for her, soory for the long rant but had to get this off my chest

i umderstand ur frustration. But my personal pov is history is often coloured by the perception of who write it too.
i belive on facts. But when it come to characters i generally try to remain nuetral .I respect all views but choose to make my own perception. To your question ,i think ordinaray viewers may just forget it next moment.More serious viewees would certainly do more research and form their own perc eption. For me personally i think ja is still best, they may tweak but try to follow factual events. There could be a miss or two but still with those exceptional actors who bring into life the characters its till good.
Rima ,Myviewprem I have tried answering your question too in this.

Priya , you have shared awesome views on the general dislike towards Rukaiyya .

Rukaiya , the childhood friend and first queen of Jallaluddin Mohammad . The two of them were married as kids , even before they understood the importance and significance of the commitment . Even though polygamy was commonplace , Rukaiya 's world was secure until Jalal always considered her his khas begum and never gave her reason to feel otherwise , in spite of marrying several times .

The Creatives have etched her character in such a manner that we cannot help but dislike her .
She displays no qualities befitting the Chief Consort of the Shehenshah .She is a khaandani mughal by birth but has no noble virtues . She is extremely immature, arrogant , haughty , rude and narcissistic by nature. Her jealousy and insecurity in general , knows no limits and she is ready to stoop to any level to achieve whatever she wants . The methods that she uses to achieve her wishes are despicable and we cannot stop ourselves from hating her.

She loves anything that gives her the feeling of being in control . This includes Jalal too . She does not love him but loves his title and the power it exudes . She loves being in charge of the harem because she associates it with its members having to follow her orders . Her obsession of wanting power and title stems from deep insecurity . Look at the manner in which she conducts herself with Hoshiyar Khan . She cannot do without his/her assistance and yet treats him/her with scant respect by constantly yelling at him/her . She slaps bandhis at the drop of a hat and shows little politeness or courtesy towards her fellow queens , including her cousin Salima .

When the teenaged Jalal grew up into a man and fell in love with Jodha , Rukaiyya's secure world came crashing down . She hated the fact that he was drawn towards Jodha , liked spending time with her , she saw Jodha as the person who took away her chess partner , her friend with whom she went on boat rides , a friend with whom she played polo and unfortunately for her , a partner whose presence she had taken for granted.

A mature Jodha ,never ever intentionally came between Rukaiya and Jalal . We have seen her sensing Rukaiya's insecurity several times and patiently putting up with her insults , especially after her first moments of intimacy with Jalal . The Creatives have shown us the stark differences between the characters of Jodha and Rukaiya , thereby bringing out all the flaws in Rukaiya . How can one like a woman who ruthlessly separates an infant from its mother, solely to get the title of MUZ ?. She sees Jodha as the person who snatched Jalal away from her , hence wants to teach her a lesson by taking her baby away from her . This kind of character who has no qualities of a mother , no natural sensibilities that a queen of her stature should possess , will only invoke anger and disgust .

Having shared my dislike for Ruakiya's character , I have to accept and appreciate actor Lavina Tandon's excellent portrayal of Rukaiya . She has got into the skin of the character and played her role to perfection . She is so good as Rukaiya Sultan that the moment we see her on screen , we react with anger . This reaction from the viewers proves that she is an excellent actress .

Thanks charu and first of all I would like to thank you for putting forth excellent views on ruq.😊

True very well put.Polygamy was never a problem for ruq as she knew jalal will consider her always the first and foremost.

The Creatives have etched her character in such a manner that we cannot help but dislike her .

True.. from first her character was grey only ..

She loves anything that gives her the feeling of being in control . This includes Jalal too . She does not love him but loves his title and the power it exudes . How aptly put... I just loved your points in bold and completely agree with you in all the points you have put forth.

Ruqaiyas pbm was not jalal spending time with her,but her pbm was the way he gave her importance and the way he respected her views .If she has been like others an ordinary she very well knew he would have lost interest in her and wouldn't have care abt jo much

A mature Jodha ,never ever intentionally came between Rukaiya and Jalal . We have seen her sensing Rukaiya's insecurity several times and patiently putting up with her insults , especially after her first moments of intimacy with Jalal . I also agree jodha understands her insecurities completely and there is a guilt in her mind too that after her arrival jalal and ruqs relation has changed and thats y she always put with ruqs insult .yes like you said we can see this clearly after sr.Before jo tries to give back with class ..but after that she is more understandable .Yes this also shows how jo is vastly different from ruq ,if its ruq she would have paraded it before all and would put the other down but jo always tried to preserve ruqs relation with jalal and no wonder he loves jo most. Loved your points in bold and couldn't agree more.

Having shared my dislike for Ruakiya's character , I have to accept and appreciate actor Lavina Tandon's excellent portrayal of Rukaiya . True all of our frustrations are only with the character and personally i too like lavina .. If a villain on screen is hated much then the actress portraying it should be excellent ...Loved all your points cahru .You had put forth your views in the most elegant manner and i applaud you for it.👏
