Thats an interesting angle and very plausible...but in this case ruk goes scot free...

Ela, since EK has not followed history in the name of NR in many instances - I for one will believe that she has not done so in the case of the twins as well - and I will go with it having been Hassan who died in the show first and Hussein is set to follow this week - srry to spoil you party girls but I am very very sure that all these hopes of yours are going to be dashed just as hopes were dashed regarding Jalal during Mirchi war - so all do chill, its Hassan who has died as of now and Hussein who will be shown dead this week.

Ruqaiya is not incapable of meanness and arrogance. At most she may remain silent to save her skin. But she cannot do any serious crime herself.

And how can she swap the babies deliberately past jodha moti zakira and all and sundry without the risk of getting caught? It is highly improbable.

I know that you all are more eager for Ruks to have done some crime and get caught and get punished.

Which book of history or chronicle mentions the 7 yr estrangement Ela? Like Goebbel's doctrine it has been so repeated in the forum and is now considered the Gospel truth. Relations between jalal and Ruqaiya developed tensions with the advent of jodha for sure and thete had been misunderstandings but nothing major. If there was can you please give me the reference?

Ela, the fact that Ruqs remained as one of Akbar's chief queens is a witness to there being no 'Punishment' as you call it - Ruqaiyya was not a part of his close confidantes is what I have been saying and that too due to her intolerance and her power fixation - and due to these reasons she was not a part of the inner circle - and isme yeh jo sab 'Punishment' ki baat kar rahe hain woh kahan se aata hai ???? - The way she has used the baby Hussein shows her power fixation and her intolerance is well known - and the max that I expect is for Akbar to say that he would no longer consider her as a friend, confidante and advisor - isse zyada I for one do not expect anything.

intolerance and power fixation was a part of her always. As though Jalal doesn't know. Why should he suddenly quote them as reasons for a break of friendship? And so far even with Hussein she has not been technically wrong. She didn't threaten or force Jodha to give her the child. She hasn't ill treated the child. If on Monday zeenat manages to poison the baby then Ruku's over protectiveness could well be called a shield so far. ( so i dont want zeenat to succeed...Atleast for the sake of peace in the forum)

Sands, that is what EK is showing - but as far as I know there was never a kids sharing that happened and Ruqaiyya was never very close to Akbar the way EK has shown - primarily becoz he was more in the war front in their initial years and later his world view evolved while hers remained the old narrow bigoted view which did not induce any closeness - which he had with Salima and MUZ - and since EK's premise is 'How Jodha changed Jalal' - which itself is a wrong premise - so she is showing what she is showing
