We should stop calling this an adoption, this was intented as baby sharing by Jo JA - as the baby was handed over to someone in the same household, living under that same roof and would have had the same set of parents. And giving this setup, it was very natural to assume that although Ruk will have primary rights on the baby, Jo JA will not be shut out of his life. Would Jo have taken the same deciosn if Ruk had said she will take hussain to Kabul forever (which is practically the case now wrt jos access to Hussain) - I doubt that.

No one is questioning the legality of Ruks right on hussain, and Jo herself said she doesn't want Ruk to go through the same anguish as her, but everything that is legal isn't always morally right. If Ruk can't even have compassion and sympathy for a bereaved mother, who has repeatedly stood up for you, has given up a share of her biggest joy for you - then legal rights or not, she surely doesn't deserve any sympathy.

Auntyji has not seen a single episode of JA so far and was forced to do so as I was glued to it on Friday. She doesn't know Ruku's initial natak misusing Jo's weakness for uchithness.

But when you take a big decision as giving your baby in adoption, you should weigh all possibilities. Yes, you wouldn't imagine the death of Hassan, but Ruk's running away to Kabul is also a distinct possibility. She might have well have done that. That is why Jalal was against it in the first place.

As I told Adi the other day in Ela's thread about the movie in which a modern, broad minded educated mother who has grown attatched to her adopted daughter decides to leave the town with her husband, bags and parcels and all, when there is a threat of the child being taken away when the real mother comes into the picture.

And this is the mean possessive high-handed Ruqs who is nowhere close to Jodha in large heartedness. But simply because she cannot be a Jodha, that doesn't make her a deserved recipient of all the vindictive derision the forum is bestowing her with. She is behaving in a way any short sighted possessive narrow minded woman does. While this behaviour is total meanness and morally incorrect, esp when juxtaposed against Jo, it doesn't mean that it is evil or worthy of losing her husband, family and respect as the forum wishes in the name of 'bandaphod'. Well atleast so far. When she does commit a crime, she deserves to be flung out of the window. But so far, she hasn't.

Had Ruku shared Hussein with Jo now, she would have become mahaan no:2 of the show which would be too much to bear. Jokes apart, on humanitarian grounds she should have. But jealousy and fear of loss anger and hatred makes you blind to every reason.

Hasn't Jalal been mean to Jo due to his anger and MA's instigation and his inability to win her over easily? Didn't he place his dhakka insult high enough and refuse to see reason in the Benazir issue?

Hasn't Jo been mean to Jalal due to her hatred for him and his clan? Didn't she shower him with insult after insult even after he forgave her after the tiger fiasco and after he gave away his dear fort for her sister even without knowing Shariffu's hand in it?

Ruku is also mean to Jo due to jealousy as Jo has become whatever she wanted to be and now she fears that Hussein may be taken away from her and given to Jo. She was more level headed in her own MC and saved Jo from Jalal's swipe because at that time Jalal was with her on her side.

The Ruku hatred is more due to her very existence in Jalal's life than due to what she has done.

Ela ,my neighbor had a Doberman and Pom and the Pom used to do all " dadagiri" on the Doberman.😆My father too had brought a Pom puppy for me when I was in 8 th std and she was there with us till I was pregnant with my son.So many years she was with us ,we were so emotionally attached with her.This Pom reminds me of my sweety 😭
