Haila..itna kaam kiya bachi ne..Originally posted by: Anushka8722
okay.. I have a good explanation for this😆came from school at 2 pm.. had food and changed and all till 3 pm.. phir I chatted with mom till 4 pm.. then I took a nap and woke up at 6 pm.. then I lazed around, fighting with my bro for chocolates.. he ate them all😭thenn at 7 I started doing my homework.. finished it at 7:30.. was watching D3 along with it😳 then I started watching Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and switched on my laptop.. and started typing update... I came online now on IF😳
Take 5 for another riveting chapter with 56 writer-e-khaas ... it was tiring for us, but I am sure it was even more tiring for you 🤗
Yeah dear... 🤗
(1) Animal instinct: We knew that Jalal had reached the same level of extremity as Ramcharan in the end of the last chapter where we were told of the transition ... But , the beginning of 56 took this to a new level ... The hunting-prey imagery and analogies were amazing and brought it to life. If last week I liked the flower under the shoe, this week it was "like a rabid canine paralyzing a deadly insect under its claws" and then the image of the cannonball with Jalal's final ramming into the creep after he swallowed the key.Awww so you liked it... I'm glad... I mean I wasn't sure if everyone would... 😳
(2) A return to senses ... How amazing your Jalal is that he came back to senses at the right moment ... What good would be avenging Jodha's pain if it would threaten the same future with her? But what an amazing ploy- he made it seem he was saving Ramcharan ... Only to have oil greased hands to drop his foe to a fitting end. And some may ask why Jalal had to go to such extremes with Ramcharan, but he had to - or else Ramcharan would have thwarted every attempt of Jalal to save Jodha.true... it was timely thinking... or it would have made the whole effort futile. I also don't understand Bollywood and Hollywood movies showing the hero just getting rid of many many side characters (like in Bang Bang for instance) and never face the repercussions of those hundreds of lives.. 😆 Those kind of facts take away from feeling 'real' for a hero!
On a more serious note, this was essential for Jalal to do - immobilize him. Because even if the guy didn't do much today, there was no saying he wouldn't come back to do the same things over and over again!
(3) Isn't it amazing how adrenaline can bring you strength ... But immediately Jalal weakened as he saw the blood. His despair at seeing Jodha was heart-wrenching ... Especially in such a moment that he had defeated their adversary.Yeah it goes up in seconds and as it comes down, the body is left in jitters in seconds too
And poor guy, he kept saying how he was late. His two last actions in the living room touched me ...The following four things touched me in the end of this scene:
- One was asking Abdul to make sure that Jodha went in the first ambulance ... His presence of mind when he heard there was only one ambulance is amazingYeah 😭
- Second was his taking Jodha to the door ... To make sure her rescue was as quick as possible ... And the beautiful way he was connected to her and talking to her the whole time - particularly the line "You've got to be strong girl... you've got to help me out here... ok?"Yes - me thinks he kept talking to her to give himself strength rather than anything else. Strength and faith that she as still there listening to him!.
- The loving kiss
- The symbolic nature of the taaveez ... and how it wanted to be a part of her now
Yes..that Taveez was the last thing that left his mind before he slipped into unconsicousness.. so fitting that his Astral scene was about Abbu handing him over to Jodha (as it was abbu who gave him the taveez for protection)
And how ominous was the "sleep" that he was referring to ... the sleep that both Jodha and Jalal went off too .. leaving their friends hanging.
Yes ... that word 'sleep' alone can be deciphered with so many meanings.. 😊
(4) Renu's practicality, guts, and presence of mind: Today Renu stood strong for me ... yes Abdul was also trying his best and pushing forward ... but I liked four things with Renu today:As I mentioned elsewhere, while Renu stood the strongest, all of them played their respective parts too
- The way she objected "Why have YOU given up?" to Abdul ... but then later understood the state of Abdul
- She herself was getting pulled into grief without all the dead-ends ... but seeing Meera she herself pulled herself together and asked her to be strong for them
^^^ Yes this was the extent of her desperation!
- Her presence of mind when she saw the blood through the bottom of the door ... and covered it ... because if the group had seen it ... all hope and perseverance may have crashed
😭 Yeah...
- And then she was extremely practical and found the lock smith.
Yup.. cos even if the police did come, they'd waste time trying to sort silly formalities ask questions, get the watchmen to try again etc etc.. this way was best - also by going on foot, she avoided the 7:30 pm junction traffic
(5) And as always, my favorite parts are the way you transition scenes ... moving from Part 1 to Part 2 ... we do not know where we are ... as does Jalal not know where he is.
YES!❤️ you loved this one too!
How beautiful is the part in blue? In the realm, between life and death ,and as you are fighting for your life, you often do see memories floating around you (I myself have shared a similar experience with me) ... you travel through time. How beautiful it was ... the image of a young boy with his father ... and the imagery was beautiful "It was God's skilled artwork on this canvas of nature." And to be honest, this scene was like a sunshine in the darkness ... before we all came into the darkness with him and transitioned to darkness and being alone ... when he woke up! Hats off for a brilliant addition to the chapter! 👏
Thanks so so so much for this.. you were the first one to let me know you loved the blue part. I put up a few theories on that blue part - did you read them?😳
And then, we also wonder what is this white room he is in ... just as he is.Awww...And you kept us well in suspense in the second part - we didn't know who was the patient they said could not survive ... we did not know what happened to Jodha. And you brought some closure, as we knew Jalal was safe and Jodha was alive but in a coma. I am not worried Lashy that Jodha is in a coma ... after all how can she wake up from her deep slumber till she knows that her Jalal is waiting for her on the other side ... your Jalal will get her out just like the show Jalal brought Jodha back after the drinking of poison. 😳
🤗
Thanks again for a beautiful, but tiring (more for you), update writer-e-khaas 🤗
Thanks so much more for this ^^^^ because without this ^^^ everything else is futile🤗
Hey my sweetheart... missed you yesterday 🤗
PART 56- A FITTING END?
Another fantabulous update Lashy!! I really really loved it. I wouldn't say I am at peace now but yeah I am relieved somehow. My thoughts aren't actually coherent at the moment so please ignore if you don't like something I am going to write now.
Sure dear.. 😳
Jalal is at par with the stalker now
If she can't be mine, she can't be anyone else's...and definitely NOT YOURS!' As u said this was the final undoing. This creep was again trying to have the upper hand with that pocket knife by riling up Jalal all the more than he already was. But he was in for a shock here as he had done the biggest mistake of his life by underestimating his young student. With the stalker acting in seconds, he was going to respond in microseconds. With the stalker playing sly, he was going to play slier! This said it all. I need not add anything here. I really loved the line- like a rabid canine paralyzing a deadly insect under its claws. The stalker is going to pay the price for his actions now.😈
👏 How much can a man take? This guy was seriously pushing it
I liked how Jalal didn't loosen his grip on the stalker's hand. Atleast not until he had broken his finger-bones. This was just the starting. DID THAT MANIAC ACTUALLY SWALLOW THE KEY? I am aghast. Just so that Jo couldn't be saved and in that case not even Jalal.
Yes yes and yes!
He was more afraid of letting his enemies win than losing his own life. He had decided if it was going to be his last night then the same will happen to his victims'. I did notice that now he is even hell bent on taking Jo's life, someone he wanted to marry as he claimed to love her for his own twisted reasons. But then I guess it was expected after he realized Jo wasn't loyal to him as he had thought. She was loyal only to HER MAN and had always loved him no matter what. Jo is also his enemy now. What a sadistic creature! This is insanity( for lack of another word. Probably you can tell me an apt word for this) on an all new level.😡
No no it is insanity... when Jodha ceased to be this image of HIS wife that he'd always had... her life/death became a bartering tool for him 😭
So the stalker is holding on to the parapet wall for his dear life. Great! That idiot had the guts to call Jalal beta' after all this. Oh God!!!!
That's his deviousness na... can you see the stark difference between the professor who welcomed his student inside to what the man became later on
It was nice to see Jalal coming back to his senses at that crucial juncture for he couldn't afford to destroy his future over that creep. He couldn't taint his beautiful life by becoming a murderer in the eyes of the law. Guilty for getting rid of a maniac. So he adopted a more rational' pursuit of revenge. I am flabbergasted at this guy's quick thinking Lashy. But he also knew he can't hoist the prof up to save him because that would mean endangering his life as well as that of his love all over again. He had to put the creep permanently out-of-action without breaking the laws.
Yes that's my Tedha Jalal for you 😎
And my my what a way he came up with! Greasing his hands with the oil from the hinges of the door and offering to help that creep. The oil was traceless.
Haan na... cos it'll eventually get absorbed into the skin... and with all this fall, hospital admission etc.. everything will waise bhi wiped out! They're obviously not going to get International CSI for this idiot 😆... so, Jalal is safe!😃
Waah. I so love that sly grin'. But the prof didn't know what he was in for. And lo, he fell. I hope he has a fate worse than death. Maybe paralyzed for life. A dependent on others. He doesn't deserve to die this easily. By simply falling from a third story. I don't care if I sound sadistic here.😡
No no you don't sound sadistic... 🥱 I can only imagine what he'd have done to a helpless Jalal!
As he stood tall, he resembled a warrior at the top of his game. Wow!!!!! You know what? This reminded me of the on-screen Jalal right after he had flung down the lifeless body of Adham Khan( ignoring the gory details there). That particular scene was top-notch and I had loved it. As soon as I read this part of blood trickling down the sides of his face and the warrior analogy, this image flashed in my mind out of nowhere.
Yes dear... it reminded me of that scene too... though I outlined the story ages ago.. I knew this part might remind many of that scene 😳
I AM PROUD OF JALAL HERE.
Now that he was done with what he had set out to do, the pain and exhaustion started sitting in. Very realistic. He was human after all. He's bound to be in pain considering his grave injury. If not, he would be a Super human.
It's called the after effects of an adrenaline rush. Just like how adrenaline can numb your pain, make your reflexes faster/more efficient, make you quicker, stronger etc... once the adrenaline wears off, it makes you feel 'worse' than you were to begin with. E.g. - you're about to step onto the road. You see a car coming at you. In that split second your reflexes shoot up. You'll lunge back to save yourself. But once the car leaves, you have to sit on the footpath for sometime cos you've become so shaky. 😊
It's amazing how he was able to put all that aside to tackle the stalker and get HIS GIRL to safety. He had been losing a lot of blood all through this. The trail of blood must have been a disturbing sight. He knew his injury wasn't superficial but he was past caring. As long as the blood's mine and not hers... I can't be bothered...' What a man he is!
Yes!
With this he made his way back to Jo. It was gut wrenching to see him trying to share the victory with the lifeless' body of Jo. The way he was losing his optimism and was chiding Jo saying she didn't have the right to punish him so for coming late. Asking her not to give up on him oblivious to the fact that she wasn't listening.
How he must have felt then 😭
It is commendable that inspite of being so injured himself all he cared for was Jodha's life and made Abdul promise that the first ambulance would take Jodha. He did everything he could for his girl before slipping into unconsciousness. He carried her to the front door so that the paramedics could save a few seconds. His longing to share a precious moment with her not knowing if he will ever be able to do so again had me crying. The kiss that followed made me shiver. No idea why.
Awww dear😭... I understand you were imagining yourself in their shoes!
He gave the lucky talisman that his abbu had given him as a child, something he held dearer to himself than any other thing,to Jo. To keep her safe. This spoke volumes about his love for Jo. That how she was more important to him now. This entire scene was very poignant. Loved this the most in the entire chapter. It's amazing how you manage to put in atleast one such moment in every update of yours. His last words while he was still conscious -that he is tired an wants to sleep for some time and when he wakes up- he blacked out there. Couldn't even complete what he was trying to say. So much of crying since yesterday. Ufff
Awww ... 🤗
HERE I WANTED TO HUG HIM TIGHT. SIMPLY FOR THE MAN THAT HE IS.
Hug hug.. 😉
His friends are real gems. Abdul, Renu and Meera. Abdul's desperation to reach out to his friend and help him was penned down very nicely. The way he had been using his own body like the flat head of a hammer trying to break the lock without resting was fab.
Yes! Abdul's a gem!
Renu deserves a special mention here. Though I never hated her but I never really liked her either.
She was always meant to be like that - a character you can't hate but can't truly like either!🤔
She was superb here. She was the only one who was somehow keeping her emotions in check and trying hard not to break down then for her friends needed her. She couldn't waste time in wallowing and rather wanted to do get them some help ASAP. She is one strong girl I must say. Loved her power speech to Meera that she needed to stay strong for her friend as well as for Abdul, who was almost on the verge of breaking down. Loved her concern for Abdul and Meera when she saw the blood trickling out of the flat.. Knowing they wouldn't be able to take it she sealed the opening.
Yes she's always been matter-of-fact na.. so here we saw the other kind of adrenaline rush 'Get things going ASAP' stuff
I couldn't help but notice that she was genuinely worried for Jo as much as she was for Jalal. I guess for the first time ever she referred to Jo as her friend. And she meant it. Wondering if her friends' were even alive. Her quick thinking and timely action saved them.👏👏
The thing is... after the Salim's engagement party. She sort of understood (and accepted) what Jodha meant for Jalal and that she had to give in. That she'd tried for three months to cheer him up but one meeting with Jo and he was back to being the old Jalal. Remember her statements there?
So while she might take her own time to warm up to Jodha, she understands that Jo is irreplaceable for her best friend. So she NEEDS to save Jodha for Jalal too... 😳
She'd always disliked Jodha because Jo is from a completely different plane to hers - but also because she knew Jodha would take her friend away from her. However, when she realized that Jalal was even WORSE without Jo - she chose the lesser of the two evils. Have a love-sick friend who's happy rather than a depressed friend!
Jalal's dream in blue was very very beautiful. The disgruntlement of a 12 year old at not being taken to the cricket match was very cute. It was quite touching that he saw his abbu in his dream who was going to leave him forever telling him that his dog wouldn't be with him for long either. His question that if he was supposed to take care of his Ammi, the house, office and his Taaya, then who would take care of him was very innocent. Then his Abbu pointed to a beautiful girl who was building something and after greeting him asked him if he wanted to help her. The boy in turn couldn't hold back from joining her and he had his father's consent too. His father was his guardian angel here. Guiding him to his soulmate. He had to go back for Jo. I guess that is why he came back. So that he could bring her back too. Am I right kya? This was the Awww moment. My second favourite part.😳😳
Yes dear.. you are right. 😊 A few more parallel-theories I'd put up for pallu... but I think you read those ones too
He wakes up after three days in a hospital. Phew!! He will be fine soon but. But he was troubled by the news that his Ammi didn't take the news well and had to go back to the anti-depressants to calm herself. He was every bit a caring son then even in that condition. This guy is GREAT.
He's been through that dark phase na... the post-abbu death phase.. he dreads his mother shouldn't go back to that! I think she nearly did!
As soon as he realized he had been unconscious for three days, he was overcome with worry about Jo.He inquired about her. He started fearing the worst when his friends were avoiding his concerned questions about Jo.Then the shock of his life- HIS GIRL was in coma.
HERE I CRIED FOR HIM.😭😭 AwwwWhat was this now? Hmm? Jo in coma! No... I wasn't able to digest that maybe Jo will end up losing her eye sight temporarily. Weird I know. Jo in coma calmed me down somewhat maybe because I am very sure Jalal will bring her back. It has to happen. Please if someone else on the thread is reading this too don't bash me for this. I am equally upset that my Jo is in coma.😭😭Hee hee dont' worry so much dear... 🤗 things will be fine!Superb update. This part made me proud of him all over again, I wanted to hug him and I cried for him too. All that you had mentioned to Varsha Di regarding the update did come true.Update the next part soon. Please please. I am very very eagerly waiting for Jalal to get Jo back and the happy times to start. New Beginnings! Wow!😃😉Love you dear🤗P.S. I have already made a few guesses Madam Lashy. 😆
