Shehenshah Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar wears only 3 costumes
the orange one, the black one and the purple one - done.
Jodha has been given such pathetic costumes. The baby pink and olive green are exactly same with similar borders and materials - guess the wardrobe person picked the tacky costumes up in some bargain basement "buy 1 get 1 free"
The blouses fitting is bad, threads can be seen coming out!
In the Shanti try to burn herself scene - Shanti's Sasu-ma was wearing the exact same border dupatta as a Khas Begum of Shehenshah Akbar!!!
Nowadays they mix and match old costumes for Jodha - change the border of dupatta, remove border of one ghagara to put it on another! The khyber track yellow ghagara made an appearance (back from the hut!) with a different border attached. Jodha is made to wear biscuit color ghagara, red blouse and green dupatta!
Do the No.2 serial on TRP charts has a wardrobe budget? Do they spend it ALL on costumes for SD, Ruk and others???
Even Zeenat got new costume in 1 week!
Has anyone noticed that SD gets elaborate embroidery work done jamas?
Nobody would have an issue at good costumes for support cast, please dress them ALL well, but what is their problem in giving new costumes to Jalal and Jodha?!

Jodha's hair and make-up - I just cannot leave this subject cos it is painful to watch a beautiful woman made to look like this!
It seems if make-up person is in the mood some scenes Jodha make-up is better. Just when we feel this - bang - next scene - out comes the pale purple lipstick and parallel lines eyeliner! The eyeliner parts company at the corner of eyes to run some distance like railway tracks!
It does not cost extra money to put on make-up right? They just use the same make-up box - then WHY WHY WHY???
Paridhi after wedding track with back combed hair with slight buffont - made her cheek bones look sharper and gave her face slightly oval shape. The bindi was also not trying to get nearer the hairline! The amazing make-up we could not stop looking at her!
Rajat's kohl seems to be applied by a person with extremely shakey hand!!!
Since they do not seem to be bothered with our feedback - how many times and for how many months Zee has got complaints about leads costumes and make-up? They don't care it seems. Only the support casts costumes get better.
So I am offering a suggestion - how about each week/fortnight one boutique or designer gets to supply costume to Jodha and Jalal both. They get mention after episode - today's Jodha and Jalal's costumes were sponsored by ABC Boutique! They get publicity and OUR Jalal and Jodha get better costumes! I am sure even some jewelers might be interested.
I see no other alternative - have to suggest this before Moti's costumes start turning out better than Jodha's! 😕😡
