mandy the syllabus for every state is different where education is concerned...i studied under Maharashtra state board syllabus and our history consisted of two parts one maratha era with emphasis on Shivaji and the second part was the pre and post Independence...hence such a statement makes no sense and they have tried such stunts before too with no effect...i actually learnt about Akbar in depth when i attended an exhibition on Discovery of India at Nehru Center and the books i read about the mughal era and Akbar specifically ..nothing to do with school syllabus...and those cannot be erased by anyone ...hence such impractical claims should not be given weightage at all
i see! interesting! but why make such claims in a democratic set up!..isn't it against the law😲
