Beautiful post Maddy😊 I loved yesterday's episode with great performances by Paridhi, Ashwini and RT, but I feel it was Paridhi's day yesterday and she was brilliant. She is a wonderful package of grace, beautiful face and smile, carries a film actress like aura and acting that is improving each and every day. She is rocking as Jodha and I applaud Ekta for perfect casting of Paridhi and Rajat in their respective roles.

I love Jodha and Jalal both but I do love Jodha more. Do you know I did not watch JA from start and started watching from Jinda Jala denge in DEK when Jalal was in rage and threatening to burn alive Jodha and her brothers (blamed for Ruk MC). Even under the veil the proud fierce fearless Jodha with hatred and derision filled eyes just captivated me. Then I caught up on all the back episodes.

I cannot get over the young barely out of teens woman in the Agra haram, who was betrayed by her own father and family, tricked into marrying the very man she despised and to face torture in Agra. To what life she has made now in Agra - she won everyone over with her "Jodha-ness". I love and admire her immensely.

Like I said in my last post that Jodha is doing all these not out of any compassion, sympathy or Pity for Maham Anga but for her Jalal and Jalal only... Jodha knows that somewhere down inside of this Sahensha who has put up an ignorant and indifferent attitude towards Maham Anga is the son for whom His Badi Ammi Was his God his most beloved person and his mother on whose lap he used to find peace and feel protected... So she is trying all that she can to bring out that Son so that Jalal would be able to live in peace and guilt free for rest of his life... Jalal is moving with a heavy burden on his heart.. Burden of the pain and hurt given by his Badi Ammi, burden of haterat for his Badi Ammi, burden of guilt for first taking the love and time of Maham Anga all for himself throughout all these years and depriving Adham Khan from his mother's love time and Upbringing, Burden of kill his Badi Ammi's son ruthlessly...

Loved this, how wonderfully put - it is all about Jalal for Jodha.
Jodha does have compassion for MA cos she sees a mother torn between two sons - a mother who felt to right the wrong done to her own son, it was ok to wrong the one who did nothing to deserve this from her.
Jalal put MA on pedestal higher than his own mother. Jodha sees Jalal needs to be freed from his guilt. Cos no matter he was not at fault ever - when it comes to mother figure he would never let go of guilt wondering if he had somehow failed MA.


JODHA IS THE BEST OF JALAL... She knows Jalal does not deserve to live with this heavy burden of his past.. And to let go this burden that son of Maham Anga needs to come out for one last time and wash off all the pain, hurt,haterat, anger anguish and guilt and regret from his heart so that he would be able to start his new life peacefully on a new slate only with pleasant memories of His Badi Ammi Jaan forgetting the painful and treacherous past and forgiving Maham Anga for all her Ill deeds... And the only way this can happen is if he goes to Meet his dying Badi Ammi who is desperately seeking him and his love...

Maddy I want to say a lot about MA, Jodha and Jalal but I am rationing my post and reserving all my feelings for a longer and detailed post which I want to write after tomorrow's episode...

Eager to read. Will try to make a thread tonight also.

Yes the quality of episodes has improved, more importantly it seems ABOUT Jodha and Jalal now NOT about vamps! MA has been glorified but we can see it is more FOR Jalal.

It was Jodha's and Paridhi's episode yesterday, even thought she hardly spoke a dialogue in scene with MA, it was she who remained in mind. Ashwini and Rajat were fabulous too, only his eyes spoke.

I understand that Maham's crimes are unpardonable. It was frustrating to watch her get away with murders because JJ were either blind or too kind. But, I'll repeat what I texted last week...rules of punishment change when a person is on their deathbed. It is unethical to mistreat or be negligent towards a dying person. Everyone deserves a death with dignity. It is not our place to punish them anymore. And I am glad that JJ are sticking to their ethics and not being vindictive towards a grieving, suffering, elderly, slowly dying woman.

Jodha was not really there at all, it was all about a mother and son and the ruins their relationship lies in. The pain of betrayal and hurt the son carries and the love and guilt the mother carries. Still it belonged to only Jodha.

Cos ONLY Jodha could understand both and feel the pain of both. The stated without hope final wish of the mother and the letting go off bitterness the son needs to find to heal his hurts.

When MA poured out her heart to Jodha - it was only the mother - the Vazir was forgotten. At the end of her life all she wants is for her son to call her Badi Ammijaan one last time.

Jodha just listened and let her talk and still after the episode I only remember Jodha. When MA talked about loving Jalal and neglecting Adham the guilt about Adham that made her betray Jalal. It was just a mother-to be Jodha listening and empathizing with another mother.

MA did not beg but she indirectly pleaded with Jodha, cos in her proud but helpless state she still knows there is only one person who can bring her son Jalal back to her.

The wife Jodha who understands the pain and hurt her husband carries in his heart, the betrayal will stay with him always because he really loved the woman he put above his own mother.

Jodha did not try to put down anything MA did against Jalal, nor did she raise anything MA did for Jalal. She was just gently reminding Jalal that this was the time for the son to make peace with the dying MA forgetting the bitterness that was fighting the love inside him.

If he did not do this then the pain of the ruined relationship will always fester inside him.

MA at the end of her life finally found only the love for Jalal that had got buried under the blind greed for power, the arrogance of the influence she derived from him and the evil manipulations that came to be part of her being - cos the arrogance led her to believe she owned him. Now there is a slight hint of her crimes just to understand that she has left no rights on her son to even ask for him to call her mother one last time.

How much Jodha understood her pain and how much she realized that Jalal needed to see this - to call her Badi Ammi one last time - not for MA cos she will get her peace or not - but for Jalal. Cos the betrayal that is eating him inside, the hurt at the curses to his unborn babies that are consuming his thoughts will finally be let go.

Cos Jalal needs to see the mother he always loved one last time so he will not be left with any guilt, it was NEVER anything he did wrong - it was cos MA chose wrong.

Jodha was so loving so understanding of Jalal's pain, she knows that he does not deserve to be left with this pain all his life. Not for MA but for his sake he has to let go of the bitterness so he finds peace.

Jodha was not there at all but only she was. Cos the mother son are so lost that it was only Jodha who can find them. Jodha could understand both their pains cos it needs a pure large heart to do this.

When Jalal got tears in his eyes she felt his pain, when he walked away in tears Jodha cried for him. Cos she understands how much he is fighting the hurt inside which his tears are washing away. Jodha desperately wants Jalal to meet MA cos only then can he find peace.

It was only about mother and son but I only remember Jodha.


Paridhi, Rajat and Ashwini all were so super today. I hope they know how much we love them.

I love Paridhi's voice it is so soft and soothing. Today only Rajat's eyes spoke.

fabulous post Medha 👏👏..and i second every word you have written...and loved how you have put in jodha in between yet she was never there...so true...she just laid down to form that bridge for jalal to cross and reach his badi ammi...she became that compass that guides you when you are lost in a sandstorm...both MA and Jalal needed her ..and she was there yet she was the voice and distress of that dying mother ,the kind compassionate jodha beghum ...PS was brilliant ...the writers and cvs finally realized that the show is alove story and RT and PS are the leads...they have given so much into jodha and jalal this week and improved the show in all departments that after ages am looking forward to another episode...even RT without much words was so fine in his expressions from anger to denial to hurt to pain ...and Ashwini rocked...going to miss her a lot ...indeed an era ends today...and what an ending...she finally accepts the one person she swear never to accept...coz that one person was the only one who held her while she stumbled whereas the whole Agra was a mute spectator ...the love story that was lost is suddenly visible to me ...
