A mini celebration is called for I think. The typical misunderstanding was again brewing between JJ, but the pattern was neatly broken. This is what I call progress. A few days ago I said that Jodha's visits to Maham Anga may not have been explicitly sanctioned by Jalal, but he would understand her need to do it. They would be in sync, although the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
'You did what your heart told you to do. But maybe you don't know how much I love you and our children.'
"I know..."
"Why do you again and again make me ask why why why did you do this?" 😆😆
but now finally Jalal has understood that Jo always has concerns and worries that live outside this tight circle of Hum Do Humare Do. Sigh...sigh... the wisdom of Jalal has checkmated the CVs menacing MU cycle. ...umm...I mean...the CVs have checkmated themselves!
Now Jalal is an expert on Jodha and gives us the short version of her character sketch - 'You have a big heart and you do what you consider to be your duty'
but ...but ... Maham Anga and humanity are strange bedfellows. Jalal is quite sure about this, so sure, that it's said like it's the Law of Gravity. So now, rather than arguing, he prefers to remove the problem and send it away to Delhi. Before this can happen, a reconciliation will happen, so that what was a problem to him and a humanitarian concern to Jodha, gets resolved. CVs again neatly reconcile not just JJ and MA but Jalal's pov and Jodha's.
There were still moments in the episode where old habits die hard. :-
