Divi beautiful I have no words to describe such nice post the songs raag all si good and my knowledge of ragaas are less compare to u but I love musicand akdha alot
for me both are same
where music has no language weather whatever language song is you understand the rhythm beautifully and akdha are same for me

Naino main badra chaye bijori mi bhi chamke haaye
aise main sajan mohe garva lagaaye

jodha jalal felt the pull towards without even seeing eachother or meeting destiny had already set which no one would ever dreamt of or believed

Kismat se tum humko mile hi kaise chodenge ye haath hum naa chodenge
armaanon ki zanjeeron ko janam ab na todenge

there loves is so rhythmic when ever jodha putting lep on him I felt she playing piano or guitar fingers playing with some instrument

Saaze de dil ched de kya haseen raat hai
kuch nahi chahiye bas tera saath hai

Music and nature always go together jodha akbar here also they bnd eachother so beautifully
rains and akdha are always together

Sawan ke jhule pade tum chale aao
aanchal na chode mera pagal kare hai pawan

Jodha saving jalal in tiger attack and that rain seq those talks abt how king is alone and the horse riding and ltr hi blood on her forhead as sindoor

kahe tose sajna ye tohri sajaniya paag pag liye jaaon tohri balaiyaa
Rahe aapne dhun main magan more saayiya pag pag liye jaao tohri baliya
main jag ki koi reet na jaano maang ka tohe sindoor maano
tohi chudiya mori tohi pejaaniya pag pag liye jaao tohri baliyaan

First time jalal felt someone is for him only not his position only for him the passion in him speaks volume

tum jo mil gaaye ho toh ye lagta hai ke jahan mil gaya
ek bhatke hoye raahi ko carvaan mil gaya

love get stronger when time tests in jodha akbar faced that crucial junction

will update more in few min

Ok, so I have read and liked your post.

First criteria ... complete.

Read the part 2 5 times, just to guage my own feelings and trying to form a response for such a magnificent post

Oh thanks so much 🤗 I am touched you would take so much effort.

I am just speechless Divi,👏 what can I say, this is not the kind of posts I am used to.

Oh thanks so much .. this means a lot

So very quickly, the scenes that came to my mind, while reading about the posts.

Pahaari - The scene where an indulgent Jalaal looks at his Jodha beghum knee deep in harem responsibilities. Though, there was nothing playful or pensive about this scene, it needs a lot of security on a man's part to appreciate the fact that there would be times when, he wouldn't be the center of Universe for her. And yes the scene after it was playful indeed.

Oh what a unique scene choice ... he was so proud of her ... and it was the first time Jodha ran after him as she missed him ...

Bhimpalasi - The first sword fight, though Jodha's passion wasn't as evident as Jalaal's, this scene did figure in her mind, while she thought she was dying after drinking Ben's poison. Batti jali zaroor thi, bas thodi late thi...

Kya connection hai ... yes the sword fight was awesome ... she just didn't want to admit her feelings ... but as they say in a near death situation it comes together

Khamaaj - The FB scene by Yamuna river, while the tiny tiff between Jalaal and Jodha made it playful, the casual ease between Jalaal and Jodha, heretofore, never shown, made it romantic.

Oh yes ... that was so nice. And we were wondering where they managed to have such a nice casual scene without us

Yaman - The confrontation during Sujamal track. Jalaal was gloriously majestic, and all that violence, indicated the extent to which he felt betrayed, because truly, he had thought, that for him, Jodha was the one for him. In case of Jodha, of course, when she drank poison for Jalaal.

Oh yes ... it was one of the most majestic performances of Jalal ... and yes the vishpaan was the same for Jodha

Desh - The scene, where Jalaal joins TM to fight the bandit during the Badal-Kajri track. The fact, that, Jalaal was itching to fight, because, he couldn't just stand by and leave a man to his fate, the very same man, who had aided his enemy, was indicative of the fact that he would always help a person, no matter who he was, and the fact that Jodha helped him take the decision, showed that she would do the same.

Awesome! Awesome! Dil khush kar diya ... hamara TM! Yes, it was fantastic partnership and commitment to people in that moment

And brilliant selection of songs...👍🏼

Thanks so much Raksha! Loved the scenes that jogged your mind

Neki par chale "

Beautiful song ... wow, I am so glad my post inspired so many people to do research with Mr. Googl
e

Now if you see from JA perspective this is Jodha 's song.As she always believes in what this song says. She is a believer in this theory that I am god's child and I have to always do good work or "Neki" irrespective who is in front of me.As when I die ,I will happily close my eyes with no baggage to carry next birth. She is good to Ruku or Maham ,who have always plotted against her.Even too an animal like Khyber.
And now look at this song from MA 's POV.MA was all her life behind power. To get what she wanted she used all means ,even killed people. She forgot someone above is the most powerful,But in the end what happened ?,the person for whom she did all this died.Today that person whom she hated the most is caring for her .In the end when she dies ,she will be in the arms of that little boy whom she misused all her life but he always loved her unconditionally more than his mother.
Had for few moments ,MA realized her mistakes long back, had she ever thought about Almighty ,the story would have been different today. Now she goes from his world with a guilt too that had she been fair to this lovely couple Jajo ,she could now face the lord .

Absolutely! 👏 What a beautiful description of Jodha and MA ... very relevant in the past week as we have seen the Jodha-MA interactions

Divya, brilliant post. You ve done some indepth research on all scenes & their moods in relation to raagas. Let me confess that though I have had some training in both vocal carnatic & veena playing, am an aragura gnanasuniyam bcos both were aborted in the early varnam stage itself unfortunately. Anyways, what I mean to say is my raaga knowledge is quite limited & Hindustani raagas am not that familiar though I ve listened to them too. I d have liked to write too some of the scenes I liked in JA connecting them to raagas, but now, JA just doesn't hold that same magic or inspiration for me & also, I admit, am too lazy to think & write about it 😆 . But I really really appreciate the amount of time & energy u ve spent on giving us this beautiful ragamalika post 👏 😳 .

Thanks so much Gayathri ... if you got to varnams, you know Bhairav / Mayamoulavagowla 😆
