i know there r a lot of talks as to whether this practice is not done and so on but i will tell u one live example within my relatives itself. I frankly speeking dont understand how my cousin sis could do so or agree with her decision but she had twin boys first and her sister in law didnt have any kid so when she became pregnant again they decided that if it was a girl they would keep the child but if it was a boy again then they would let her SIL adopt the baby and it turned out to be a boy which she gave up to her SIL after 5 days of being born. i being a mother myself cant imagine giving up my child to anyone but all i wanted to show that this is done quite frequently in our country even in this century.
