hi guys. Mansi, fabulous take on the jodha jalal scene. I knew you would be able to do full justice to the scene and that is why i requested you for the detailed analysis. The scene was fabulous and your comments made it epic!!!😊 You have described the scene so well and covered almost everything. So i have nothing much to say. So i will just go chracterwise
Jalal:
He was a person who had lost everything he had. He felt betrayed in every way and was wondering the cause of why only he had to face this constant betrayal in his life. You are right mansi. Maham's curse worked like a pandora's box and let everything out. He had this stored inside him for a very long time. He had to get it out to be able to get over the past betrayals and learn from this. This will lay the foundation of the new Mughal Empire, where the treacherous mughal blood of his relatives will be replaced by the loyal people from different religions and talented people over the world. This is the first step taken by him which will help him to become Akbar The Great who was the greatest ruler hindustan ever had. Again, he found the cause of betrayal as the takht as you rightly said and tried to do away with it. He considered it the reason due to which his relatives backstabbed him. But when he is in a better state emotionally, he will realise that he must keep the people who have the same vision as him for the country as they will never backstab him for the takht. The true followers of a leaders vision stay with him till their last breath, like how people stayed with Gandhi till he very end and were willing to sacrifice their life for him. He will develop the sense of judging people due to this hard time he has undergone.
Jodha:
Well she did everything she could and did it in the most perfect way. I think jodha understood finally the reason why jalal kept saying that he was lonely finally. She now knows about his past how everybody left him or turned against him. She must also have figured out why he declared to everyone that he did not have a heart as he must have thought that all the pain comes from the heart. So if he didnt have feelings or develop closeness with anyone, he wouldn't face the pain of heartbreak. She beautifully reached out to him in his moment of distress and cuddled him in her arms telling him that he was not alone ever and she will always be there for him. Jalal knew that she loved him and also unconditionally as he got to know from the ben and atifa track. But the fact that she would always stand by him and love him forever assured him that he had finally met the person who he had longed for all his life who loved him and not the king in him. His mother hamida's words have come true what she had told him just before ben track ended. Today, when he has gained jodha' love his emptiness is filled and he slept in her arms like a tired child curls up in his mather's lap.
Maham:
Well i just dont know what to say about this psychotic woman and as I said, I dont feel an ounce of sympathy. I believe i the concept of karma and you maham have got it back for keeping jalal childless. I dont understand the extreme Maham obsession by the creatives. They could have continued the jalal and jodha scene for longer like jodha takes jalal to her room and makes him lie down and caresses his head. But no we get MA screeching about the curse. I feel if cvs could have given us the NR of curse, then they well could have given a slap by jodha to maham!!
