I am too late..! Abhay..! 😳
I can't stop reading your post again and again..!! U can given that special IT reasoning too..! Take a bow for this interpretation and mindblowing analysis..!! 👏

In English, this means --

"Neither HE is born, nor does HE die at any time; HE has never been brought into being, nor shall come hereafter - unborn, eternal, permanent and primeval . When the body is slain, HE is not slain."

Here, "HE" refers to the SOUL...⭐️

Iam so sorry , I am running put of words..But this is really spellbinding to read your post..!! What a brilliant title..!! 👏👏

Looking forward your posts for upcoming episodes..too 😳

Splendid Job👏👏👏
Every frame in the episode was really beautiful, every scene having its own depth and meaning.😳
I am just speechless. I am not finding any words to put forth my views here. I am just trying to convey in the manner possible below. Hope you like it--😊

Your post makes me remember one quote--

Spiritual relationship is far more precious than physical. Physical relationship divorced from spiritual is body without soul.

--Mahatma Gandhi

Indeed this is going to be, from now, THE REAL journey of Jodha and Jalal. Till now, it is just a small facet, and the latter would be the REAL PHASE. The same is the thing implies and implied by the Bhagavad Gita shloka recited by Jodha😊

Man learns through experience, and the spiritual path is full of different kinds of experiences. He will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and they are the very experiences he needs to encourage and complete the cleansing process.

--Sai Baba

And it is in this difficulties that Jodha will become his STRENGTH...which is very much different from becoming SAHARA as of whom Jalal was talking about😉

Great men are they who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force - that thoughts rule the world.

That is the reason why we have seen Shehenshah Jalaluddin Muhammed Akbar (justfication of Akbar- the Great😉)ruling the Hindustan and becoming a LEGEND⭐️.

As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world as in being able to remake ourselves.

--Mahatma Gandhi

The more he REMAKED himself, you know in what way I mean, then had he seen the most awaited desire of his getting fulfilled.😊

Jodha's dialogue---

"You have me! With or without the takht and taaj I am always yours till I die. I want you and not your power. Nothing will happen to us or our children. I love you for yourself. This Jodha will always be with her Shahenshah. You will never be alone as long as I live."(translation credit to Mansi)

These words delivered are most beautiful words of assurance and solace I have ever listened. This embarks upon their real SAATH in EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, no matter what.

Spirituality does two things for you. One, you are forced to become more selfless, two, you trust to providence.

I would like to stress upon the latter here because the former needs no emphasis as THESE TWO PURE LOVING SOULS have always been SELFLESS (leaving aside the reason of this marriage being a political alliance, anyway that is immaterial now). It is this trust that has given them that COURAGE to face anything TOGETHER in life, this is the same trust on God about which Jodha was talking about in her conversation with Maham Anga.

I just loved the way CVs have shown Jalal finding SOLACE near Jodha. I think it is IN THIS WAY they would find SOLACE in EACH OTHER after the death of twins.

P.S: I am also waiting for the unveiling of sequence. Let's see how beautifully the CVs would showcase them.Fingers Crossed**

Lasya
,

It seems everyone has found perfect symphony today..Such flawless flow of ideas today here...I have not read so many beautiful posts at one place before this...Very beautifully summarized...I have no words to elaborate here...The Post is Well-Articulated with an Emphasis on Spirituality...
Esp. liked the lines in Red and also about "she" becoming "his" strength... Even i wait for the sequence to UnVeil... Keep Posting..😊...

Ayushi,

Earlier, I also thought the same about that Shlok...
I had to watch that scene 5-6 times, to understand...At first i could not get anything...I especially heard this Shlok from Jodha multiple times, because somehow i felt that there is a purpose to mention it..It means more than a "normal" prayer...Later, searched the explanation from Gita..

It was a prayer to the Divine.. Since the Jiva(Soul) can not be destroyed , and someday the Deh(Body) has to depart from this world(Bhulok) , hence there is NO need to Grieve for what is inevitable...Just depend on the Karma...And, a request to Rise above the illusions of birth and death...

The exact Lines are --

jasthasya hi dhruvo mrthyur dhruvam janma mrthasya cha |
thasmad apariharyethe na thyam sochithum-arhasi ||

Meaning --
Death is certain to one who is born; and to one who is dead, birth is certain
, hence it is not required to grieve for what is unavoidable.!!.

BTW, Jodha's reactions were on similar tangent..Did you see, Jodha wiped away her tears, clearly INLINE with the above explanation that grieving is NOT needed...Ofcourse, CV's can take a U-turn anytime and make her weep bitterly..😉 But, in that shot, that moment, everything justified the essence of mentioning that Shlok...Hence, i could connect BOTH these Shloks to the scene..

PS --- I am writing about this because, it was shown in the SERIAL , thanks to the Creatives.!!.
PPS -- Rashmi mentioned a Shlok, which is also another beautiful explanation of the same, and just speaking/reciting those lines is an amazing experience in itself...Try Once..

**************************************************************************

On a separate Note, What are your views on Maham's Curse...
I have mentioned my views on this above..!!.

Abhay thanks again for the wonderful thread. Yet to catch up on all the posts.

Above red line in bold really intrigues me.
My knowledge is very scarce but isn't it said that after going thru "84 dash laksh births as different species" a being takes birth as a human being. After taking birth as human, the karma of this life the paap and punya of each birth decides how we take birth in the next life - still as human being. Again scratchy knowledge but Gita says that each birth is like the soul shedding its old clothes.

This cycle can go on till one attains "moksha" freedom from this cycle.
So in this context how can one say with surety that "one who is dead birth is certain". Isn't it depending on the karma whether we take rebirth or not?

Also what if a person is so full of sins that he does not deserve rebirth as a human being? What about heaven/swarg or hell/narak? If this cycle of rebirth is to go on how can being go to swarg or narak? Have you read any shloks about this?

Btw Abhay beautiful post.I am short of words to describe how much I liked it. 👏Sorry for the late reply

Rashmi

Such a divine shlok - it's similar in thought to what Jodha had spoken. 😊

@bold: just a small correction: should be "kledyatyaapo"

akledya meaning not to be wet, and apah meaning water. The line means (it)cannot be moistened by water (not fire again).

Sorry to come in, but shlokas have to be enunciated correctly - only then the divine energy/power contained in them is released properly. 😊

Hi Purani. I have read many of your posts on Maddy's Sunday Special Thread..I like the Depth of your writings. Post more often now..

It is true that Jodha's recitation is for the benafit of others. In Hinduism that is how dead is viewed. The process of dead is like moving out of one old house and continue journey to find new on to live. So the body can be dead and decay but the soul will move on. This true meaning and this realization is more important to people present there more than the departing one. So that the grieving one can let go the love on to rest in peace.

We are exactly on same Page as far the meaning of the Shloka is concerned..
I replied exactly the same to Ayushi... Link:: 112560226 😊

Now regarding JA, this what I wrote in Mansi's thread. For the few episode it become a emotional roller coaster for both Jalal and Jodha. Their personal life and public life has meet a turning point where from now on. The past is fading and future is rising. He lost one by one his closed one who he thought truly loves him. He also realized that the center for all this is his taakhat. But will get everything and many more because of him or his self not due to takhat. This detachment is much needed to be Akbar the great for his family and people. Till today many leaders who rules some how thinks that it belongs to them and sometimes the power blinds them which leads to destruction. Here I'm not telling that Jalal was not a good king but he is in his journey to become the great. This greatness cannot be achieve in one day but from years of experience. Life is the most excellent teacher. He was not selfishly attracted the taaj but there is some kind of feeling of mine. And he realized that it is making him loose everything and he does not want it but could not throw it either. So he burn the symbol of his power. Now on he will be make him not to believe people blindly, not to make ministers out for gratefulness of past or family relation but ministers based on merit. A can rule properly only when he has capable advisers around him. And for Jodha she is slowly getting ready to be the queen of Hindustan by going through the same crash course Jalal is going through.

Very well said.!.A quote says - "Life is the BEST School..God is the BEST Teacher.. Problem is the BEST assignment.. Whether you fail or succeed it will be an experience.. " Coming to Jalal-Jodha, an individual is in a state of constant learning..Same is happening with them...Both are Young Couple, barely 22... They are still growing as an Emperor and as an Empress.!!..

Their personal life too had a turning point. They are already united but the soul level union made its completion. When he found that he was all alone she came to say i'm here. This one gain supersedes all his loses including Agta sahab coz now he can let got of him, realizing that AK will be always be there for him as guardian angle showering blessing. He will get his mother who is willing to stay apart from him for his safe future, loving him truly. So to fully let got Maham he have to let go the feeling of in dept and guilt. The curse will serve this purpose. It will pain him alot and will pain her more when the babies dies. But that is their last assessment which they have to go through. But they will also be blessed with many kids later. He will get a family though Jodha, her family, which he always dreamed off. Brother in laws who are willing to give their life for him. Most importantly he had, has and will always have her, his heart and now his soul.

The recently concluded trackS are definitely a turning point..Jalal has to come out as an independent individual, especially this signifies HIS growth as an Emperor, and the fall of Petticoat Govt. , which will make him free from all influences, will have a long lasting change in our show... Jodha has realized her requirement as an emotional anchor to her husband...I really liked that scene where She did not let her attention off from Jalal yesterday whilst he was in extreme suffering in that Last Scene...It was a WATERSHED MOMENT for JA..

Apart from Akdha scene, there was another matter which connect to it. Maham's curse. Well for me I never liked her even when she fainted other day, she for once held my attention, thats it. Now she is annoying as ever and i'm going to take lightly. Well many are saying how can she do that. She herself had killed Jalals unborn babies. I'm not surprised cos I was anticipating it to come. May be it did not happen in history but happening in serial is normal for me. Maham always says that she loves Jalal and we thought she fooling people around her and us.We even asked what kind of love is this. But the truth is she also been fooling herself all this while. Jalal killing Adham is like alarm clock waking her from her false jalal love slumber. That is why she cursed JJ's babies. Moreover, a criminal is a criminal after all. Here I want to tell a small story. I did attachment in court and I witnessed an cross examination of two minors(illegal maids from thailand). They were telling that they are tourist and blah blah and I accept it as truth thinking one cannot lie in court. Later the investigating officer told me a very different story(they jump over the border wall to enter illegally). I later talked to a judge regarding this and he answered that a criminal is a criminal, it is our mistake if we anticipate them to act good(not to lie). So Maham being even more evil is noting new but perfectly inline with how true criminal will react. That is why even while mourning her sons death she can only think of taking revenge. The way their mind works is very different and it is hard to understand. About Maham not seeing that she has already killed many life before. Well she has not changed at all. She can only accept her crimes only when he realize what she had done. And I dont know when this will happen. I predict that she will come up with even more evil plan and might make Ruks her co-conspirator. Well Maham is not leaving us any time soon😕.

I agree with your assessment on MA...I have almost similar words...She behaves as if she is suffering from "Multiple Personality Disorder". Or more like a psychopath. And, yesterday was an OTT act. It was sheer idiocy on Maham's Part(I mean CV's ) that she invokes the "Divine" to "Curse" JJ's Kids.. I mean HOW she think that her Wish will be granted by the Almighty.?. I wrote something in this regard at this Link. 112559946 , including Radhika's take also.

Yes , i too feel, Maham is here to Stay, and i think she will be used by the CV's to bring about Ruqs downfall (?.Though, i don't know how, if at all, CV's plan to do this using MA, because as per reality MA's hand was not there in Ruqs downfall. Here we are watching Dramatized Version..I wish MA is not used to carry on Ruqs downfall...)

Now Jodha. I loved her alot yesterday. She was very strong. She will be definitely hurt by Maham's curse but she did not believe it and that can be seen in her confrontation scene with Maham. And why is she not taking it seriously because she the one person who knows and seen the true face of Maham. Maham never masked and hide in front of Jodha. She has trust in god. Then why does the children died making Maham wish true. Well it is not necessary that the curse is the reason. There are many real reasons like Jodha having suffered physically, mentally and emotionally before and will in future too. But then again she will be broken and believe that the curse is the cause when the kids dies. It's very natural to think that way. But why us viewers should think that way. We know it is miracle that her children are alive still after all the torture and the curse is just a sign of future.

Not only you, Purani..I think the Entire Forum Loved Jodha yesterday, and i for one was very happy, because i have always imagined Jodha as an emotional anchor to Jalal, and always wanted the CV's to give a spiritual dimension to their relation, which they will give slowly(i hope so.)

She was rock solid yesterday..Stood besides her husband..And i hope in future when they lose their Kids she is present there and keeps faith in her God, that all this NOT due to MA's curse.!!.

P.S I'm glad that some one remembered that Jodha is pregnant. At least now the Agra people should treat her like one. Take care of her, make her happy and pamper her. I'm so long to see it.

I burst into laughter reading this...Yeah..It seems the Entire Agra has forgotten that she is pregnant...Similar to the case of Bakshi Bano...Let hope for some pampering, if possible..

Replied in Blue above..Nice post Purani.. 😊

Aanchal,

I am waiting for how the CV's show this part...

1.
I mean, will they show JJ accepting the Curse and show them doing "PaschyaTap" due to Maham's Curse. 😕 🥱
Because yesterday, Jalal was very teary infront of Tarazu, while thinking about MA's Curse..

OR

2.
They will show Jodha having faith in her God, and NOT accepting the theory of Curse, because she DID GIVE back Strongly to MA, that her Curse won't affect the Mughal Sultanate...

I am optimistic here, and i have a reason...Jodha has emerged as Jalal's strength, And her stand before MA was on similar Lines...So, i think option 2 will be used..

Specifically about Jodha I understand the place where you have described her character to be : -

Courage, which I could sense in Jodha...Rumi puts it as follows- "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear." And that moment, Jodha's Judgement about Jalal Prevailed over ANYTHING which was present in HER.

this is not the easiest thing to do, but circumstances also coaxed Jodha towards this and when she yielded to it, she became magnificent. This is not the kind of courage needed in a battle field. This is something that demands a living death that may not end for a while. But she has taken the plunge. Who is sufficient for such things except that God lends His strength.

Padbear,

I simply loved the lines in bold. 👏

Reminds me of the quote:

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Like Lasya mentioned, JJ have now put their trust in Providence / Almighty. And this trust in God will take them through all the good times and the bad, as if they are a single soul.😊

Indeed very beautiful post asusual,abhay.
Today's episode was terrifically beautiful. At the real time Jodha has become the biggest strength for Jalal. When ever nobody had gut to handle Jalal, Jodha came before Jalal as cool water to put off his inner fire, his inner agony n we watched how much peacefully Jalal went to sleep in Jodha's arms when she was consoling him to pour her whole love on Jalal. Director n both leads deserve esteem for giving us such spectacular meaningful lovely scene b/w husband-wife. I applaud to Jodha for standing strongly before maham against her baad dua.

Beautiful Summary Nabiii... Seems Jo-Ja scenes were Universally Loved by all yesterday..
Hope they continue it... 😊

Hey Abhay lovely post as always. Spec. Love the title. I loved the jodha n akbar bonding scene the most coz for the first time as u said it showed that as just loving each other without expecting anything in return. I just have a problem with cv showing Mahamanga cursing as now when the kids will die or salim will turn rebellious v will think of Mahamanga and how she finally won. How can they show evil winning?
I just hope that ur this thread is not closed due to any reason by the authorities. Pls pp refrain from writing anything outside the topic this time coz i want to be able to read all the wonderful thoughts n views pp have with the amazing thoughts n analysis put forth by Abhay.
