The contrast between good deeds and has been beautifully depicted👏

A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds.

In the precap, Maham Anga's has taken out her angst by cursing the death of the twin babies.I just dont' know what to say here, because the situation has two sides.
Her situation just reminds me of a saying-

We are punished by our sins, not for them

That's a beautiful quotation!ClapClapClapClap

I don't think they will start a new track today. They will cash in on more jalal trauma and Jodha support. I feel maham anga in her absolute need to hurt jalal more may blurt out her other misdoings like the ruk MC just to peeve him off. Then comes the twin bad dua that will shatter him completely, thus the throne burning etc. Today will be another emotional day at Agra.

BTW although they are not following history here, I think the evil eye on twins by Badi ammi was a clever route for the CVs to take. Now we know the poor boys will die how and why and know exactly who the culprit is.

Yes indeed maybe that promo scene will come today when Jalal burns the takht and taaj out of the agony of loneliness and Jodha is there to support him through his tears!

Today's episode was a sombre one with all the mahal wasis in mourning . For all those who were cursing Jodha for her indifferent behavior towards Jalal , I hope Jalal's reaction today , to his own reflection , gave them the reason for Jodha moving away from him . The manner in which he washed away all the blood from his body also symbolized the washing away of a sinner's blood from himself . He wailed crying for the lost father figure Atgah saab . Rajat was superb as usual .

Whatever sympathy I had for Mahamanga yesterday and until the first half of today's episode , vanished after I saw the precap . I am appalled that the Creatives actually included such a horrible dialogue . She who ruined Jalal's chances of becoming a father ( prior to Jodha's pregnancy ) has finally been punished by getting a taste of her own medicine . Instead of realizing that she is paying for her own horrendous deeds , she is shown as cursing Jalal and Jodha . Its all the effect of Naatakiya Roopantar . I am hoping that the Creatives do not give her curse any importance . She is a mega sinner . Will her curse work ? It most certainly should not .

Sharifuddin was present with his sarcastic evil smirk today . Bakshi Bano was also seen mourning for Atgah saab . I'm wondering why she still hasn't delivered . Extended pregnancy I guess . She needs to learn a few lessons from Javeda by standing up for the right cause . Instead of being nasty to Jodha ( for no fault of hers ) , she needs to expose her husband's lecherous ways to her brother . I can't wait to see Jalal beat up Sharifuddin .

This is the irony of people who cannot see their own faults! Maham is a classic case of one who conveniently forgets what she did to others. Some sort of selective amnesia!

Very nicely written analysis for a very emotional episode. I loved the way you described the moments and emotions between Jalal and Jodha.

She realised his need and became her shadow, but she also gave him space to get a grip on himself and the grief. Often in case of a personal grief, we let the person to be by himself and just stay around. Jodha just did that with a lot of maturity. It's ok a lot of people might not understand her actions, but it was absolutely right for that moment. She will be there as the shadow till the time he needs her physical help.

Precap was really unnecessary and painful, but we have to go through it, no matter what..

Take care...

You have said in just a few clever sentences what I have tried to write in about 600 words. Fantastic insight!

By the way just loved your view about this scene..
I too think this scene was beautifully depicted...😊

Thank you. And don't even think again and again about any negativity. Why spoil your mind and mood by your own hand?

The episode was good the haman scene was very well picturized.
We could feel Jalal's pain. The way Jodha realised his anger and feelings was also good

I think they were going overboard with Maham hysterics
But it is all building up to the twins death . Sad but they are following history

Ashwini has been a very good actress with great TRP pulling power. I am sure the Creatives want to give her some very powerful scenes to wind up her role soon. So its not a case of just heavy histrionics, she deserved to show her full colours!

Such a brilliant piece of writing Mansi Di specially Jodha Jalal part... I agree there are certain pain, and certain parts of us which we don't want share with anybody... What Jodha did yesterday is the exact same thing which my mother does when I am in such vulnerable condition..

I have always hated MA but being a human I couldn't stop myself from feeling for that mother who has lost her son... I had lump in my throat when she was singing that Lori for Adham... But all my sympathy for her went out of the window as soon as I saw the Precap... The Precap reminded me of the curse given to Krishna Ji by a mother wwho has lost her 100 sons in the battle of Kurukshetra...
Even Gandhari's sons were Adharmi and even they were punished for their Paap... That abhishap was given from the aching heart of a mother and Krishna Ji even though being the Parambramha could not avoid the effect of that curse...and going by history we know even Jalal Jodha has to bear the effect of the curse...

P.S. I don't understand why does these show makers promote these kind of superstitions... Don't they have a minimum sense of responsibility towards this country... In every nook and corner of the country is infected by these superstition and these makers adds fuel to the fire...God when is this industry going to show something progressive...

The difference between the two dead were shown very beautifully... On one side there Is Atga Sahab who died a death of a valor, dignity and honour and on the other side there was Adham who died a death of a sinner, a Bagi
.. On one hand there is Atga Sahab for whom every single person in the Agra Palace is mourning and praying for his soul and on the other hand there is Adham for whom there is no one in the palace even to pay a little reverence... On one hand there is Atga Sahab who will be remembered as as a valiant Soldier, a loyal Prime Minister, a caring Artaliq and a loving father and Husband. But on the other hand there is Adham who will be remembered as a traitor, a murder, a sinner and a spoilt Brat... One gave his family a life of dignity and honour where they will leave with their heads held high after his death and the other gave his family a life of shame and pitty and his wife has to live with a guilt of the signs committed by her husband...

It was a sad episode and I felt Jodha was justified in her reaction and Jalal realised his action from her reaction and it gave way to his angry vent in the hamam and then he calmed down...And Maham's outburst tomorrow--Its ll an indication to the impending twins death..May be they will give a closure to Maham's character...And then proceed to the small leap and show us the kids...

Lovely post Surochita, I especially loved that point you made that even your mother knows instinctively when to not intervene and to let you feel your vulnerability and come out of it yourself.
Also loved your comparison of Maham's curse to Gandhari's curse. And yes, you have elaborated the differences in deaths and Adham and Atga so very well! Congrats, this is a lovely post!👏👏👏
