that's the point. No insight into self, only an outward keeping score of what others did. Not her fault, she has been badly treated by parents re her marriage.

the tendency was there yes...not helped by the traumatic marriage drama where she hardened her heart and had to get through it.

That is a helpful perspective ... I wish the CVs had ever shown how she changed herself because of the wedding

I thought they did? ... her whole bubbly persona died and she took on the warrior mentality to survive the shock. It was a shocked and traumatised Jo there, not a cold opponent. She was scared witless and that always brings out the defensive posture of self righteousness, ghrina and every possible hissy fit. Protective mechanism.

Maybe I never saw her scared, shocked, and traumatized. I always felt there were fireworks in the first tent scene in Agra ... she was ready with a dagger, she refused to go sing for him ...

After he comes drunk and pushes her around, she goes to him to ask his help with parents
She fights back that she did not put mirchi in his food
She was not scared to save Moti
She was not scared when she was accused of Ruq's MC
She was not scared to accuse MA

You know maybe that is the issue ... I never saw Jodha as weak and never could

Hence her weakness really impacts me when I see it now

interesting. I always thought, she was scared for her future..staring into an abyss. But on a day to day basis, she grabbed anything involving others to keep her head above the water. Became a champion of others with a vengeance - graduated from saving pigeons to some big doings.

Ironically ... I actually felt she became the champion of others after she had Jalal's support

Ironically , the first save pashu pakshi was Mohan the tiger during the trip of Ajmer where she saw Jalal's spiritual side and we thought she was softening

Then by the save Tasneem project ... she trusted Jalal and said she no longer ghrinafied him

and then her save everyone project was with Jalal's support

Her character graph is the most confusing one I ever saw
