Agreed-the actions are similar. However, the intentions do make a difference even in court. And definitely on this show. I tend to lean towards action more than intention as well

Jodha cannot see Jalal drift to ONE atifa, while ruqaiyya has been seeing it all the time. Jodha too wants to be the one whom Shahenshah sabse adhik premofies. Par ruqs yahi kare tho it becomes a crime. Jodha cannot see her pati's nazar hat-ting from her and wants to go to Amer. Ruqs has nowhere to go and so does her best to oust Jodha.

Beautifully said!

I was prepared for the worst.

I loved it when she told jo ' hope you understand what it feels when you utaro from someone's dil'. Ruqaiyya has always been frank atleast to herself and there is no pretense. Jodha i find inspite of all her genuine goodness has a lot of vanity and ineptitude to self analyse. Pride, i don't mind. But vanity always has irked me. So ultimately i can like Jodha only as much as i like Ruqaiya and not more. So i always expect Jalal to treat his 2 wives alike.😕

CVs have destroyed our faith in characters 😆

To be frank, Sandhya, I can sympathise more with Ruqqu than Jo most of the times, so bad has the CVs managed to portray Jo for me

To be honest, I don't think Jodha's character is constructed to be pitied / sympathized ... she is extremely strong

The fact that we do that all the time in the forum is another story

You just nailed it Sandhya. So beautifully said.
I do not agree with all her actions but I feel she already got her punishment. I always had sympathy for Ruqs for the exact reasons you mentioned Sandhya.

Divi,
Again I loved the episode, the pace was good, and the bonus 5 minutes were put to good use.

Here are the scenes I loved,
1. Atgah - Jalaal flashback - This scene looked like a continuation of the confrontation scene during the shikaar trip. I loved the way Atgah caught Jalaal's lie, and Jalaal had no go but to admit the truth and include him in the plan.
2. The Eid celebration - It showed the festive cheer in the palace, now that the gloom was over. I loved the camaraderie between Atgah saab and Man Singh.
3. The apology to beghums - Each of the apology was tailor-made to the beghums, and I loved the one to Ruqaiyya, one could see the ease there.

The Jodha Jalaal scene -
I didn't really like a Jodha grinning ear to ear, thanking Kanha that she was the one whom Shahenshah loved the most. Um, not a good choice of words. I would have thanked the Lord for Shahenshah being hale and hearty and all, considering he had just come out of a saazish.
Now what I liked was that Jalaal was finally able to take everything off his chest (though not literally), and let Jodha know just how betrayed and sad he felt. And he was assertive about telling Jodha all that she needed to hear.
And Jodha, what was that query about his anger during Khy fiasco? What did they teach you at the pregnancy camp sweetheart?

And I would be a fool to expect ittu sa character growth in her after this. CVs, please note, her antics are alienating her to the audience by the day.

I just loved the CB khulasa, very tactfully done.

TM was left out because he didn't throw a divasque tantrum, and I think he was the only one whose equation with Jalaal didn't change during his nautanki.

As the promos suggest there will be more drama this week as well. And yes the scene I had jested about is fast approaching. 😆

Awesome post! 👍🏼

Yes, loved it so much I did a take 10

Lovely picks ... I also loved how each apology was tailor made. To be honest I thought the one to Ruqs was the cutest!

Rakha, a very honest assessment of Jodha. I feel half the time she suffers from bad dialogue writers as her intentions were in the right place. But, yes it is alienating at times.

I just loved the CB khulasa, very tactfully done.

And a very powerful punch

Yes, he was busy thinking about the welfare of the awaam instead 😳

Which scene were you jesting?

Awesome post! 👍🏼

Thanks! and lovely observations.
