Ela, when souls are connected through love, words have no meaning...it was Jo's ego which got hurt when Jalal declared love for Atifa, and she could not see beyond...I have always maintained that first of all, Jo has to let go of her ego, esp where Jalal is concerned...that ego which was her shield during the ghrina phase is now a barrier between the 2 which is not allowing her to surrender herself completely to him...( I dont blame her for this...it will happen with time.)

and Khushi, she mentioned ghrina even a few days ago somewhere, so yes, she isn't the type to let go of how she first got to Agra. It will take a lot of big moments to make her shift from being a political marriage partner to a completely surrendered lover...in fact I doubt Jodha can ever be that kind of lover. Is that a flaw. So be it.

as Rashmi pointed out once, she has suicidal tendencies as well. So she is battling her own problems and now trying to understand that she is enemy#1 in Agra and nearly got Jalal killed.

But both JoJa are quite aage-peeche in their love comparatively...Jodha sees her marriage as political one, I doubt Jalal has similar feelings, politics, but, was just a facet of their marriage, but for Jalal another very important aspect of their marriage, was also to own Jodha as his.

When the emotions for their relationship base is so different...they're bound to be different in expressing and accepting, love, faith, surrender, devotion, etc. wrt each other.

I am sorry khushi I disagree with you...You are trying to prove that Jo's ego got hurt not her heart...It means that those woman whose husbands insult them and absuse them and go to other woman, they should not object to it but instead surrender to their husbands...
