AFTER I WATCHED THE EPISODE:

Today was a beautiful episode for the shades of emotions and characters it showed of all the players.

it was indeed...it was more about relationships and emotions...a few happy ,many sad,some heartbroken yet holding on and some totally shattered...

1. Hamida Bano: Today showed what "grace under fire" was ... she wanted to try to resolve issues, asking Jalal to sort it out with Jodha alone, but as a true Queen she continued giving the Eidi to their subjects as her heart was burdened by the issues at home. She was also a timely support to Jodha ... and I think Jalal knew now that Hamida Bano would be a support to Jodha and that is why he left the room when Jodha arrived to speak to Hamida Bano. And what a beautiful support she was to her daughter.

she stood tall like a queen mother ,she always is there for her jodha and that is ahuge reassurance...just wished she would always stand tall as a mother...even she fails to see through her own son ...i really want jalal and her relationship to flourish ..she has stood by jalal in that ben behen track and i hope to see her understand her son now...

2. Ruqaiyya: Ruqaiyya today showed how jealousy can color one's viewpoint because today Ruqaiyya had no reason to be jealous of Jodha. Now that jealousy did not cloud her views, how poignant was the way in which she said her jealousy had made her never acknowledge Jodha's beauty ... both inner and outer.

Today, the way Ruqaiyya was burdened by Jodha's ehsaan ... I felt it unpeeled a few more layers of Ruqaiyya's character. She does not want to depend on or trust anyone ... it is how she has grown up. And that is why she gets suffocated by Jodha's ehsaan ... she is just not used to it.

there is a very vulnerable and scared woman behind that audha fixation ...and today we got a peep into her...all her life she clinged to the audha coz that gave her an identity ,a belief that jalal will be there for her till she is BEK but now everything is slipping away and as you said ,she is not comfortable being helped...hence the more jodha helps the more it angers her ..but right now she is too emotionally broken to be angry...

Now, the CVs will probably have amnesia and have Ruqaiyya flip flop ... but now it might actually make sense. Ruqaiyya 1 - that is clouded by jealousy and Ruqaiyya 2- who is an insecure woman, learned to distrust everyone but vulnerable in her own way.

there is not a shred of doubt about it😆😆..the reason cvs showed her pitying jodha is to make her fall hard on her pretty face...😆..she is going to get the biggest shock of her life and even regaining back her audha is not going to stop her from being miserably furious and that is going to push her over the edge...and then we shall see ruqaiyya version 3.0😆

3. Jodha: I know some expect Jodha to have faith in love ... but it is very difficult to do in the sight of what one sees and hears. She was asking the right questions on what suddenly changed? But, who would have imagined the reality that is?

jodha completely broke down before her after standing with dignity for so long...how long could she??she is numb and broken and confused and emotionally exhausted...any other person in her place would go into depression ...i just am in awe of her for the way she has conducted herself ...

In the Sujamal fiasco, we understood how Jalal was shaken by what he saw and heard ... I would request we should show the same understanding to Jodha.

we are forgetting..jalal confronts jodha...she gives a series of yes ..he throws her out at the middle of the night...here jalal has time and again come to her and confessed ...and no i do not expect jodha to disbelief that...she is as human as rest of us ...and there relationship is at its nascent stage just started blooming ...

Even if she did not show faith in her love, it does not mean she will not get there. Love is a journey not a destination ... and definitely not a race between the husband and wife. Is it?

we keep on talking about jalal having faith in jodha..and forget that he just did not get up one day and decided to have faith...if jalal has faith ..it is solee because jodha earned that faith,trust and love...if today jalal cannot bring himself to doubt jodha even after khyber issue...that speaks a lot about the woman in question as well...among thousands if he can close his eyes and trust her ...it is because of her as well...if jalal's love is epic that is because jodha makes it epic...

as you said love is never a destination but a journey...and they have just started it ..the growth ,the understanding happens but never in tandem...some realize fast ,some take time ...that does not put down what they feel ..inspite of all her shortcomings ..no one can love jalal the way jodha does...and he knows it very well...

She showed amazing strength today ... deciding to not breakdown and go to Amer for the sake of her children. And, till yesterday, I might have thought she was going out of her self-respect and due to the insults ... but there was something very beautiful in the way she admitted to Hamida Bano that she could not see Jalal distanced and angry at her ... that was her real pain.

she never begged or pleaded or emotionally blackmailed him for herself or her kids...and this she could have...with amazing strength and grace she conducted herself ..yet in her is the vulnerable woman ,lover...she no longer can stand his distancing her ,his inclination towards another...yes indeed that was her real pain

4. Jalal: What can I say to the man who is bearing pain and enmity from each dear one, to find out who the enemies are that are threatening his dear ones.

He continued with his OTT anger in public ...

Again in softer tones, he ensured the safety of Jodha by instructing her to stay away from the wedding and in her room.

He was the smooth operator with Atifa being completely cool about the new folks invited to the wedding ... saying he did want to have the folks who were happy with the wedding there. Did I sense some double meaning there?

it is indeed too much now ...as i said things have broken and now i want to see how it is rebuilt...yes he did what he had to do and knew the consequences too...as i said collateral damage is inevitable ...let us see how they unfold the whole story ..it was such a pleasure to see the Emperor in action but i miss my blushing jalal too ..i want him occasionally 😆

And a special mention for the last scene,

(5) I found this scene beautifully constructed ... a stoic, strong Jodha who thought she was all alone ... but lo and behold, she was not alone, and who was standing behind her? It was none other than Jalal, pained by the sadness he was giving her, but determined in going forward with a plan that would ensure a life of happiness and safety with her. He was her silent support in the background and she didn't even know it.

i cried 'hallelujah' when i heard ishq hai woh ehsaas😭😆...the fact that she decided to leave finally broke his resolve...he just could not bear it anymore hence that walk to his beloved only to se eher standing like a lifeless stone ...his expressions said everything and i screamed papita come and have a look ...silly fruit😆

he always is her silent support hence she wonders what did she do wrong this time😆😆

There is a beautiful poem called Footprints- where a Man asks God why in his most troubled points of his life, why there are only one set of footprints on the Ground? Why did you abandon me? Where God responds- those footprints are mine, I was actually carrying you. And that is exactly what Jodha will realize as this track unfolds.

i have the whole poem hanging on my wall...it is very beautiful and speaks of the true relationship between man and his God...

We might not agree with Jalal's methods, but one thing we need to applaud his intentions. And how pained was he when he exclaims - he has had enough, this has gone too far!

And yes, Jalal we agree ! Bohath ho gaya. It is enough pain for you, Jodha, and all your loved ones- and even us- let us get to the climax quickly!

Me again! In meetings 😆 I think this process is working well ... with me starting the thread for the discussion to start and then updating my take later. What do you think? Please do come back to read my updated take.

Looks like we are in the final stages of the plan:

- Jodha has been kept away from the proceedings ... but knowing Jodha she will arrive 😆 If history is a predictor of the future, she must know the weddings she oppose (like the Ben track) ... something bad happens
- The awaam / religious leaders are kicked into action
- Who are these Kabul wedding guests? Sounds mysterious.
- Ruqs ... I love you today ... but know your anger will be back as soon as Jalal tells Jodha he loves her at the end of the track
- So, looks like Maan Singh is not in the loop? I am still rooting from my TM being with Jalal on this!

So, my 5 questions of the day for now ... which will be updated to my take later.
