Maham's game plan:
Send Atifa to attack Jodha and her babies. She cannot enter Hamam with out Maham help.
She missed out on Jodha and infact got herself exposed to Jalal.
Plan B , enter the haram as refugees. Maham covered herself by using Mahachuchak name.
Get close to Jodha in harem to attack her but her plan turned upside down when Jalal started showing interest in her.
Plan C, play along with it and find a right time to kill Jalal. What is a right time?
First Maham needs complete assurance that Jalal is going mad after Atifa, and trust her compltely. Husband angle introduced so that if he has relationship with married woman, he will loose his sultanate, loose respect from people. Getting a replacement for Jalal is easier if people start hating him and if commits a crime. In short if there is a unified revolt against him.
Remember many times it was mentioned that Awaam is his biggest strength.
Maham knows Jalal is super smart and he will not fall for any woman, but when he started fallibg for Atifa, she was not sure if it is real. She sent Ruq for confirmation. She stopped Adham today just to get a sense of the real intentions of Jalal.
This is why Jalal played a master game:
He yelled at Jodha and hurted her so that she drifts away from him.
He needed to get close to Atifa and this is the only way she would stay away.
He had to lie and confess false feelings for her becoz he knew Maham was listening and keeping a eye on him.
He took her to Shikar to keep her away from Haram and get to know more about her intentions, when she was knowyingly tried to change her clothes, tried to woo him, he knew he was right. Hence the smirk.
He went to meet Atifa to her room, so that everyone knows abt their relation.
He wanted to test who arw his friends and enemies here and hence created this ruckus, going against everyone and marrying Atifa.
As you saw today, MS proved his faithfulness to Jalal. TM and Atgah did not create the Bhagawat just like Adham did. This was Adhams biggest mistake and he got caught.
Why Talaq to Jodha, that is the biggest proof that he is over her and this is the only way to keep her out of trouble.
Maham"s biggest problem was Jodha, if jalal himself takes her out of his life then there is no importance to Jodha. She is safe.
He did not trust anyone because he does not know whom to trust anymore. So playing it very safe. When atifa said that they r gonna leave, he wanted to end this once for all before they escape.
He is playing it the way Maham wants.
He will place someone else in his shoes during wedding. Once that man is killed, all the enemies will come forward and claim the takht. Jalal will return in Dabang style eliminating all his enemies once for all.
