It was actually funny -sad, the way he let himself go as he glanced at Jodha with Jalal, looking so happy to have seen Akbar.

Finally it sunk in- She loves HIM.Her husband.. If he remains there & ia hauled up, it will be death , slowly.

Well it's a very short-lived obsession!

It isn't even genuine affection. His respect for Jodha has been converted into this strange obsession.

He respected her & was immensely affectionate because she was the FIRST person to have seen him for what the world never saw him as- A HUMAN.

It's like that fondness we've for someone who shows us kindness for the first time...

exactly..it wa snot love ..it was devotion and obsession for this girl who saw him as a human and not animal..his entire life he has been caged,whipped and treated like an animal..he never understood tender kindness...poor guy 😭

and when he touched that gesture he wanted it for life..the good feeling ...he does not understand love but he understood that jodha wants to be with jalal and hence she was crying ..that is why he let go ...
