all i am saying is i have never seen jalal's one sided devotion to jodha only...i wish the way they showed khybrr worried only abt jodha we would get to see even jalal's love...he says he loves jodha but one small problem and mis understanding ho jati hai...i know he is the king and a lot rests on him,but i don't find anything epic in his love...atleast with khybrr we saw that he only cares for jodha...the problem is with the cv's,they have shown jalal's lust for jodha, his attraction ,his guilt, even his love, but where is the EPIC LOVE?what does epic love actually mean for them...the way they have pot rayed khybrr anyone would feel for him.
Khyber is like a pet puppy...why do we love our pets...because they're adorable...they wag their tails, fetch, and guard us... Obviously, one would feel for him...
A man is one who can protect, rationalise, learn from mistakes, share thoughts, correct, differentiate, appreciate and give space to another human being too...
Why is Jalal's love not epic? Because he misunderstood her? Where exactly did her misunderstand her in this track... Even after hearing all those things and seeing such proofs in the hut he didn't MU her...instead after Sujamal fiasco also she only MU him now...
Everyone claimed (and Jodha herself) that jalal should have read her truthfulness in her eyes during Sujamal track... Why isn't Jodha doing the same now? Why isn't she thinking for once what might have happened that he changed tune overnight ...with no reason?
Why is Jodhas love epic? Because of vishpaan? What about the number of times jalal put his life in the line to save her? Who else has he done this for?
You are seeing it one sided way
Also, the kind of love you're asking for is more like laila majnu style...jungle mein romance any couple can do...but what Akbar Jodha have achieved very few can...
Akbar and Jodhas love is epic because despite being a successful emperor in a polygamous setting with numerous plotting relatives in his own home...their love succeeded...
Their love is epic because Akbar set a precedent of allowing his wife to follow her own faith - unheard of in 16th c when invaders before and after him were plundering and looting other faiths
Their love is epic because despite having distances and being embroiled in other affairs, despite briefly succumbing to MUs created by other evil forces they always returned to one another
Their love is epic because in the nth moment, when in the pits of despair, when in danger, one can only think of the other...
If this is not EPIC LOVE, what is?
