(1) Two wrongs never makes a right ... even if we assume Jalal is after Atifa, that does not make Jodha and her stance on Khaiber automatically right or Jalal's concern for Jodha false.
Imagine if the Jodha-Khaiber track was a completely separate one ... I think folks reactions would have been very different.
Because it is very clear that there is concern for Jodha that is driving Jalal's actions ... in any other day, we would have cheered that he said "hamari Jodha Begum" ko kuch ho jaata to when he angrily was speaking to Atgah and SD. But, now we are just thinking back to why is he with Atifa.
(2) Both were right today in their intentions ...
Jodha: in trying to save Khaiber who she views as someone who saved her life
Jalal: in seeing the threat that Khaiber poses to a pregnant Jodha and his children and the harem at large
However, I felt neither dialogues brought out in actuality what their intentions were and were constructed merely to create a fight and escalate.
In addition, Jalal showed his anger too strongly ... and Jodha came across as challenging Jalal in public.
However, if Jalal's anger is creating stress for Jodha's pregnancy, so is Khaiber visiting her room. We do not know what would have happened if SD had not arrived. So, that does not place Khaiber automatically in the good either.
(3) Jalal the kathputhli or not: The question was never whether Jalal listened to Jodha or not ... the issue was why is Jalal never shown capable of doing anything right ...
So, I am not happy with Jalal saying he is not Jodha's kathputhli ... if the CVs do not show him showing good judgment and that is why I am hoping Jalal has an ace up in his sleeve.
(4) We have seen Jalal's behavior for ~300 episodes ... and the Jalal we have seen for 4 days does not erase what he used to be. If everything about him has changed, there has got to be a reason and all I am saying is to wait for that reason.And it can't be a 4 day old love!
(5) Relationships go through all sorts of ups and downs ... but that does not erase the love Jodha and Jalal have for each other. We could say they are not worthy of each other ... but in the end of the day, they decided they were.
Everyone knows I did not like how Jodha refused to see Jalal's POV in the Sujamal Fiasco for a long time ... but that never made me think that Jodha was not worthy of Jalal. It was a mistake ... she learned from it and life moved on. Life will move on no matter how this track ends.
In terms of the overall track, I am not making any more guesses. There are cases to be made Jalal is acting, there are cases to be made that he is not. I am now leaning towards Jalal being hypnotized ... the question is does he know of it or not? Only time will tell.
And I felt bad for Atgah Khan today , he is witnessing all the mini love stories in Agra paagal khaana- adding SD and his love for Jodha to the list. He must be going crazy đ
