i think jalal very well knows she will defy him come what may ..even after this death sentence he will be sure that jodha is not going to let the man to the gallows 😆😆 and it does not help his case when the semi clad hulk goes doe eyed over his jodha 😆

Divs - that self talk could be that he observed someone observing him or it could be Jalal only stating half of what is in his mind - that she is beautiful - like a trap - and he does not knw what happens to him - becoz he is both intrigued and suspicious - so we may have haeard him air what is on his mind only partially - warna CVs intrigue kaise create karte!!!

Honestly ,is Jalal possessive about her.There is no doubt he loves her sometimes I feel he loves her more than she does but then loving is diff and being possessive lover is diff.Never even heard such dialogues from him.

No he's not a possessive lover at all, just not his nature. He has a great fondness for Jodha because she's a bit fiery and has a tendency to go against him no matter how hard she tries not to - it amuses him, secretly pleases him, exasperates him. But he is not the type to do Mughal e Azam type scenes.

I am not sure if it is possessive ... but during the Sujamal fiasco / outburst ... that famous Friday night ... you could see how much it pained to him to think that she loved someone else more than him

Comepletely agree with Adiana's observation...he was thinking something, especially while he was sharpening his sword...he was smiling but thinking ...making his plans and plots..and smiled at how when succeeded will surprise the enemy..haiii!!! wish we get our old TE back.

Actually it's his interpretation of Jalal that communicates the right amount of aloof-ness, the right dash of interest, the right amount of exuberance for an impending wedding, the right dose of re assurance to Jodha, the right amount of exasperation, and an ability to hold all these things in and still manage to produce the right body language for an emperor. Pity CVs didn't use him well enough except early on.

I skipped that track and also the TM track . But that could have been wounded pride as well. people like Alexander, Napolean and Jalal...they have a particular mind set. It comes with being a conqueror.
