Were great lovers. Akbar was never that close to Ruqayah. She was highly respected for being grandaughter of Babur but basically his CHIEF SULTANA WAS HIS HINDU SULTANA CALLED Maryam uz zamani. I don't like cvs giving unnecessary importance to Ruqayah. Show some rajput masala.

Being Chief Sultana is a very high position, next to only emperor and his valida...means mother.After Emperor and Valide Sultan its his chief sultana and that was Only JOdha in his life not ruqayah. Jodha was Begum e khas of Akbar not ruqayah. Had ho gaye hain natkiya rupantar ki.

This serial made me allergic to begum e khas word 😆 MUZ is indeed the most imp n lovable begum for akbar no doubt in that which has been remebred even aftr 450 yrs 😳

agree with you.. Initially they gave importance to Ruks because JA and JO were slowly building their relationship. Now as you can see Ruks is not given that importance. In fact Jalal likes to consult with Salima than Ruks. I guess the phase that we are in, is to show Akdha strong bonding.
