What a brilliant post 👏...N what a lovely way of looking at Jalal...@bold underlined : u made me look at the whole scenario with a different perspective now...this is the beauty of a forum. ...u get to read different viewpoints, but can only appreciate them, if u have an open mindset as opposed to radical views over any matter.
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you can look at it with a different perspective now. And I totally agree with you about the open mindset.N i also agree about y people take the show so heavy 😆...it totally baffles me...Thank god i'm not the only one who thinks that 😆Yesterday, the "Great IF War " was more heated than the Mirchi War or the war b/w MC's Vaanarsena n jalal's sena 😆
Yess i know!! That is exactly what i thought... It doesnt have to be this way.. But that is my POV😃
Divi,
Bhashan????? 😲 😛Yesterday's episode was better executed than I feared.Jodha continued from where she had left off yesterday. Rallying, not just the women, but children and transgenders behind her she sounded a battle-cry, which surprisingly was not heard by Mali outside. Maybe the tent is sound-proof.Meanwhile, my admiration for Zakira, the pocket-sized power-house keeps growing everyday. Voicing her support for Jodha against her one-time lord AM, she joined forces with hakim sahiba (toxicologist this time) and prepared a potent concoction which would wreak havoc on enemies. I was all eyes for that.Elsewhere, Hamida, Jiji, and Gulbadan surveyed other preparations for the war, boiling water, oil, chilli and other spices. Now I don't know about spices, but, boiling oil was indeed used those days especially on enemy soldiers trying to breach a fort wall. One thing I liked about the execution was, the beghums were shown with different weapons, Jodha with sword, Ruqaiyya with bow and arrow, Salima with a gun, and one of the beghum who had never held a weapon was given a dagger, while the bandhis had pestles. And the older lot like Hamida, Jiji, and Gulbadan were shown surveying the battlefield, and it was much more realistic that they play the role of tactician than swing and swirl like the lithe young ones.Maham though showed some cool Ninja moves. I think Adham takes after his father. 😉😆Adham part did little than show his dissent for the nth time. Though he received news of Jalaal's absence, what he would do next, would be interesting. Would he turn on Jalaal's army, or take a leaf out of Maham's book?Somehow it was sweet watching Jo and Ruq fighting together. The Jalaal part was a pain to watch, the hot water notwithstanding, God knows the boy needs a wash.Somehow I felt yesterday's ending was not the end of it. I guess there will be some more fighting, and ultimately, true to to Jodha's words, it will be Jalaal who'll save them. Ghayal sher please come.Ruqaiyya's words, that this harem would make Mali's life haraam was spot on.Jodha's said, soon, Mali's harem would also join them for protection against him. Now, having seen Benazir and MCB (and her daughter who was making cow eyes at her step-daddy last week) I am not too keen on seeing the rest of the Kabul crowd. Please CVs daya karo.My feelings? Well Mali's line describes it perfectly, "Mazak banake rakh diya hai." 😆Fab post!👏
Thanks so much! Yes, it is true, that Jalal is still holding his ground and being strong- that is a very positive way to look at it 😊 I think people wanted to see the same strength before the war began. Thanks! On why folks take things seriously, different things matter more to different people- for some people the image of Akbar is very important and cannot see him tortured.I can understand that, but still it's a serial and all the drama and twist are kind of necessary. What i mean things like this don't need to spoil your mood. In history Akbar's image is important and it will remain so 😉Thanks again for liking the take!I always like your take. I only come here to read your take. So you can imagine that when you didn't post a take for a couple of days i cried 😆 (just kidding) but i did miss it. So please keep on posting (only if you can off course😊).
Thanks Sandhya.😳

I hardly write something on show because of people here
If we say something against Jodha or Jalal their respective fan group start to complain about bashing
neither jodha nor jalal are god who cant do mistake or they cant have flaws
everyone has their own sets of flaws so we should accept it
And if someone is not agree on some point that does not mean we are rival and need to fight with each other

Divya I think we all had praised yesterday' s episode. If we r against weak jalal tht doesn't mean we want to abla nari. As I had said jalal imprisoned was not required. If we talk about real history jalal was also never captive. We never said tht akbar should be the USP ur only point was show them equal. Nd if demanding for equality is being an rajat fan so fine im a rajat fan. When jalal became akbar no promos came so wht about his achievements. In real history jalal was a wonderful singer composer was it ever shown ? Nop. Yes its jodha akbar nd both should be equal. But where is akbar? Does woman empowerment means weak male? Its gud tht female lead is strong nd evryone loved tht, but wht about the male lead should he always stand as a furniture nd wait for others to rescue him? Why cant both fighting together can be shown?
completely agree ... Asking for equality is not a criticism of a strong Jodha .. Strong women look even stronger among strong menI think where there is differing opinion on that Jalal is still shown strong to some .,, which is a valid point. Everyone has different expectations from Jalal. We expect the most from him 😊

difference of opinions can be there dear. & we r ok with it. i just wanted to say tht if we want to see jalal fighting & defeating his enemies tht doesnt mean we want to see jodha as a "abla nari". we all loved yesterday's fight. & i also want to say if jodha is not like other serial heroines, jalal is also not like other serial heros. in the 16th century if a woman stands strong her husband's support is also a very big reason. for eg. jodha's sword & ruku's bow-arrow skills. without any practice skills have no value. as its said "practice makes a man perfect". its jalal who had allowed them to practice & had given them so much freedom. we all know noone can do anything against jalal's wish. so in 16th century a wife needs a liberal husband like jalal to stand strong. yes jodha is a brave & a gud-hearted lady which had impressed jalal & touched his heart, but only a gud-hearted & a liberal person can understand these things. so jalal actually has equal contribution behind this "nari shakti". would an auranzeb will ever understand these??

Hi divya,
I really want to discuss in detail to your take 5. My exams are pressurizing me to be swift and short in the comment. But i cannot resist reading your post take 5 and sharing my thoughts.
Beautiul and wonderful take 5 as usual. Liked the last point of yours to give a small "zakham" to jalal before sending him to war. Brilliant idea. Agree that jalal is a strong warrior but easily falls a prey to the emotions of the close and dear ones. It is this weakness of him that every one is manipulating him according to their whims and fancies (even before he found his dil).
In history also i've heard that babar used to give such inspirational speech to his battalion that they get so raged and never stop till they win. Jodha is proved that she is the apt bahu of this family. Loved even MA participating with full heart to fight against AM. I liked the dialogue of one the sepoys when he said they are fighting with weapons that we have not even heard of (thats why its better men also learn to cook). Every one has contributed to this wonderful mini war and would like to watch more of this action.
A standing ovation and salute to salima begum. This mother and fighter needs all appreciation. She reminded me of other women warriors in the history who used to battle with their child tied up to them like she did in the episode. Of course in the history of india there are cases when women did fight back bravely before killing themselves. Thanks to the CVs and the team of actors for once again reminding of the history and loved the episode.
thanks for your post
