I didn't believe in the spoilers from the beginning, or at least I did not have faith in these half baked utterings by blissfully unaware ZEE wallahs. So, I am in a much more positive mood. It also helps that I don't consider Akbar to be some kind of God who can do no foolish thing, ever. Instead, I focus on performances.

When you make these adjustments to your thinking, as I have done, and think of this serial as a traditional movie kind of setup, not a life story of Akbar, then yesterday's episode was pretty good. It had action, lots of drama and plenty of suspense.

I request you, in the future don't take any spoilers into considerations. Most of them turn out to disappoint, instead analyze what you see on the screen, you are superb at that.

You are bang on!

I have never enjoyed any track so much as this one. This is so-so Dharmendra kind of movie. Just his trademark dialogs are missing. Guess they won't sound good coming from the more suave Akbar. ๐Ÿ˜†

Did you notice that Ruq gave poison to everyone except maham, who sorely needs a dosage?๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Frankly speaking i enjoyed yesterdays epi it had drama emotion some good acting a king refusing to bend down n a queen refusing to give up on her husband. If one can forget that it is based on real life characters one can enjoy. Anyway i dont want to see the exact life of akbar in serial. I mean no offense but what was epically romantic abt having hundreds of wives n having kids with a few of them n he did continue to marry after jodha too so i will take fiction over reality this time. I agree watching akbar getting captured was disheartning but i loved the way he continued laughing at mali n taunting him all the way. Even the thought of his harem being looted didnt down his spirits. Did u notice smthg fishy abt how he says that if i m still alive after a few hrs u will b in big trouble. Is it indication of a plot or m i clutching at straws here?
I m looking forward to jodha being kidanpped coz then i get to see an angry n worried jalal ready to face a huge phalwan to save his jodha. Havent we all been waiting to see an angry n invincible jalal? The only problem i have is with nigar being forgiven after all this. Thats taking fiction also too far.

Your review is wonderfully funny today and I'm glad to start my day with a good laugh.

I am not at all put off by what is being shown. It reminds me of so much of the movies from the 70s and 80s. ๐Ÿ˜† Yes, it's all historical bunkum. But who cares? As we keep hearing, this is just fiction, inspired by history but not the real McCoy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do you know why Jalal was captured so early in the war, after just 5 mins? Because Ekta had budgeted the war scenes for only 5 mins. ๐Ÿ˜† It's cheaper to show Jalal in a cave-like room with just Abul mali and a couple of his henchmen. Esp in these recession-hit times.

30 hours. It sounds really good. Like a doctor telling a patient's family that the next 30 hours are going to decide whether the patient lives or dies. Here, of course, we know for sure that Jalal will live. So let's enjoy the overflow of tomato ketchup and the ๐Ÿ˜ฒ and ๐Ÿ˜ญ expressions.

30 hours can translate to the whole of this week in terms of screen time. So let's enjoy ourselves the best we can! ๐Ÿ˜‰

"Those 30 hours" sounds like a nice name for an action film, na? It should be a mix of "Speed and Sholay" ...

As always a lovely post.Well the amount of creative liberty taken is OTT these days by the cvs.
But still today I liked RTs performance when he was caught and tortured(though I fast forwarded torture scenes mostly) .And the girls gang was also good performance wise.
I think tomm they shouldn't show the torture much. But they should show the girls getting the news and preparing for the war.Well as far as mirchi war is concerned ,my mother-in- law gave me some inputs.Nowadays she is attending the lecture series on Maharana Pratap and over there ,the lecturer told that mirchi powder was used by Rajput women many times for their defense. So that mirchi war was explainable to me.Now off topic,I will share with you one thing ,that my MIL after attending these lectures is a always complaining about Akbar as the lecturer has portrayed , Akbar as a Villian. And I defend him badly telling that lecturer is wrong. Now Akbar and MP have become a reason for another Saas Bahu drama .๐Ÿ˜†
Now I really feel that tomm this Chand Begum should show her chand sa mukhada.Else I will wander on the street ,singing ,"Tu chupi hain kaha."
Really this Maham's ability of hiding her crimes and ,now hiding this chand begum for years is great.I now really feel that this MH370 is with MA.
That gorilla man is hilarious. But why such a huge man for delicate Jodha to kidnap. This work could be done by anybody ,give it to Shariff he would have loved it and won't even charge a penny.
Well like Britishers I will sing today,"God save the queen(s)." Oh lord, save the queens and our beloved King from the enemy .

Your funny bone is still rattling away today? Seems like the fainting prediction has made humour overflow from you!๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Okay, that's a good point of view and attitude to have too. Nothing like fully enjoying everything that is available to enjoy. You have a gift!

Great write up mansi!
The episode was not a bad one, except that jalal torturing part! That was disgusting! And abul mali's speech!๐Ÿคข
Though we have enormous hatred for shehnaaz and AM, i am sure, shehnaaz will be forgiven! I am mentally preparing myself for that!

I dont think we should believe zee man! He has lied to us before! Fine, that is the only hope left now! Lets hope he is telling the truth!

I think we should get used to the way the show is going! We have been seeing a weak jalal and strong Jodha since a long time, but our optimism had held us here! Now, i dont think there will be any changes brought in the story-line so as to give us a strong Jalal! If CV's were to bring any changes, they would have brought it long ago!

Yesterday's episode did have some positive scenes!

1.It was great to see jalal's confidence on his harem ladies! He knows that harem ladies will fight back! He knows what HIS Jodha is! He knows she will never let his harem go in the hands of AM!

2.And Jodha reflected the same thing! "hum rajvanshi auratein talwar utana bhi jaante hain, aur jauhar karna bhi!" ๐Ÿ‘ No doubt, there is some kind of telepathic conmection between these two!๐Ÿ˜ณ

3.TM proved his loyality for Jallu yet again! He said he would never show his face again to mughul sultanate, if he fails to find out Jalal! Now, if Maan singh was with jallu, and if TM comes across MS while looking for jalal, they may go together and find him out!

4.Though i am a forbid Ruku hater, i loved ruq-jo bonding yesterday! Ruk didnt try to shut jo up with her teda, rude dialogues! She was sensible yesterday! But the question is how long?๐Ÿ˜†

5.Jalal's stubborness! I loved jalal's stubborness yesterday, inspite of being tortured so much by AM, he didnt give up!

6.Lastly, i loved Jo's dialogues in the last secene! Though it sounded filmy, she meant it!๐Ÿ˜ณ

I donno if i have succeded in restoring your positivity, but i am saying again,"we should get used to the way the story is going!"

Nice post Radhika. You please write the ans I asked for as I have hopes on you as you also belong to Mansi school of positive thoughts.
Well that overdose of Tomato Ketchup was too much and specially near the mouth area.Reminded me of the song,"Lahu mooh lag Gaya." Bichara Jalal !Waise to Lahu uske mooh lagta nahi uske begums ke zid ke kaaran , chalo Aaj aaise hi lag Gaya.

NO Mansi, I think she gave it to both Maham and her chamchi Resham as well and so I was wondering why to resham? Why can't they use Resham and co in warfare or as sipayees to the ladies safety.
