Ela what I do not understand is why so much inconsistency in characterization! The same jalal shown so alert during old days as soon as he discovered dil all his hunars went out of the window!

Sandhya, thanks for agreeing with me that Maharana Pratap was glory personified. I am certain that 99% of Indian population agrees with both of us on this.

But what about Akbar? Not sure why you are asking ME this question...Read my comment again Sandhya...and this time pay attention...Did I say that I like Akbar being misportrayed in any show?...I did not post my response when someone questioned the misportrayal of Akbar in the other show...my post was in response to the comment on MP...i made sure that i clarify it ...So I am unable to understand why are you questioning me about Akbar...you should direct your question to the person( if any) who says that he/ she enjoys watching Akbar as a wimpy king or as a psycho devil. My reply to your post ends here.

Now...i fail to understand this kind of love for historical characters. We are not satisfied that the person we admire was great...he has to be the greatest...Why?...why can't two great men co exist? ...if MP was great, then Akbar wasnt or if Akbar was great then Ashoka wasn't is something that Is beyond my mental faculties to comprehend...if the show makers are doing a shabby job of portraying any one of them, does it give us the license to question the greatness of other historical characters? ...absolutely not. Complain about the show makers...complain about the misportrayal ...why take out the frustration on other historical characters? Infact, I agree with Adiansar here...if people are so unhappy with the the characterization of Akbar, then complain to the right authorities so that changes can be made and production houses and channels learn a lesson that they can't take history for granted...we feel bad about the portrayal of characters but dont want to let go of the guilty pleasure...and taking out our frustration by bashing a respected historical character is so much easier.

If anyone has a problem with misportrayal of Akbar in another show, please discuss it on the other show's forum...Or else you'll get this thread closed...if you still insist on venting about another show on this forum...by all means...do it till the mods allow it...kindly leave revered historical characters like Maharana Pratap out of it. Thanks.😊

Jalal showing love for his sister in war-field is not an offence! Any human would do that! He knows that Abul-Mali and CB are just using nigaar to get the takth! Being a shahenshah its his duty to bring back nigaar safely from their clutches and give her back her rights!

I dont understand why Jodha and her hunars are held responsible for every action of jalal! So much hatred for Jodha? Well what if she is as strong as jalal?

If jalal had not cared for nigaar and killed her mercilessly in battle-field, wouldnt that have been a dhoka to his father humayun or mughul-sultanate? That farmam says nigaar is the rightful owner of the takth! And any person with ethics should hand over the takth to her!

Now this goodness of jalal will save him! Tomorrow when nigaar learns the truth and realises that mahaC and abulmali were just using her, she may whole-heartedly regret for her actions unlika MA! And even if Jalal offers her the takth after all this, she may refuse to accept that and give it back to Jalal! Wouldnt that be great?

Being good to someone will only do good for you!😊

And i dont think begums will release jalal! Once he is freed from those chains he will chop off any number of soldiers who come in front of him! I am sure, he will get himself freed some how and come to save his harem!

Jalal is not weak! Every humans have emotions, but people with bad intentions like shehnaaz, exploits them!

Again it is wrong to assume that length of role always matter. ..i think it is substance that matters. ...
