Today's episode marked the sadness that loomed over Jodha and Jalal on Friday's episode as new dreams both literally and figuratively came into their lives ... Jodha (on Friday) had described how like water we need to flow on in life and the episode flowed in a very similar fashion ...
It was overall a good episode, barring few scenes😆
(1) It all started with ... Jalal's dream ... It was such a marked transition from his worried tossing and turning that it was misfortune to push an empty paalna ... And how beautifully Jodha glowed as she lifted their baby and said it was not empty.
All he thinks is of baby now, Jalal to have baby, you can't just dream, you need your wife with you for it😆, but the symbolic was his wifey wearing his favourite color as well.
It was indeed symbolic of how this dream marked his crossing from pain to happiness.
(2) And this dream shone brightly in the next scene when Jalal shared his dream with Jodha first thing ... A few things I like in this scene:
- Jodha's happiness on hearing Jalal being announced ... Though Jalal must have announced himself to avoid the "aap yahan" though he still got the "is waqt" 😆
Old habbits die hard, the best solution is either Jodha shifts to his hojra or he shifts to her hojra forever😆
- Jalal's happiness in sharing his dream ... He seemed like a little kid
- Love how he said that that begum was Jodha Begum and calling her MUZ for the first time
- The soul talk reflecting on Jodha's happiness on finally seeing Jalal happy again and being called MUZ the first time 😳
Jalal was ecstatic that the person he loves is going to carry his baby and become MUZ, but anyways if he takes on monogamy then how others can conceive😉
It's official guys- both Jodha and Jalal have forgotten how Salim Chisti had said Jodha will be MUZ! Jodha thought of Ruqs when she heard of the dream! 😆
There will be Eureka moment when Jodha will be pregnant and Salim chisti baba will arrive to Agra or send some paigams to bless them😆
And then he said, he wanted her to be in DEK to make an announcement- this is the third time in the past few weeks! And I prayed this time it would be something meaningful. 😉
It was meaningful, but not in honour of Jodha, lot of people would have left a sigh of relief😉
(3) And I really loved this DEK scene ... While it started with his more personal dream ... It ended with his vision of a sultanate of religious tolerance where Hindus and Muslims moved hand in hand. The coin was beautiful for it showing the two sides of God and this scene truly showed the greatness and religious tolerance of Jalal. After all, he was the heart and soul behind din-e-ilahi.
It was his vision, his thoughts and his broadmindedness, but his dream was associated with Jodha
Question: What was the purpose of the coin that Jalal saw in Jodha's room? He had already designed this coin right ... Given he presented it in the DEK right after his conversation with Jodha. I am guessing he saw one half of the coin in Jodha's room? But, the I wasn't sure what beautiful idea he was referring to in the precap?
He did not get the idea of coin seeing it in Jodha's room is my feeling, he had that thought going on for a while, it was just a indication that what he is doing is in right direction (just my guess)
(4) How Jodha and Jalal manage to converse even in a crowd .. I love this jodi and the way they talk with their eyes during the DEK session ... Starting when Jalal refers to the dream ... And how Jodha expresses her appreciation in seeing the coin ... 😳
They love to steal the time even in the crowd, and all lovers manage to do that
😉😆,
they both looked very good While Ruqs sulked / gloated away in her room ... I found it very symbolic that she was not in the DEK for such an occasion ...
I also agree with Jodha's words that it was not that what Ruq's did was not a mistake ... But Jodha and Jalal making another mistake would not fix it. Till the next scene with Ruq's she probably didn't realize that nothing could fix Ruq's! 😆
Ruk's lives in assumption, she has made a bubble around herself which is easily blasted by MA or even Hoshiyaar at times, when they show her the reality, but still she doesn't fail to create another one, she only goes for face value, she doesn't have depth to understand feelings or people and nothing can change that
(5) The cupid Rahim is back ... I always love to hear Jodha tell stories to Rahim ... Of course on her favorite topic Kanha ... Loved how Rahim pointed out that Jalal was there and then began to question Jodha on when a chote kanha will come ... Jalal of course loved to corner Jodha and asked her to answer Rahim's question.., I wonder how Jodha will get out of this one! 😉
I do not want to watch pregnancy track for sometime, but when you look at Jalal giving lovey dovey glances at his wife, at times feel that, she should get pregnant soon.😆
Oh yes ... Maham Anga, Ruqs, and Shehnaaz ... Were they in the episode? I seem to have forgotten them. 😆
I prefer to forget Shehnaz, other two are still tolerable at times, but Shehnaz, I want this woman out of the show soon, even if it means that Jodha kills her in the war and I like that there is a war, I do not want to watch Shehnaz giving up her rights to Jalal out of love or any other reason, as I believe even legally Jalal deserved it and only because of his hardwork, abilities he is there, not because of any farman😡
Actually, for the first time, I am actually excited about the Shehnaaz track hearing of this duel between Jodha and Shehnaaz. So, the entire sultanate will hinge on Jodha's sword fighting skills! However, one thing is for sure, Jalal would not have battled a woman, let alone a sister. 👏
But, God save the Sultanate if she sits on that throne! She can't even manage her mother, and she is out to rule the kingdom! 😆
So, what were your thoughts on the episode and the take?
