Very nice Divyam. The episode was kind of a continuation of yesterday as well as your takes.
Am actually loving this subtle, piercing Jalal - his words to Ruqaiyya was as sharp as his sword. šš¼
As I predicted yesterday, this Ruqaiyya fiasco does not seem to be over. She is at it again, in the monday's precap, so, her falling from grace totally is imminent shortly. As you also noted, Jalal has forgiven but defenitely not forgotten. Its either, Maham is going to make the khulasa out in the open or Jala himself is gonna find out on monday, how Jodha is being treated by Ruqs. š¤
Am anticipating a double or triple dhamaka next week. Maham exposure in this Chand begum, Ruqs being cornered and the new villain Mahachuchak entry. Hey, I have the right to dream aint' I š

wonderful take divya. loved today's episode. honestly, this is the reason why i was upset yesterday when entire blame was given on jalal. even the strongest man in the world needs emotional support, which ruku never understood. today jodha came to feed jalal bcoz she realized tht jalal is hurt. ruku also knows tht jalal will be upset, so she could also have come to jalal. no doubt ruku also cares & loves jalal, but she never understood jalal's emotional needs. i know jalal always said he dont have a heart, but maham understood jalal's emotional needs, she used it for her own sake thts a diff issue. & thts why after jodha came in jalal's life he started getting emotionally connected to her. its not about spending more time with a particular queen, its more about tht emotional support which jalal got from jodha. as a wife ruku wants more attention from jalal agreed, but similarly as a wife she should have gone to him once to see his condition. loved rajat's performance in the jalal-jodha-ruku scene. he didnt showed his rage, but certainly tried to show where exactly ruku went wrong & thts exactly wht i wanted yesterday. i also feel bad for ruku time to time, but my prob is if she feels jalal is ignoring her, she should go & fight with jalal, just like friends do. relationships r 2 sided, so only expecting from jalal is really not done.
P.S.:- shehnaaz how dare u call jalal not a gud bro??? & wht about u??? u tried to kill a small kid.š”

Awesome take 5 Divya!!
I totally agree with u and was also thinking along the same lines...How jallu made ruqu realize that she wont b MUZ and he is sad about it too!
Palna back in Jo's room signifies Jallu's dream but it is bugging me y he is not remembering Salim Chisti's words that Jo was destined to become MUZ!!! I want him and Jo both to remember!!
About the precap: i think just like today Jallu will come along and shut her up!! Though i wonder how she found out Jo saved her from Jallu's wrath...cud it b Jallu who told her? Or did she hear JaJo's convo or something!!!
Even though i know Shehnaz is dreaming about killing Jallu at the end of the episode but i still wud have liked if they had not finished the episode like this before the weekend!!!
We have Maha Chuchak coming soon too, Akdha is always surrounded with one or the other villian!!

Hi Divi,
Todays episode was OK for me, liked Akdha scene. But now i am more confused now as i don't understandJalal- He forgave ruqs for Jodha, but also thanked Jodha for saving his friendship. Told ruqz that he will forget everything and he forgave her. I understand putting that in practice is difficult, but why was he so mean and cold with her. Isn't he creating the same situation again between him and ruqs?Ruqs- With Jalal she looked guilty but with Jodha she is arrogant and rude. From pre cap she says she is not guilty but with Jalal she has a different story, i don't know what she is thinkingJodha- Her behavior is exactly as it is supposed to be. I get her, BUT why is she still listening to ruqs insults, why can't she defend herself and need Jalal to defend her. In the prep, she is listening to the story just like she was listening when Maham was yelling. I don't get that, why she can't give it back to ruks.CV's: Making ruq not feeling guilty, then what is the moral of the story, that people can't be given a second chance and kindness and forgiveness given to bad people is totally waste. Jodha and Jalal are fools to pardon her??? Why they are hell bent on making ruq so bad. These are just questions, i don't understand. Can you or anyone please explain. Thanks,Sush
Hi Sush- you ask very valid questions:
On Jalal's behavior with Ruqs, I think it is to force Ruqs to introspect and learn from her mistake. It was obvious from how she was talking to Jodha that hadn't happened yet. I am wondering if he will have another conversation with Ruqs to stop viewing Jodha as an enemy which leads to the precap scene.
Jalal can't be normal yet- he is allowed to be angry with friends. But if he had punished her publicly that door would be closed forever.
On Jodha standing up for herself- I think she prefers to be dignified than join MA and Ruqs in the mud - but with MA, Jodha hit the nerve that hurt- by saying I pity you- MA was livid
I believe Ruqs is feeling guilty but only to Jalal; she will never admit it to Jodha of all people. So let's wait and watch.
The purpose of Jalal forgiving her was to show how he was willing to give Ruqs another chance as he felt he had slight responsibility for what she did. Now no one can blame Jalal if Ruqs messes up again and Jalal punishes her.
Again this is just my POV on your questions. Let me know what you think.
Divi,
Yesterday's episode was in a way like a scene after the disaster had hit. It was empty, forlorn and had pain. Pain in the heart for Jalaal and pain in other parts for Shehnaaz and Ruqaiyya, who seems to beat all her relatives in Agra in matters of grey matter deficiency.
Jalaal:
Yes he had thanked Jodha for helping him tame his anger, and was thankful though his dream was broken, his friendship wasn't. But, that wasn't the end of the evening for the poor chap. He was only human and was still reeling from the betrayal his "friend" had subjected him to. And you can see his damp spirits when Jodha tries her best to bring him back from the dumps, you can see the resigned way in which he finally feeds Jodha. You can see it his stiff stand-offishness with Shehnaaz next day.
Jodha:
Realizing that the man of the household needed her as a strength, she mustered it up, and coddled him into eating, even if doing so with some really cliched and somewhat vague words. (They definitely need to hire new dialogue writers for her.) What captured my attention was her dress next day, her usual regalia was absent, which is a symbolic thing, in our place where elders say, you shouldn't go out aplomb in front of people who've had a tragedy as this would depress them more. I don't really know if this is what the director had in mind.
How many laughed when she had to move the cartwheel out of the way so that Jalaa could feed her? Of late the cartwheel on her face reminds me of set theory math classes. Universal set Jo's face, exclusive set area inside the cartwheel.
Shehnaaz:
Deserves a special award, and her brain should be donated to computer science for their advanced optical recognition technique. How in the world did she recognise the cave lady as her mother? She looked like Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch."
Ruqaiyya:
And this is where my attention lay.
How many of us beat our heads at her behaviour, I know I did (figuratively though). But, then I was happy with Jallu's behaviour day before y'day not for Ruqaiyya's sake, but his own.
Ruqaiyya in the precap is someone who's battling the truth that's all too obvious, having assumed Jalaal's dil to be an extinct species, she now realizes with Jodha influencing his decisions that his dimaag she had assumed was under her control, is no longer so.
Ruqaiyya is not me
That was the thing I told myself to control my anger at this girl. Of course she isn't me or any of us, to learn her lessons, and mind her manners so easily.
But Jalaal gave her the best verbal slap he could summon, the audha slap. Knowing how much audhas meant to her he said, he would sad that BEK would never be MUZ. But, did she learn? OF COURSE NOT.
However the italicized lines got my imaginations to run in full speed, and I tried imagining, what I would have done in Ruq's place. Now, that's quite an entertaining passtime.
For starters I would not employ such stupid plots. In fact I wouldn't even plot. Jalaal's heart lies somewhere else, and no amount of hatred would change that, so I would just be happy to be his trusted adviser now that Maham had been given the pink slip.
And yes, to vent out my frustration at being friend-zoned by the hottest man of 16th century, I would have organized crazy events like Beghums Vs. Bandhis Soccer League (FIFA WC is getting to me I guess.)
