Take 5: Top 5 Countdown for June 13th

Wednesday was an emotional roller coaster for Jalal, Thursday was an emotional roller coaster for us the audience to understand Jalal-Jodha-Ruqaiyya's changing equation. Today, I felt showed the dust settling in this equation.

So, here is my take 5 today:

(1) Pensive Jalal looking at the portrait of him and Ruqaiyya

There were many emotions running through Jalal's eyes as he was looking at the portrait of Ruqaiyya and himself ... To me it looked like he was trying to understand the future of his relationship with Ruqaiyya, and rightfully so.

And now we know why Ruqaiyya got that portrait hung there ... So Jalal could stare at it that very moment. 😆

That will be the only thing left of Ruq's with Jalal will have in future, they will not have any more portraits

But on a more serious note, , he now also understood the depth of insecurities that Ruqaiyya was so insistent on placing the portrait where she did- it was not just light jealousy,

(2) Jalal can share his sadness only with Jodha ... And only Jodha can support him

Loved how Jalal poured all his sadness to Jodha ... That was really telling - that was exactly why he could not share it with Ruqaiyya yesterday ... he did not feel the connect with her any longer to share his heart with Ruqaiyya. He probably also realized there was no point.

I also liked how Jodha supported him ... There was something endearing about the way she sat at his knees. She understood his sadness ... While also reminding him that he had to move on. And of course, the sweet way she emotionally blackmailed to him. And there was something equally endearing about the way Jalal touched Jodha's cheeks.

And how cute was it to see the couple feed each other! A very nice husband and wife scene.

Their relationship is going stronger day by day and I should say, I am liking this Jodha. She loves him and I am sure even if Ruq's blames her, she will not distance herself from Jalal

(3) While Ruqaiyya can only dream of hearing what really is in his mind ... As I guessed, the silence of Jalal was more tormenting to Ruqaiyya than him sceeaming at her ...

She was thinking about his silence before Jodha came in and once Jalal was with her alone she was asking him to scream at her, punish her or else she could not even look at in the mirror. That was turmoil and it looked every bit genuine.

So, was it fake or what changed in the precap? I think this is what changed. She thought Jalal her friend, her husband had forgiven her on his own thought ... Now she feels it is because of Jodha Begum and cannot stand it. Well, that is the dark side of psychology and I am not going to justify Ruqaiyya for it. This again is her folly to not recognize how Jalal was equally thoughtful in the matter and in realizing how he did not give her significant attention.

I liked Jalal's behaviour, he was cold and he is making Ruq feel guilty with his actions, but unfortunately that is not for long and if Ruq's said herself that she doesn't feel guilty for what she did, I don't think she deserves any more chance, what ever the reason maybe for Ruq's to change in precap, atleast she shouldn't have told that she doesn't regret her actions and even today when Jodha came in, she wasn't bit guilty about her actions, for her all it mattered was Jalal wasn't normal with her. She feels more for herself than for Jalal's pain.

I still am glad Jodha and Jalal gave her a second chance ... And now when she blows it the third time, no one can save her.

(4) Jalal may have forgiven but he has not forgotten and every word of his was piercing to Ruqaiyya

- His entry on the Jodha-Ruqaiyya conversation on how we need to forget the past pain ... Where he was referring to his pain and not Ruqaiyya's ... I also felt it was symbolic that he would now enter to save Jodha whenever Ruqaiyya attacks her

- His moving the paalna from Ruqaiyya to Jodha's hojra ... I felt this was symbolic of where his future dreams were

- And the most significant piercing sentence - when he said he pitied her that his Begum-e-Khaas could not ever become MUZ and that was her true punishment ... It was symbolic of how despite her obsession with audha, Ruqaiyya would fail to get the biggest audha she had desired

He is shattered and he understand Ruq's well. For her it was about Audha to become a mother, not the feeling which mattered.

(5) Shehnaaz has finally found her mother Chaand Begum ... Thank God she found that portrait the other day or else how would she have recognized her. Oh wait, how did she recognize Chaand Begum in the portrait as her mother? 😆Ah well, that is exactly the point- I am glad this loop-holey track is moving forward so it gets over. Hence, it makes my take 5. I thought there were enough serious thoughts for a day. 😆

This is the biggest blooper and that girl sucks big time, Jalal is unlucky with his sisters, nor by love or brains, they are equally selfish and dumb.
