Jodha was driven to suicide in Agra in her first few months. It is ONLY to Jodha's credit that thru her personality and positive spirit she turned the situation around.

Also to Jalals credit that HE saw what kind of person Jodha is and HE started to change cos he wanted her, Jalal wanted the respect, the love from Jodha that he unknowingly changed.

Remember in Amer - Jodha asked Jalal (Suk marriage track) why he cared what they thought and Jalal said he did.

Jalal fell in love and he is the one who changed and seeing this Jalal - Jodha fell in love with him.
