Seconldy, no other Begum of Jalal could gauge him...not even Rukks, she sure knew his calculations, that also to some extent..but she never understood him fully, otherwise she would have seen difference in Jalal's talks and actions...infact it was Jalal, who made her believe that only she understood him...of course he himself thought that at least as a friend to some extent she's within his wavelength...he'd not met any other women in his life who understood him even to an extent of Ruqaiya.

Also let's accept, Ruqaiya is and always was inept in understanding and handling emotional Jalal...she left him crying during BK's death cause she did not know what to do with this side of Jalal, how to console or handle him...and she ran away to control what she can, ie, Her harem

She can play games with Jalal, get physical in bed, can give some advise to him...but never complete him.

She is at fault, to not accept CHANGE in her own life, not only with regard to Jalal, but also her other relations, and in harem.

Why concentrate on Jodha? Before her came Salima Begum, and Jalal started to take advise from her also in important matters...but then she also can't give him things which pertains to matter of his heart. In fact Rukks was even miffed at that, and commented to Salima, that now Jalal values her and her advises a lot...

Then came Jodha...who challenged him, intrigued him, both mentally as well as emotionally...even during her "ghrina" phase she tried to understand him for what he did, why he did...questioned him, answered him...challenged him for his wrongs, making him startled, how she'd hit bull's eye...she advised him as a good minister, showed him mirror, stood beside him giving him much needed strength...had the audacity and courage to walk over him...show him her jealousy...and finally her love. Jodha also had the strength to take in his nafrat, his venom, his pain, his ignorance towards her, his care, concern, and his love. Jodha can handle an emotional Jalal...she tried in BB case, she did not run away, this was when she was not in love with him.

Ruqaiya can never take in Jalal's ignorance, hatred, pain...she'd not got that mental and emotional strength...

So, finally Jodha completed Jalal...she guaged him wholly, and most important she always tries to observe him, learn about him...this way their relationship can never stagnate...and Jalal is also with her on this..their wavelengths match cent-percent...they both are curious souls.

Ruqaiya had all things in her favour or stride to find about Jalal, what she did not know, she could have at least made an effort to know and recognize him emotionally...but she was under illusion that since they were childhood friends, she knew him and there was nothing more to know about him...and what she didn't know about him was not there in him, ie. his heart. And she moved to next priority in her life, her power and position..which ironically became her drug and topmost priority...may be she was fascinated by the way Jalal held command over his people being Shehanshaah, and since she could not become that, she fulfilled her desires of ruling, with her harem...in all this she failed to observe Jalal's lonely eyes, or better chose to ignore them.

There's difference between Man and women when it comes to relationship, and one can't sit and argue, that since Jalal also didn't try to love Ruqaiya, why she find his heart...such arguments spell doom for relationships.

Also its not only Ruqaiya who's going through the change, for Jalal also, life has changed and quite suddenly...at one time he'd BK and MA to trust and blindly so, next moment, he'd got no one...suddenly he's the sole Boy Emperor...whom should he cry and blame...One fine day he's feeling a tug and turmoil in an unknown organ of his body and no one is there to explain him, what's happening, not even his childhood friend is able to gauge him...he's left alone to unravel the mystery and he does, but his one Begum Jodha also helps in his this mission, and finds that he's got a beautiful heart inside him...Jalal always had a heart, and we knew that, but no, one told him this, not even Ruqaiya...next he finds out that he's lost that heart to his same, newest begum Jodha...now Ruqaiya wants his this side too...because she's his oldest wife and friend, so she thinks, this is her right and none else.😕

Life evolves and changes come, but the way person handles those changes in life, etches one's personality and tests one's strength...Jalal even now values Ruqaiya as much, but it is her deeds which are becoming more than mischief and mistakes, that is somewhat deterring him, though not much, from her. yes, Jalal was also part of crime with Ruqaiya but he acknowledged later that he was wrong, and what sort of best friend Ruqaiya was, that she never went against him, if and when he was wrong...she only gets upset, angry at Jalal if she feels, she's being devalued...

Ruqaiya does have a conscience and we've seen it many times but now it is buried deep...may be the result of this FP fiasco can shake her up... Personally I never disliked her even when she plotted against Jodha...but the moment she hit her so called whole world and life Jalal, where it will hurt him the most...I shut her up, she's a nobody. Even putting oneself in her shoes can't bring out the reasoning of her this act😕😡

I loved them after Jalal's birthday after Ruqs was upset about him liking Jodha's gift more- Jalal openly admitted he found a new friend and she openly asked whether he will forget the old friend. But CVs have forgotten such mature conversations exist.

It does not matter if she has the courage to face it or not ... But in the end of the day she needs to face the truth. I don't know if this analogy works or not ... But someone has to learn swimming but does not want to ... You can at least try convincing them once or you can push them in the water and force them to learn

It is like Ruqs is flailing in the water and tryig desperate things to stay afloat ... Instead of truly understanding the issues and their solutions.

So, all I feel is , someone could have tried talking to her ... Even Hamida Bano who noticed her jealousy when Ruqs followed them to Sikhri; but now she is in complete denial and flailing around trying to stay afloat in her dream world

also Jalal needs to show how Ruqs is still an important part of his life; he can't just say it or assume it

The problem is Ruqu doesn't want to share, she wants to be the " ONLY ONE" , when she rejected to go Shikri because he wants to take all 3 begums with her, so specifically says " SHE IS THE KHASS BEGUM " she will not join with any other Begums rejected to go with him . In Tasneem track also when Jallu called for 3 khass begums that time also Ruqu was anger, that now Jallu wants to take opinions of Salima & JO .. She never liked Jalaal taking advice from Salima, as till Salima & JO enter it's Ruqu who ruled Jalaal mind.

I agree- everyone knows what her problem is ... The question is what is the solution, ignore her, till she learns? That is only where a conversation would help

She knows very well that Jalaal changed getting attracted & close to JO physically & emotionally... Ruqu knows she lost Jalaal ... that old Jalaal who used to come straight to her, share everything with her, play with her, praise her, even if she is buzy in haram he used to wait for her, ask her advice on political matters... But now even if JO is not there in Agra also, he spend his nights in JO hojra instead of coming to her, nor showed interest playing, spending time or sharing with her Before JO came she though he will come back to her after few weeks, but after JO came, she saw how JJ getting closer physically also..

But that's the thing right- Jodha is getting everything? Does Ruqs have a role at all? That is what she needs assurance on

I feel Ruqu also craves the attention & love Jalaal showers on JO, she got that attention & praises for her intelligence. But not that love & attraction Jalaal has for JO, like even in anger (BEN track) he couldn't take his eyes on JO in Mughal dress, even didn't get angry JO rejected to come to Agra with him, still waiting for her return and when he got the news of JO arrival waited madly eagerly to get glimpses of JO face...

Ruqu never felt or see that Jalaal attraction, madness, crazy , emotional bonding & love for her... Now she wants all this her Jalaal back , as she doesn't want to accept that JO taken away her Jalaal as for her it's a defeat that too from JO, because Ruqu is always winner never lost before, for her it's hook or crook she wants to get back her Jalaal, but now feeling that if truth of Fake Pregnancy come Jallu will get away from her.. Now she wants to come out from that plan she herself created, as still also she unable to keep JJ apart, even JO serving her, but JO is only getting all the attention from jalaal and even their bonding getting more deeper.

I agree with all that Ruqs is losing ... But who likes to admit they lost? She tried a desperate measure to regain it and I agree it is a stupid plan,

But that is the exact issue ... She will now lose what she had left in trying to gain it all

In the DEK, it was Jalaal deducing that the attack was masterminded by Gazi Khan. Agreed, he stopped short of finding out it was Adham's brain-wave, but, let's give the lad some time.

Again, in the last scene while talking to Jodha, he told her it was someone close to him, from the palace that had orchestrated the attack, but, went a wee bit off-course, and thought it was because of Chand Beghum, which is logical for him given the evidences available at this point in time to him. At least he's barking up the right family tree. I wonder, how much his hatred for Maham will multiply after this revelation.

I don't know what to make of the Shehnaaz situation except for the typical CV botch-up. She said, she had seen CB's picture for the first time, ok, so she still recognized her, does this mean, she had seen her before in person? If she had already seen her then why did CB lose her mind? Does it mean, that an unhinged CB, Shehnaaz, and the lady humpty-dumpty were living happily, before CB somehow came to Agra and was kidnapped by Maham, leading Shehnaaz to turn vigilante with a twisted theory in her head? I am sure then she got her mad-act idea from her mum. I don't know it's all too hazy.

CV botch up is the only thing that makes sense

Jalaal speaking to his baby really broke my heart, and I wanted to whack Ruqaiyya, but, she looked repentant. Jodha realized how much he loves the baby.

I know it was a poignant scene!

Precap - Ah it looks promising! That Ruqaiyya's truth will be out was a given, but, that Jalaal will do it, is a welcome thing, Ruqaiyya's behaviour has raised quite a few eyebrows, but, exactly what led Jalaal to test her remains to be seen. He looked totally diabolical.
