Today's episode saw movement on many fronts ... Here is my take 5:

(1) Atgah and Jalal did find the right enemy ... Gzzi Khan.

I was impressed by Atgah's investigation skills looking at the body of the soldier, finding the mark, and then tracing it to Gazi Khan. 👏 About time! 😉

And I know a lot of people thought they will find the wrong person, but they actually did find the right person ... He was helping Adham Khan.

But the root cause is still there to be found, Adham Khan, ... But for now they are focused on Raja Ramachandra.

I am glad that Jalal is finally shown cracking down on an enemy ... And launching a war. I almost forgot they had wars back then. 😆

Quick question: Was King Ramachandra the king that Jalal was upset at when he was speaking to Todarmal and Maan Singh the other day? I missed the name the other day.

(2) Maan Singh the warrior and his Mughal Aunt ...

It was great to see Maan Singh to get screen time today and in a way that foreshadowed his growing importance in the Mughal Army and how he would have to battle many Rajvanshi kings in the future. You could relate to his turmoil ... As a Rajvanshi and part of the Mughal Sultanate.

Loved Jodha in her Mughal Begum avatar ... Where she said an enemy was an enemy regardless of religion and he should focus on serving the Mughal empire.

Oh yes ... And the Angry Jalal

And Jalal came in and added his angry instructions well! I love Angry Jalal so cannot resist.

BTW Maan Singh looked sharp in his warrior attire ... I kind of want to see Jalal in a similar attire and Jodha doing aarti for him, what say? 😉

(3) But, instead we get Jalal the Father ... Showering his love for his unborn (non-existent) baby ... It was touching to see Jalal speak to his "baby" ...

And it finally touched Ruqs when she feels guilty and begins to realize how badly she has trapped herself and how Jalal's dreams will be shattered.

How is it that people realize their mistake right before they are going to get caught?

(4) Jalal stealing some time away with Jodha

I think many would be happy Jalal called away Jodha from Ruqs to spend time with her ... I was too.

I was even happier to see they didn't talk about their respective hunars/gyaans, bachchas, and leps ... But focused on Mughal History and Chaand Begum. 😆

I also liked Jodha's interest in Mughal history.

The irony that Jalal is so concerned about Chaand Begum and her daughter and Shehnaaz is thinking the exact opposite.

(5) Jalal the genius? Yes, I am referring to the precap. I think it is highly unlikely as it is very elaborate and there is an official looking spoiler that Ruq's truth will be out... It looks like Jalal will ask the hakim for a test for pregnancy.

Looks like the new hakim has an upgraded, instant formula to detect fake pregnancy? Jodha's multi-colored vomit took some time in coming. 😆

And even if this dream, at least someone thinks that Jalal is this smart in their dreams! 😆

A few more questions that are bugging me:

Okay, this Shehnaaz track as wider holes than Swiss cheese ... A few major questions I have :

- If this is the first time Shehnaaz is seeing her Mom's picture, how did she recognize Chaand Begum's picture as they only referred to her as a khaas begum? Is it some kind of genetic connection? 😆

- How did Jalal kidnap Chaand Begum when he wasn't even born yet when all this happened? 😆

Looks like the CVs may even show Shehnaaz in charge of Delhi soon and I have not heard any historical account of that yet ...

Ah well, logic is too much to ask for these days!

So, what were your thoughts on the episode and the take?

I was the first one comment, and probably the last one to update it. 😛

However, yesterday's episode was dedicated to Jalaal putting on his thinking cap.

In the DEK, it was Jalaal deducing that the attack was masterminded by Gazi Khan. Agreed, he stopped short of finding out it was Adham's brain-wave, but, let's give the lad some time.

Again, in the last scene while talking to Jodha, he told her it was someone close to him, from the palace that had orchestrated the attack, but, went a wee bit off-course, and thought it was because of Chand Beghum, which is logical for him given the evidences available at this point in time to him. At least he's barking up the right family tree. I wonder, how much his hatred for Maham will multiply after this revelation.

I don't know what to make of the Shehnaaz situation except for the typical CV botch-up. She said, she had seen CB's picture for the first time, ok, so she still recognized her, does this mean, she had seen her before in person? If she had already seen her then why did CB lose her mind? Does it mean, that an unhinged CB, Shehnaaz, and the lady humpty-dumpty were living happily, before CB somehow came to Agra and was kidnapped by Maham, leading Shehnaaz to turn vigilante with a twisted theory in her head? I am sure then she got her mad-act idea from her mum. I don't know it's all too hazy.

Jalaal speaking to his baby really broke my heart, and I wanted to whack Ruqaiyya, but, she looked repentant. Jodha realized how much he loves the baby.

Precap - Ah it looks promising! That Ruqaiyya's truth will be out was a given, but, that Jalaal will do it, is a welcome thing, Ruqaiyya's behaviour has raised quite a few eyebrows, but, exactly what led Jalaal to test her remains to be seen. He looked totally diabolical.

Just one prayer, I hope, they show it tonight and not keep us waiting for one more day.😡

Nice short and sweet take 5 divya for a bewildering episode.

CVs have finally remembered that they have a character called Maan Singh. And my,did he look charged up for the war or what? Absolutely loved his get up...

The precap is scary man... I don't think it is another huge plot of Ruk because of obvious reasons. But I so wanted the bhandaphod to happen in a grand scale with spectators et al. I was almost wishing she was exposed in a stadium. But alas it has to happen in the confines of her room. Just hope Jalal drags her to the BEK and deals with her there.

What puzzles me is that if this major revelation happens tomorrow which means Jalal will be shattered beyond comprehension but in the shehnaz wala promo both Jalal and jodha look happy and content as if nothing really happened. Also, is that the khandaani kangan that Jalal is making jo wear in that promo? Is she declared pregnant already?

About this entire shehnaaz and CB confusion I feel as if the CVs have lost sense of direction. They have no idea how to proceed with such a lop sided track.

Nice post divya and me too luved angry jalal and tht sabash from jalal but ms's walk is quiet funny.Regarding precap i thnk yes jalal knows about ruks preg but not about her chal bcoz in precap jalal is not angry with ruk but he luks worried and concerned and k lets wait and watch and cvs joined ur frd tm in oneliners list.

loved Maan Singh today; this is his true calling in history

When it comes to pregnancies Jalal is much more private ... Even when Jalal thought Jodha was pregnant with another person's child he was silent about it ... So I wouldn't worry too much about it

Thank you, you are back on form. I really liked today's episode for the following reasons-

1.We get to see Man Singh speak and act, he looked a real warrior in his body armour. This boy is photogenic, he has that style, all he needs is a chance. I think if given that, he will make his mark as the second lead in this serial.

2. Shenaz is not a black character. I believe, to understand Shenaz's position, a classic Hindi movie Trishul will be helpful. Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor, brothers from different mothers, hate each other, but at the end they bond and their father Sanjeev Kumar dies in true filmy style to save his estranged son Amitabh. In our serial, Shenaz will realize that Jalal is not bad, she will be given assurance of "Haq", but to avoid complications that this will cause, the CV's will create a situation where she will give up her life to save Jalal or Jodha and all will be well in the Mughal world.

3. Regarding Ruq, either this is a drama by her to get out of the tough position she finds herself by pretending that she herself has been misled about the pregnancy. Only later will the true deceit perpetrated by her, come out.

It is all Ruq's dream driven by insecurities and her anxiety about Jalal's reaction to her chaal.

Divya the episode is OK... Bored seeing Shahnaaz thinking & ranting that Jalaal kidnapped her mom, if so why would he keep her alive ?
What is the guarantee that she is Humayun's & CB daughter ? How can she prove herself ?

Atleast Jalaal got the attacker name Razi Khan who did that behalf of Adham, I must say this time AK used his brain.. Now Jallu declared the war to get the Razi khan..

Good to see JO & Maansingh, these 2 never come together. Hope CVS show more scenes between them, after all he came to Agra for his Jodha buasa..Good to see JO advising now he is Mughal solider, so he has to be royal to Jalaal and angry Jalaal who want that Razi Khan what every drop JO shed...

For a change Ruu felt happy & hugged JO for the palana . But felt sad & sorry seeing how happy Jalaal is thinking about the child & his
talk to the virtual baby in Ruqu womb...

Now atleast she felt a little bit guilty , but afraid her fake pregnancy went too far, as now also Jalaal asked her permission to take JO with him, Ruqu has to give fake smile and say she is your Begum, not need or her permission...

Precap I feel it was also Ruqu plan, she now doesn't want to continue, some how she will blame it Hakim mistake just like they had a mistake on JO before...Some how she herself will say or do to make Jallu think that she is not pregnat..

Is it Ruqu dream ? or Jallu got shaq on Ruku ?

nice take. i just want to add one thing. jalal's perfect analysis about his enemies in the last scene. he clearly understood tht sumone else must have helped kazi khan. so jalal using his brain always gives me pleasure.😆

P.S.:- i know in the end shehnaaz will realize tht jalal is innocent & tht will be due to jodha's long lectures. i also know tht shehnaaz will be forgiven, but honestly whtever maybe the issue i dont want her to be forgive, bcoz she literally tried to kill rahim. & thts really ridiculous.😡

Agree with all ur points!
Even i was thinking while watching that how did Shehnaz recognise her mother...i m sure the daasi wud not have her picture to show to Shehnaz!! Then again logic is something we cant expect from cv's now can we!!
I loves when Jallu took Jo with him and told Ruqu upfront that he needs to talk to her...Ruqu was trying to b smart as she aaked Jo to stay and not Jallu ciz she knew if she asked Jallu, Jo will also stay and that way she wont b able to separate them so she asked Jo to stay back but today Jallu said no and i was sooo happy that he did that and even Jo agreed sulent and disnt say she wud stay back!! Thank god!

Precap: i m sooo looking forward to Ruqu's bhandaphod!! But i m curious about how, why and when Jallu got doubt on Ruqu, coz till today he seemed to b believing in the pregnancy!!
Whatever the reason i m happy finally this fake pregnacy track willl b over
