heya mansi, what an amazing take for yesterday's amazing episode... I dearly loved your 'green' thoughts today... moreso than before...😆 how amazingly you've outlined what a marriage between a king and queen, a husband and wife, who are equals at all steps of life, entails... beautifully written... especially the last para ... kudos👏👏
Let me start with the fight scene first...
mansi, have you seen two fighters who are trained to fight together against their enemy in action...? everything looks seamlessly choreographed, the moves are smooth and blows and attacks flow with liquid fluidity...there is comfort, faith and loads and loads of trust...
jodha and jalal were much the same way yesterday... only difference was that they had not been trained to complement each other's skills, neither they had learned to read the thoughts of the other during a battle,
rather it was an innate link between the two, a bond blessed by the divine hand and nature, a connection strengthened by innumerable tests of trust, an association where neither needed to voice their thoughts for the other to know what was desired... in other words... perfect partners, perfect comrades, perfect teammates and perfect couple... they complemented each other's strengths and made up for the other's weakness... and seeing the two together in action was no short of breath taking...
Jalal was fighting the enemies, defending his, but more so his begum's honour whom the enemy had the audacity to capture and mistreat... he thrust and parried, seemingly dancing on his feet, nimble and quick as he twirled, ducked, jumped, swung, defended and attacked... slowly he was gaining momentum over his enemies and jodha was keenly watching the action when suddenly we see, Jalal has left his back exposed momentarily and one enemy, finding his opening roars in for a lethal blow from behind...
is it the end for jalal...? Nooo
Jodha, finding that her husband needs her intervention, jumps into the fray, sword held aloft as she defends jalal from behind... she holds the enemy at bay with ease as jodha and jalal exchange words of reassurance and with a silent go unleash their joined prowess against the hapless enemies...
jalal kicks his enemy while jodha pushes her with a shove, she turns in time to catch another while jalal, in that same mili-second stabs the one jodha pushed as she turns...
then what ?
jodha and jalal each handle half a dozen enemies each, defend and shove the first, duck, shove the second, lethally attack the first... one down, more to go... all the while standing with their backs facing, not letting any enemy breach the invisible circle they created in battle, kept to it's boundary and thus protected the other... adrenaline surging and scruples forgotten in face of danger to their beloved...
my god... the synchrony the two shared... i won't be surprised if the two were breathing in tandem too... in battle as well as on normal days too...
last two left, what to do, what to do... the 20 something were a trifle-irritant... these last two enemies were child's play... who gets to play with which? it was highly amusing... the last two still want to play...? but now they are bored... lets be done with this farce of a fight... surge forward, duck, stab... last one left... he flees...oh well... good riddance...
...
...
WOW...
then atga rushes in like the police of hindi movies when all the action has dried up and the adrenaline rush is slowing...
Jodha notices the wounds from when jalal was fighting alone... immediately the blood lust is forgotten... the fiery rajput blood succumbs under the concern of the loving wife... she holds jalal by his hand and leads him to a tree root... where she settles him comfortably and then looks around for herbs to make a basic first-aid lep... and then the overly sweet tender loving care with which the two look after each others wounds and exchange love filled glances and proud reflections of the valour and courage of the other...
...
WOW...!! 😳
These two... Are not good for my sensitive heart...😆
but i want a jodha of my own too...!!! this woman finds lep-material any and everywhere and i can't even find a pesky band-aid in the first-aid box too...😡😆😆
ooh... and the scene where jalal fought the enemies and then threw his sword to free jodha... the way he caught her and then the way time seemed to stop as they found themselves close to each other... for a few heartbeats both forgot that they were still very much potential prisoners in the enemy's lair... it was when jodha regained her senses and forced herself to be put down... she turned to go but jalal stopped her and pulled her close... and in the middle of the desolate dungeon, standing between the slayed bodies of their enemy, they looked very much wanting to indulge in heavy making out session...😆
isn't this passion enough...!!😉😉
I'll skip over the aadham scene, the javeeda scene and the resham scene...
the last scene was aptly described by you mansi... the two, esp jalal, can't stop gushing over the courage, bravery and ruthlessness of the other... the precao was another tantalising repeat of the end scene, just with ruks constipated face as jalal vowed to take jo with him everywhere...
is that why jo accompanied him war expeditions...???😆
oh forgot to mention... when jalal's soldiers were being killed one by one, what a cute lighthearted akdha music was playing in the BG... what contrast😆
thats all...
best wishes
