bt seriously i liked the warmth of the kiss no matter watevr others think bt fr me it ws much needed one...afterall she is also his wife nd dat to chief wife...nd i luved the fact that she didnt try to be fakingly sweet to jo...it ws not needed also...one shud show wat he/she xactly feels...i jst want her to maintain the dignity nd nt show her jealousy on her face evry moment which i dnt cvs will let happen😡instead they will butcher her character like anything to jajo close

Nice post Mandy...being an AkDha fan its really painful to watch RuqLal scene but as u said she's also his wife & most importantly his best friend so he can't ignore her. I agree with u & I say he will never ignore Ruq until she herself does something drastic. Whatever he did yesterday it was very natural & I think if Salima or any other begum was there he should have done the same. As a wife her jealously is very natural but she never felt so much jealous before. Earlier also Jalal married many women & slept with them but she had no prob then why this treatment with Jodha? What I didn't like was what she said to herself, " Humare rehte hue apne Jalal k itne kareeb ane ki himmat kaise ki Jodha begum...?" Why? Isn't Jodha also his begum? Doesn't she also have right to spend time with him? The problem is that she was ok at Jalal's spending night with other women if she was the only chief queen & BEK in Jalal's life. What she is not able to digest is now same privilege Jodha shares. She's feeling insecure but if she really claims to be Jalal's childhood friend she should understand that her ahmiyat in Jalal's life will never be sidelined. Naye ko ahmiyat dene se purane ki ahmiyat kam nahi ho jati. Ruq just needs to understand that. People here talk so much abt polygamy. They must all know in polygamy one wife has to accept other wives of the husband. Ruq is not doing that. Her jealousy is natural. Even Jodha felt jealous when Jalal went to Ruq but remember what she said to herself, "Ruq begum shehenshah ki patni hain...shehenshah k apni dusri patniyon k liye bhi kartavya hain phir hume bura kyun lag raha hai..." See Jodha is also jealous here but she accepts his other wives.

alapi😆..tell me about it!..the forehead kiss was more convincing than the hug..hope ja jo improve next time..fingers crossed!..even i did not get that pran thing..when where and what was it..i am concentrating on selective scenes..i just get the juice out and enjoy instead of sulking on what i do not get😉!

Somebody said here in the forum that polygamy is all about equality. But tell me when was this followed in the show? If such was the case there wouldn't have been just one "Begum-E-Khas". Ruq should understand what other begums must have felt when only she used to take all the attention of Shehenshah. But you see there can't be two heroins in a love story toh ek ko negative toh banana hi padega. I hope one day Ruq will accept Jodha in his life willingly. Then we'll be able to see real polygamy. And my Jallu he knows how to balance relationship & he'll always do that.

neha dear no doubt our jallu will eventually find a way out to resolve such issues which will prop here and there in a polygamy set up😉..ruk so far has been used to getting jalla's sole attention but now things have turned the other way round..she was in denial..now she knows how jalal feels for jodha..now she will try various tricks as per our great natkiye rupantars to separate the two but that will bounce back on her with even greater force..she will fall and get hurt badly..maybe jalal will stop talking to her for a while..then realization will come that she cannot afford to loose jalal and will have to accept jodha at the end..and hopefully a happy ending!

And about Ruqaiya's rude behavior with Jodha ? Oh Please ! She has already made it clear to Jalal, Salima and in fact everyone else that she dislikes ans is jealous of Jodha. When you dislike someone, everything that person does for you seems fake to you ! This is what exactly Ruqaiya feels about Jodha. If there is anyone that Mahaan to be on good terms with the person you hate and you are jealous of then congrats to them !

In the end, I have no problem with Jalal's intimacy with Ruqaiya or any one of his begum. He is not supposed to be a ek patni vrata pati and ignore his first wife.

shweta, very well written!..ruk is the first wife..she had learnt to live with the fact that he has no heart, although whenever he used to claim of having no heart her eyes went moist..but she hid her pain from him..that shows her dignity!..her character is being and will be butchered in future as well..we all know that!..what she felt after watching the two love birds is where she missed or is she lacking something in her that she could not get what jodha is getting today..! does not matter how grey she is, after all she is just human!

Shweta, I agree with you in toto. And my only concern is Ruq will do dumb thing of playing fake pregnancy and this will defintely be her downfall, we know that you cannot like a person whom you are jealous of.
