Another wonderful analysis from you Mansi.👏
I agree with you wholeheartedly on your take on precap. I too think the same.
I remember we discussing this sometime back. But still I would like to add that I would admire a man who is not afraid to show his feelings, sensitivity. Only a man who is comfortable in his own skin and "manliness" can do this. I would definitely like this confident man.
And Jalal is a confident man. I like that Jalal is free enough to be a human in front of his beloved.
He had always taken care of everyone in his life.. Ruks, MA, HB everyone. He had to be the strong one always. Even Ruks, his so called friend, expect him to take care of her. But when faced with challenges, all she can do is throw tantrums. When there was this talk of a divorce, instead being with Jalal to find out solution, she distanced herself from Jalal and the problem and expected him to correct it alone. Never once she thought of her best friend, his sadness in this whole fiasco. Never once did she think that he may be equally hurting to loose his first wife and confidante. Let us not compare Ruk and Jodha here. Jodha knew Jalal only from few months, where as Ruk has been with Jalal for more than a decade. Ruk should understand Jalal better than anyone else.
Everyone needs someone with whom they need not be strong always. With whom they can let go and can be vulnerable from time to time, and trust that the other person will hold it together. So, who is there for Jalal? Does he not deserve such a soulmate? Of course he does and he finds Jodha to be strong enough for both of them, when he falters.
So, if he cries in front of her and asks for her shoulder, there is nothing wrong in that.
Now for the episode, I liked the whole episode. But would like to highlight couple of points:
1) Jalal always held Jodha's hand possessively, to show dominance, to humiliate her knowing that she does not like to be touched. But yesterday he asked for her hand and she gave it freely, in love.
2) Both could not take eyes off each other, they seems to be having conversation on their own. They did not even bother with the outside world.
3) His nervousness, which you have explained beautifully... 😃
