What not to like in today's episode. It can't better then this. First a big round of applause to CV's and the director for creating this. It is not so easy to still create this magic after running a show for so long. But i am glad JA stands apart from other TV soaps.
I now know why the CV's gave us one full of episode of Jalal ecstatic about her arrival, that build up of emotions when released, comes out a beautiful portrayal of love, which happened today with just eye expressions and body language.
First jo-ja eyelock - When they started walking towards each other, Jo remembered the first time she saw him during Muh-dikhayi and Jalal remembered when he saw her in Palaquin. What a beautiful FB scene that was and Jalal was smoking hot and looked dashing during the whole scene and the slight smirk on his face when he did adaab was to die for. Jodha started at him all the while and OMG she was drop dead gorgeous.
Tilak scene and hand holding - He kept staring at her all the while and she was feeling shy at his intense look and when she gave her hand to him, he pressed it tightly...and then she blushed again. I had butterflies in my stomach when he did that. I loved that shot and how it zoomed out ruqayya in the background. Was epic.
The walk to the hojra and Kanha sthapana- He was constantly starting at her without blinking and she was glancing his stare now and then, looking down sometimes, happy and shy. Wow..it was so symbolic as if they were taking phere steps and walked away hand in hand...
Jodha was stunned looking at the Kanha mandir, and i must say it was divine. The decoration and set up of that mandir was purely brilliant and divine. She was so overwhelmed with emotions, happiness and gratitude in her eyes, and he was just simply staring at all her expressions.
This particular scene, pari and rajat were competing at against each other. They outdid their previous performances...it was excellent performance. Not to mention, Jodha looked at ease for the first time standing next to him, and i saw them like a husband and wife for the first time. Such a beautiful moment.
Last Jo-Ja scene- Jalal staring at the moon, and wind blowing on his hair, and he remembering Jodha looking at him, holding his hands, and smiling to himself was so so sweet. All the feelings that one goes through when they are head over heels in love like nervousness, butterflies in stomach, anticipation and daydreaming...are do well pot rayed in this scene.
p.s: i found it very funny when Moti told jodha that Jalal did not go to see any other begums, just spend all the time in her hojra, Jodha felt shocked and so happy to hear that he has not been sleeping around with his other begums..May be she was not expecting that from him..😉
I just love this show and I am looking forward to watch more of their beautiful Journey.
